Dare Street Beach Apartment is a great place for a family holiday or just a quiet retreat for a romantic weekend getaway. Just 1 minute walk will get you to the main street where you will find everything you need, from award winning restaurants, cafes, retail shops, post office, pharmacy, supermarket and more. A 2 minute stroll in the opposite direction will get you to Ocean Grove's surf beach where you can take a dip or walk or ride along the scenic paths to the Dunes Cafe or to the river at Barwon Heads. This apartment offers 2 bedrooms on the first level. The main bedroom offers a brand new King Sized bed in a spacious room with ample bench space, a large wardrobe and TV with a DVD player. Sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the warm summer breezes with a view towards the main street, and Barwon Heads. Upstairs also host the bathroom and separate toilet. The Second bedroom contains a bunk bed with single on top, double bed on bottom and a pull out single trundle. Enough for the whole family. Check out the Ocean view from the back room and see if the surfs up! Down stairs there is a north facing courtyard to catch the winter sun. A 'cosy' lounge with a comfortable couch and two large chairs. The lunge has a large flat screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player and Telstra TV with FREE Netflix and STAN. The brand new kitchen is small but functional so you can cook your own meals, with full size fridge and microwave. The dining area offers seating for 5 adults over looking the rear courtyard and backyard. The dining room also includes a 'european' laundry with new washer and dryer. Relax outside on the deck, as the kids play on the grass in the fenced back courtyard. Both floors have NEW split level heaters, air conditioners fitted for your comfort. There are inbuilt twin USB docking stations on each level, so all you need is your cable to charge your smartphones, cameras, headphones, GPS's etc. The apartment has NBN (National Broadband Network) WiFi supplied by Telstra for all your internet needs. Conveniently located near shops, 2 mins walk from the beach and well equipped apartment with everything you need during your stay. I was pleasantly surprised with what the premises came with and so organised. They have thought of everything. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family thinking of spending time in the area. WELL DONE!

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is perfectly located one small block from the Main Street, it is so easy to walk to the supermarket, bakery, restaurants and shops, plus an easy, but longer walk to the beach. Our Ranger ute fitted into the parking space in the backyard. There is nothing we could fault.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay at this lovely and very comfortable unit, which was sparkling clean and equipped with all conveniences, from modern kitchen and bathrooms to a barbie on the deck out the back. The position is very good, just a short stroll both down to the beach and to the town centre with shops and restaurants. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful, when there was a tiny mix-up with the key box at the entrance when we checked in. We can highly recommend Dare St Beach Apartment!

We’ve previously stayed at Dare St Beach Apt and thought wow, it couldn’t get any better … surprisingly it does after such a clever & thoughtful renovation adding bathroom downstairs genius… plus new bathroom upstairs and the bonus bedroom… makes an already excellent property shine brighter. Location is hands down the best for a stay in OG … you couldn’t ask for more.

Best beach holiday!

Hi, being going to this property basically every Australia day weekend for many years, great location, town is wonderful, clean and very tidy property, recent renovation are great and looking forward to staying there again in near future

Great property
This is the second time our family of 4 has stayed at this property and it was just as good as the first time. The location is fabulous and the addition of the second bathroom and extra bedroom are great improvements. This property has everything you need for a lovely beach holiday.

This property is in a fantastic walkable location to beach and shops and restaurants. It was very clean and recently renovated. The addition of the third bedroom was much welcomed although it is very small so a fan in there would be very useful, we didn’t use this bedroom the last night cos it was too hot in there. We were missing a few things such as a sharp knife in the kitchen, face washers, more teatowels (there was one), and top sheets for the single beds. All small things. Also an umbrella for the outside table would be great to protect from the sun out there. It was great having Netflix and Stan on two TVs.

Fab Location
Enjoyed the stay with hubby and our 2 kids. Awesome location, walking distance to everything for breaky, lunch n dinner and a 3 min walk to a coffee shop, down the road (Beach Hut). Blackmans Brewery Bar was great for dinner for all ages ( 3min walk) great food and beverages for the parents ;)
Apartment was cosy, bed a little on the harder side, and we realised all the cups, plates, bowls were still in dishwasher as we were leaving, but that didn't hinder our stay or review. Would def stay again for the great location and the great hospitality of the owner.

Great Location
The property is situated in a great location close to the shops and beach, all within eassy walking distance. You could not fault the cleanliness or the facilities. Parking in the street can prove to be troublesome, especially if you have more than one vehicle.

Great location close to the beach and shops. Set up very well and with all that was required. The north facing balcony for reading in some Autumn sunshine, was great. We plan to visit again sometime.
