About this house rental
By the "Bassin d'Arcachon", between the forest and beaches, at the heart of the "Landes et Gascogne" natural park. A charming 135 m2 contempory villa on a level, entirely built of wood surrounded by approximately 120m2 of wood terraces. A pleasant swimming pool, salt treated and protected with an electrical roll back cover. The spacious veranda will enable you to enjoy the garden during the half-season.The house faces South/ South-West. Situated on the second row back from the street, it is a peacefull haven for your family holiday. Each bedroom opens onto a terrace. The house, which has been classified 4 stars by the Gironde Tourism Board is available all the year round for stays of 4 days or more. You will be given a personnal welcome, sheets are supplied and you will find the beds made up ready for you on arrival. Although the house has a quiet "stay at home" feeling about it, there is plenty to dofor holiday makers in the area : Ocean beaches 25mn away, less than 10mn away calm inner waters to swim in, ideal for small children. Cycling on the 200 km cycle tracks around the Bassin within easy reach of the house (500m). Only 6 km away The Teich wild bird reserve can be an entertaining outing. Discovering the well preserved natural beauties of the region: Arcachon,Dune du Pyla, Cap Ferret, oyster farms where you can taste and buy fresh oysters..... As a family of four we loved our stay here. The pool and the inflatables provided were a big hit. We spent most of our time in the sun room which is a great space to dine and relax. The house was ideally situated to explore the area including Arcachon, Bordeaux and Dune de Pilat. Kitchen is very well equipped, and the welcome wine and local sweet treats provided by the host Sebastian were much appreciated. Good communication throughout.

Tranquille, bonne situation par rapport à l'ensemble du bassin d'Arcachon et proche de Bordeaux, maison très bien équipée, bien agencée et , il n'y a plus qu'à poser ses valises

Ein traumhafter Urlaub!
Das Haus entsprach genau den Bildern; es war genauso gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und wir fühlten uns gleich wie zuhause. Jedes Zimmer hatte durch die individuelle Dekoration seinen eigenen Charme. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, alle Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs waren vorhanden. Auch war alles gepflegt und sauber. Sébastien war ein toller Gastgeber, er begrüßte uns sogar mit einem kleinen Gastgeschenk.
Besonders hervorzuheben ist der beheizte Pool im schönen Garten mit der tollen Terasse. Wir haben es geliebt, ihn täglich zu nutzen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt geeignet für Ausflüge rund um das Bassin d´Arcachon. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Une très agréable maison

Belle maison grand confort, au calme, très bien équipée, avec piscine chauffée et un joli jardin. Parfait pour se reposer et pour découvrir le Bassin d'Arcachon. Très bon accueil et disponibilité du propriétaire.

Séjour agréable
15 jours dans un calme absolu, la maison est reculée de la route aucun bruit de voiture. Une vraie grande piscine et une très belle maison. Un accueil chaleureux merci Sebatien

Très Belle Maison au calme
C'est une belle maison au calme idéale pour des vacances reposantes.
Il ne manque rien, tous les équipements nécessaires sont présents aussi bien dans la cuisine, les chambres ou la salle de bain, rien ne manque.
Spacieuse, chacun peut avoir un petit coin à soi….
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison en famille et la piscine chauffée à 28° est juste parfaite….

Un sejour inoubliable
Sebastien a su conserver une deco tres chaleureuse et s'est montre tres accueillant et aidant. C'est une maison effectivement zen avec du bois, de la lumiere, de l'espace tres bien organise, une belle piscine, des livres pour tous les gouts et tout ce qu'il faut.

I visited with my wife and two daughters (aged 7 and 9) in the last week of August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can say it was the best rental we have ever had. The house was well decorated, maintained and had everything we needed and had a really nice feel, we didn't really want to go out!
The listing description was extremely good, no surprises or disappointments and Rebecca provided excellent customer service from the first enquiry to our departure, ringing us very promptly after we had left to let us know we had left something behind, so we were able to get back and accepting our very late arrival with extremely good grace.
It's a really nice area and plenty to do - our only regret was that we didn't have bikes with us - there were miles of beautiful bike tracks in the area, which we would have loved to cycle through.
I would definitely recommend this rental.

Apart from the holiday season, the house is the residence of the owner so everything you can imagine is present in the house. The house is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. It was nice and clean when we arrived. We felt at home immediately. The privacy in the garden is amazing! Villa Zen is really the correct name for this place. Rebecca, the owner, was very friendly. Nice to know that she stays only 10 minutes away. Whe did not need her though, because everything was just perfect and working well.
This is so much better than a small holiday house with standard equipment and maintenance. We really loved it! We thought so much about this house the week after, when we stayed in such a "standard apartment" in Bayonne!
Yes, it cost a lot of money, but if you can afford it: compared to other accomodations it is worth it.
There is really nothing negative to report about this house.
The only suggestion we could consider is a little bit more atmospheric light outside in the evening. (in the pool f.i.). That would be the finishing touch.
Biganos itself is very quiet. Bucherie only 5 minutes away for fresh bread in the morning. Very nice to visit the small harbour. The cycle path al around the Bassin d''Arcachon is excellent. In Arcachon take the ferry to Cape Ferret. It is a nice journey. Very nice to cycle on that side and the oysters are delicious .

Nous avons loué cette maison à 6 et y avons passé une très bonne semaine: la maison est très bien conçue avec les chambres d'un côté et les pièces à vivre de l'autre. Elle est également très bien équipée. Le jardin est très agréable car au calme et nous avons également bien profité de la piscine et de la grande terrasse. Les photos permettent de se faire une réelle image de la maison. L'accueil par la propriétaire fut très chaleureux.

Nous avons passé une semaine à 5 dans cette maison très confortable, bien équipée et calme, du fait de sa position en seconde ligne.

Excellent Sejour
Nous avons passé 1 semaine à 2 familles dans cette magnifique maison à Biganos où le séjour fut des meilleurs. Maison très agréable, piscine formidable, de belles chambres. La maison en retrait de la rue est un plus car aucun bruit ne vient perturber le sejour.
