This property is gorgeous & well equipped for a large family gathering. Anything we thought of that we might need was there for us to use to prepare for an early Thanksgiving celebration. Most areas were very clean but there were a few questionable marks on walls that we easily wiped off just for our own asthetic enjoyment.
We loved going down to the water and playing in the sand on their pristine beach area. We also had quite a bit of fun rolling down the well manicured lawns on the hill behind the house leading down to the lake. :-D
A few things did need repair (garage door lift, exhaust fan for kitchen range, tile on master tub, bent curtain rods, etc.) but nothing that was a deterent to us fully enjoying our time there & perhaps just normal things that may need to be addressed after a long busy season of diligently hosting a plethora of guests.
It was a little difficult to check in when we arrived as the entry procedures were not clear (we finally found the tiny lockbox nestled on the side of the back patio steps but some directions would have been helpful). The property management staff were very friendly in trying to help us figure out how to get in.
My son left his favorite stuffed animal in the bedding and we didnt realize until we were back home but the property management staff helped to find the item and it is currently in transit back to us. We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay at such a lovely location & feel so well taken care of!

We enjoyed our stay at this home, but it has some issues that need to be addressed. The space itself is great - big, open common areas, good-sized bedrooms, lots of bathrooms. And situated right on Lake Anna with a beautiful view! But when we arrived, the house was pretty unclean. I walked into cobwebs multiple times when first exploring the home. The floors were sticky. The carpets were dirty. There was a comb left out from a previous tenant. And multiple parts of the house are damaged or broken - doors, tiles, cabinets, etc. I would recommend this place given a better cleaning and some repairs.

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved boat ramp and dock, the porches fire pit and cement patio. The two refrigerators adequate toiletries. The child locks on doors and gates on porch. There was need of some TLC, a little more cleaning would have been good. Broken glass on porch and charcoal and nats everywhere. Overall it was good. Would stay here again. Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful home. Thanks Dennis

Great house overall. We had some minor concerns going in due to some of the comments, but we found the house to be very exceptional, outside of the kitchen and side screen porch. Basement was incredible. Big tvs everywhere where we could stream apps and play video games. Great pool table. Side screen porch was very dated with some dirty furniture and not very appealing. But no one used it and we spent a lot of time inside or at the lake instead. Kitchen was small and difficult for so many people to make meals at the same time. But again, the rest of the house made up for it. Comfortable beds throughout. A lot of bathrooms and showers. One bunk room with wooden furniture was a little rickety and non-solid, and would not support some of our larger family members. Lake was great with a little beach area where the older folks would sit and watch the kids and water sports. The usable part of the dock was small and not what we were used to (larger docks with chairs and shade, etc). It was only a small (usable) strip of a dock and did not allow for any sitting really (no shade and just a little room). But the location on the lake was exceptional (we could jet ski right off the dock without any no-wake zones), with the water being nice. So that made up for a less than stellar, usable dock. Overall we were very happy with our stay. However, one note I'd make. When the weather is off or cold, there is not much to do in lake anna. No movie theater. No escape room. Not much for kids outside of the lake and water sports. When we go other places like the beach and have a cold or rainy day (we had 2 and 1/2 here), we can always find things to do in the surrounding area. Not the case in Lake Anna. Not any issue with the house or property... just something to know!

The location was nice. The house needs alot of tlc. Spider webs on ceilings in kitchen, screened porch and deck. lack of cleanliness, furniture very is outdated and worn. I called a few times to have the grass cut. It was finally cut on Thursday. Overall not a great 1st time experience with Vacasa.

"Paradise" was a nice home on beautiful Lake Anna. This home was a perfect size for our Family Reunion of 22 people. Three bunk rooms were perfect for two families with children and another for young adult girls. Plenty of full bathrooms, which was a plus. Boat house with dock and beach area was great. We rented a pontoon and was able to dock it right on the property. There was a kayak to use on the dock also. Beach area was great for small children to play in the sand and have fun in the shallow water. House was clean but some areas needed a little TLC. The railing on the upper deck off the kitchen needed to be secured, garage refrigerator was lacking some shelves and didn't keep beverages cool, the screened in porch needed a good cleaning. We did encounter two small issues which were resolved immediately. A/C was great and we alway had plenty of hot water. All in all the house was a perfect place for enjoying family and making memories!!

Overall, a good large house with easy access to the lake. Our group had 17 people and we had lots of space, most bedrooms have their own bathroom. There is a bit of a downhill hike to the lake - maybe a 3 minute walk. Good boat ramp if you have your own boat. Major negative: weak wi-fi service ... varied from slow to unusable. A large house should expect *many* users.

Location is great. Perfect area for swimming and tubing because there’s not too much boat traffic. However, we could not tie up our rental pontoon boat to dock bc no cleats. A few chairs on dock would be nice. Sand area was unusuable. . Overgrown with weeds and John boat parked there. Patio and fire pit were great…nice privacy and beautiful view. Grill worked but only had high settings. Party signs still hanging from previous guests so it seemed like the house was not checked over between guests. Deck and screened in porch are in poor shape. Didn’t even sit on porch because it was so dirty. Furniture missing cushions, etc.
Basement area is great for hanging out but pool balls missing, rack broken. Not sure why there are 2 bathrooms in basement and no bedrooms down there. This means that 2 bunk rooms don’t actually have access to bathrooms so listing can be misleading (each bedroom doesn’t have a bathroom)
Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms ok, but one shower door completely broken and unusable. Stains on carpet.
Kitchen: coffee makers had no coffee pots. This required a call to vacasa. They were very responsive and brought one within an hour. Kitchen had tons of pots but missing basics..no potholders, kitchen towels, measuring spoons. Double oven was nice. Freezer was frozen shut and drawers in fridge broken. Most dishes had to be cleaned before using.
We paid over $1000/night and quality was not worth that. With a few updates and overall cleaning, this house has potential. Wouldn’t stay again. Wifi was terrible. Don’t mind not having too much phone time, but we couldn’t do a few basic things like calling for boat rentals. We left it cleaner than we found it so hopefully the next guests have a good experience.

Needs some TLC. We didn't utilize the screened porch area. The furniture there needs a good power washing. All and all, the house was perfect. Thx for the awesome weather as well......

I would not rent this house again. First I asked for a later check out time instead of 10:00 we wanted to stay an extra 2 hours and was denied. My group of 13 women ages 75 and above would like to have taken their time Sunday morning; not have to hurry and get out of the house that early. Then I was offered to rent the house for an extra night (Sunday night), so I asked again about checking out a little later and was denied again. I was told not to check into the house before 4 even if I got there 15 minutes early, I was to sit in my car and wait. This service to me was unbelieveable.
The house was not clean. Light bulbs over the stove were greasy with bugs stuck to the bulb. We actually took them down and washed them. The screened in porch furniture was filthy. Toilet paper holder in powder room was broken. Chair in kitchen was broken.
On the plus side; there was not enough silverware for 13 people, I let the local agent know and she delivered extra silverware in about 20 minutes. The house has a fantastic view of the lake.

Our family had a wonderful time in Paradise! We recommend it highly. We had 8 adults, an 18-year old, and 9 children ages 18 months to 12 years of age. There was plenty of room and fun for all. We brought our boat and kayaks, and we rented a jet ski. We went skiing, knee boarding, jet skiing, kayaking, and swimming. There was a shallow area for young children to play in the sandy (and some clay) bottom. The water also got deeper for people to swim near the dock and jump off the end of the dock. Although the water wasn’t very clear (it was August so it may have been clearer earlier in the summer) we felt comfortable swimming in it.
The screened in porch area as well as the outdoor deck provided a lot of extra room for eating and sitting. The lawn was in good shape for playing lawn games when we arrived, and it was also quickly cut during the week making bocce ball and croquet (brought from home) fun. The nice open area made star gazing and looking at the full moon fun, especially with a telescope.
There was a lot of room to spread out to play games and sit around inside. We played board games from home and some limited video games on the TV. The TV wasn’t used much but it seemed to have good reception. We also found time for crafts and sewing, and a treasure hunt.
The kitchen was well equipped. I think there were 5 coffee makers 😀. The island and kitchen set up made it easy for several people to cook together as well as leaving passage for others to walk through. There was a refrigerator in the kitchen, downstairs in the lower game area, and one in the garage so there was plenty of room for food supplies. It was also very convenient to buy food at the local Food Lion. The prices were good, not high like you might expect in more commercial areas.
The Internet was slow or poor, partly due to a cloudy week, but we saw this as a plus for Paradise. A slower Internet encouraged people to spend more time together and explore some different means of family entertainment inside as well as outside. Most of the people had good cell coverage; however, with T Mobile, I had no bars inside and only 1 or 2 bars outside.
Paradise is a great location for a relaxing and fun group get away and we were all glad we were able to experience it.

The house is on a beautiful part of the lake - sunset views are wonderful. Big plus that they have their own boat ramp. A two-bay covered boat house was perfect for our group. Having three full refrigerators was also a great feature. This really could be a gem if the house were better maintained. Needs a lot of updating, cleaning and extermination (ants).
Note that there is a steep hill going down to the dock. It is not easy access for older family members (or me as I had pain/ weakness from a recent broken leg). The 'sand beach' is misleading - it's a small square area that needs a new load of sand (currently not enough for kids to play in).
The lower level is great for large families to gather and hang out: pool table, game table, bar (with refrigerator), tvs - with easy access outside.
The bathrooms were well cleaned and had good toiletries provided.
Air conditioning worked well during a hot week.
Renters: Bring folding chairs for the dock and fire pit area. Also, fire wood if you plan to have a fire (not provided). We also brought a party tent that we set up on the dock for shade as there is no covered area on the dock if you are hanging out by the water.

The home was perfectly clean and fresh with an abundance of towels and toiletries, the boat dock was equipped with some floaties and enough paddles to use the kayak and rowboat, we got lucky with the weather as it was sunny and warm every day during our stay. The grill and fire pit were easy to use. One shower head and the TVs were not working upon our arrival, but maintenance fixed it the same day without even having to disturb us at the lake. The WiFi is spotty as to be expected but it’s nice to unplug. Great location, just a few minutes from the cove and shopping center. The views are to die for especially from the master bathroom and patio. Would love to come again if they weren’t fully booked for summer!
