The property was tidy and had all that we needed for our stay in the Barossa Valley. Although there was a minor issue when the house gas bottles ran out, Richard was incredibly responsive in sorting out the issue and even gifted us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Would stay again if we’re visiting the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jesmond Dene. It is spacious, well set up and provisioned and conveniently located for exploring The Barossa Valley.
We enjoyed being able to walk to the main street of Angaston for meals at night.

It was a good base for our adventures in the Barossa, close enough to everything without being on the main street.

My friends and I really enjoyed our 3 night break in Angaston at this delightful character home. It had everything we hoped for, was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed not only with breakfast provisions, but also a lovely bottle of wine and chocs. Super comfy beds and excellent a/c when needed - perfect.

House was lovely and comfortable, nice and clean and good location. Gorgeous garden
Would have appreciated some milk in the fridge.
Some local produce i.e. wine cheese as a complimentary welcome would be a nice touch, for price of stay.

This was a very comfortable stay for 3 couples. All bedrooms were a good size. Bed linen was lovely and beds were comfortable. Very generous provisions to start us off [chocolates/wine didn't last long!]. A lot of extra little touches that make it a lovely stay. Good airconditioning. Nice outdoor area.

Very homely and comfortable
Thankyou Richard,
We had a wonderful time, the house was very comfortable, clean and cosy. It was in a great spot close to everything we needed in the Barossa. I would recommend the property to everyone it was a 100% better than staying in a hotel/motel and very affordable.
Thankyou for looking after us and for spoiling us with all the wonderful little surprises on our arrival.

The owner Richard is a wonderful host who went above and beyond in ensuring our stay at Jesmond Dene was everything we wanted and needed it to be. The food supplies were such that when we arrived late in the day we could just relax knowing we didn’t have to race out and shop. Thanks to the owners Richard and Lili for delivering a very enjoyable rental experience.

well described, well appointed
Thank you Richard and Lilli for our wonderful extended Easter break. We appreciated the well stocked pantry, fresh fruit platter and complimentary local wines. The Lindt Easter bunnies on each of our beds was a welcoming touch. The house is well appointed, comfortable and homey. We enjoyed the rear deck. We were very close to all the Angaston and Barossa must do places including Casa Carboni, Ferment Asian, The Eatery, La Estanco, Barossa Cheese, Angaston Farmer's Market - ran out of time! Thanks again for your hospitality and we will continue to recommend Desmond Jene
