Gute Unterkunft, aber mit intransparenten Preisen bei zusätzlichen Gästen.

Gute und ruhige Lage, viel Platz, großer Garten, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host (Noah), ordentliches WLAN/Internet.

- Obwohl über booking.com das ganze Anwesen gebucht wird und kein Hinweis zu finden ist, dass der Preis für eine begrenzte Anzahl von Gästen gilt, mussten wir für Freunde aus Harare, die im Anwesen übernachtet haben extra zahlen. - Nur bedingte Privatsphäre, da viele andere Personen mit auf dem Anwesen.

Spiders We requested insect 🦟 spray and staff left us an empty bottle instead of telling us there was none Bed linen was dirty staff changed the linen in fairness Very dusty it felt it was not deep cleaned Netflix was locked only profile available was for children programs No water in the shower We ended up leaving the following morning as it was terrible In summary it’s a place for putting your head down as it’s far from relaxing and the sofas are cloth and very dusty we had to cover with bedsheets for us to be able to sit on them I later requested to book for later days as I still had 2 nights they refused which is fine

Beautiful living spaces with good facilities.

The lodge is spacious allowing space for both adults and children. We made a last minute reservation and were thrilled the manager had poultry for sell and the place is conveniently located near a Spa shop.

There’s a limit to the hot water supply , we had to restrict the size of our baths.

Big rooms with comfy beds that's it!

Please may the owner read and act on reviews!!!! I used this same house last year and left feedback and got an apology. I booked again this year hoping things had changed. They hadn't. A male member of staff came to open the gate. He then vanished into a room in the building on the Left. On knocking and calling he refused to come out. I wanted him to accompany me as there was a large loose dog barking. A female then came out and accompanied after I had said I would complain about them. There is no hot water The showers don't work. WiFi was not topped up!

Overall very disappointing!

1. Proximity to Airport. 2. Met on arrival. 3. Breakfast was worth the US$5 per person extra.

1. A less than friendly barking dog sometimes roaming the grounds. 2. One of the three toilets did not flush at all (handle spins). 3. The other two toilets ran continuously after the cistern was full. 4. Lack of hot water and little water pressure. 5. No basic provisions or welcome pack (e.g. tea bags, milk, coffee). 6. No bedside lights in any bedroom. 7. One of the four bedrooms had no lights at all! 8. No towels on arrival (sorted after we mentioned it). 9. No instructions for TV (so only found two channels). 10. WiFi costing US$10 per day is unacceptable in 2023 (but partly my fault as I missed this when booking). 11. But the worst and most dangerous thing was a socket which came away from the wall when one guest removed a phone charger plug! However, with a little more attention to detail and plumbing/electrical repairs the property could be a good value venue for groups or families staying in Harare.

Cold water gives this a cold review, unfortunately for the warm caretaker.

The location from airport very convenient. Every thing was clean. Cooked breakfast by one of the caretakers, who set up everthing nice (but we had to go grocery shopping to get the food and bottled water). Spacious rooms allowed us to welcome our in country hosts who picked us up at the airport and took us grocery shopping.

There was no hot water for shower or bathing. I called out for the caretaker as instructed, but no answer, even when I knocked on his door.The water was also turned off to a halfbath room, and its light was not working. I felt as though they were not ready for us. We also paid extra for wifi, but there was no internet connection. This place was a self catering house, but the lack of preparation of the utilities was not right. Especially after flying 21 hours and ready for a hot shower, which was not to be. The information about breakfast was not clear. The instructions on line said breakfast could be ordered for $5 a person. But it did not clarify that guests still had to bring food for the breakfast. The $5 was for the cook to come into the kitchen, prepare the food, set the dining table and clean up, which was nice. This was my first time to Zimbabwe and i picked this place because the hotel I wanted stay was booked full. This residence is for local people familiar with local customs. My in country hosts told me that this house was a self catering house, a term which should be on the website. Not a good option for USA people needing a place to stay and who do not have a car.

Toilets were not flushing we used bucket system. Kitchen drainage was blocked. Electricity was a problem and dstv was not working.

the house is very beautiful

there was no running, water, the house was dirty and had the caretaker and his kids do not value the guests’ privacy. the geyser was not working and the place looked like it had not been cleaned after the guest before us had left.There are spiders everywhere

Disappointing

We had no hot water at all and generally very low pressure and after reading a review about the hot water the host justified that review by making it seem the client was just being difficult but we had the same challenges and they all seemed surprised when we said we had not hot water.

Everything the linen cutlery bathroom . The area. The accomodation was poor .We was not happy with the accomodation and service. We was charged for everything including toilet rolls . There's hardly any water and no hot water. We had to boil water. There's huge spiders all over . There's mold on containers. The dishes are in a terrible condition. We was told we would have a helper to clean but that never transpired. They put out big dogs on the property so we couldn't go outside. Theres interleading doors to the outside and to the outside which makes you feel unsafe . The road leading to the property is all gravel and no street lights . I'm actually disappointed with booking.com as we trust that you have reliable accommodation . This was really a ripp off for the money we paid and I'm highly disappointed

A very comfortable staycation

A big house good for a family vacation.Clean and well looked after.

Very poor Internet. I had to buy bundles separately. Pricing on Booking. com not accurately explained. Hot water supply in the morning was erratic. Electric shower pumps needed fixing.

The place is top notch, the outside photos does not do it justice. Everything is 100%

The house is big and well furnished There is back up power for electricity.

There are no towels There is no soap or shower gel The soap holder on the shower in the ensuite bathroom needs cleaning. It was the first time I has gone to a Booking.com accommodation without these basic amenities. I was woken up before 8am by noise of coming from just next to the main bedroom. A man reading/speaking loudly, a baby crying. Opening and closing of a metal door. It sounded like they were right in my bedroom! The plan was to sleep in until check out at 12 but this was not possible. It was after i complained that this stopped but it was too late for me as I could not sleep after. I was told the office was next to the bedroom which is unfortunate. Perhaps the staff need to be told whenever there is a booking not to be so loud or just stay away from the main bedroom!
