A very centrally located and good sized apartment, with a nice view. It is also very quiet, as it doesn't open onto the street. An easy walk to anything you'd want to visit in Chartres.

Location was walking distance to Chartres Cathedral and train station. I did not use the kitchen but did use the laundry facilities, which worked great. The view of Chartres from the balcony was exactly as pictured. The host was there to greet me and helped with settling in. Apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious.

no tea!!! ☹️ Not easy to access parking at first - was a bit unclear where to go. loads of check in check out emails and texts on top of Booking.com- a bit unnecessary

It was too hot. I understand that probably in Chartres is never very hot and it's not worthed to install the air condictioned but, if you rent a flat on the fifth floor and there are 39 degrees outside, you can put some cooling fans at least.

The balcony was a fantastic sun trap. Great little apartment, very pleasant stay with all the amenities we could need.

A few things to note: -the washing machine didn't work (did not spin) -you might want to add some more kitchen utensils (pot lids etc) -The drains in the kitchen and bathroom need to be cleared. They block and have a funny smell sometimes.
