Fabulous stay in a stunning palazzo!
Absolutely beautifully restored palazzo in the centre of Nardo’, We were blown away by the tranquil, historic surroundings and the magic of the place. It has a rustic rooftop terrace with fabulous views and the room was spotlessly clean. The hosts Debbie and Darrel were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the whole local area including restaurants and beaches too. Nothing was too much trouble for them but on the same hand they were very discreet too. We felt we had the whole palazzo to ourselves. We would highly recommend Palazzo Cariddi and will definitely be back!

The most magical stay in a hidden gem of a city
This place is nothing short of magical — truly! I'd never heard of Nardo before planning this trip to Puglia, and I'm so glad we decided to stay here for two nights (and I would have stayed for a week, if I could). This property is stunning, and the location is perfect — just off the main square on a quiet, tucked-away street. Debbie was a very welcoming hostess, telling us all about the building (the rooftop deck is perfect for a nightcap) and all the work she and her husband put into it. And our room really showed the love and effort they put into this place. It may be the loveliest place I've ever stayed. The bed is so comfortable, the bathroom is clean and modern, and the room itself looks regal. I'm just trying to figure out a way to get back to Nardo as soon as possible!
There's absolutely nothing I can think of :) it was a delight from start to finish!

Good
The hosts are very friendly. The location is fantastic, they gave us great restaurant recommendations which we really appreciated and help finding free parking. - the hotel does not have parking. The rooms are lovely high ceiling spaces, The hosts are very friendly and the place is clean and well run.
I felt there could have been more attention to detail, cushions on the terasse, plants, a glass of wine or water on arrival. Little things like that to make people feel at home.

Wonderful stay at Palazzo Cariddi
Both the accommodation and the hosts are incredible. The Palazzo is a real palace, graciously recently renovated. You really live the experience of staying not just in a hotel, but in an actual centuries-old building. The panoramic terrazza is amazing too. The hosts are a British couple who are really cool and nice persons. They welcome you in a very warm and familiar way. They even give you ideas of what to visit and where to eat around.
Nothing. Everything was great.

Exceptional
Staying in Palazzo Cariddi was definitely one of the highlights of our road trip through Puglia. The place is so beautifully renovated and decorated. The high ceilings, the comfortable beds, the spacious bathroom, the view from the roof deck, the perfect host Debbie, words cannot describe how lovely this place is. And then there's the town of Nardò, which we totally fell in love with too. Debbie gave us great recommendations for restaurants, the best food we had in Italy. We really cannot wait to come back!
