This property was quaint and cottage like with enough sleeping and living space for a sizeable group. Would recommend the property for any type of getaway in any season and great ownership interaction.

Our family of 8, plus 2 of our dogs, enjoyed this cozy cottage. The house has everything you could need, plenty of comfy seating, and a fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Outside, there is a beautiful view of Keuka lake, and a really nice, long dock to enjoy it from. We weren’t there during swimming season, but if we would have been, there is also a ladder near the end of the dock for entering and exiting the lake. There is some green space across from the house (the road the house sits on is only traveled on by residents, so actually more like being on a lane than a road) for the dogs. Location is great. Right off a main route where wineries and restaurants are located. Keith is a personable, accommodating host who has a lot of knowledge about the area and it’s history. We had a great stay Keith, Thank you!

Fun unique cabin feel location. Cozy feel, smaller rooms, but comfortable. Some areas shorter ceiling, if you are very tall. Lots of stuff in the cabinets for things you would need. An amazing view! We had a great time!

We gathered at Keith's place to celebrate the life of my late wife and could have not asked for a better location. Beautiful view of Keuka Lake and close to all the wineries and eating spots. Keith was a great host, he checked in on us day one to ensure all was well, and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this location.

Great boat dock, dogs loved swimming, family paddle boarded, gorgeous sunset views.
Keith was very friendly and helpful with any questions.

Cottage was old fashioned but clean and pleasant. Owner was very nice and easy to speak with. No complaints from us.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at No Such Place. The upstairs balcony and dock are where we spent a majority of our time soaking up the views. Close enough to the Switz that we could sit outside and hear the live music each night without having to deal with Labor Day crowds. Multiple breweries, wineries and shops in the area.
Great place to bring your pups. There are tons of walking trails nearby as well as a pretty large dog park 8 minutes down the road. Our dogs love water but won’t jump directly off a dock. The shoreline was perfect for them to wade in the water and splash around.

We spent as much time outside as we could on the beautiful dock taking in the views. The camp was very cozy and well equipped, having two fridges was very convenient. We had nine people total so all bedrooms were used but it never felt overcrowded. We spent mornings on the upper patio; and when we couldn’t have a fire at night, we sat on the lower covered patio. The location is great, the private road was nice for taking our toddler and dog for walks without worrying about any traffic. We walked and even kayaked to the Switz a few times. Wineries, breweries, and Eggleston Glen were just a short drive away. Keith was always available, very attentive, and quick to answer our questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Period-style cottage that reminds me of those I stayed in as a kid in the 50s. So fun! A couple of nights we had a very full house (10! including a toddler & 2 babies), but were gone a lot during the day, so it worked out fine. If you plan or need to stay home a lot during your visit, I agree with Keith that 7 is pretty much max. The best part was taking our morning coffee to the dock, watching the sun rise, the ducks swim, the osprey and herons fish. Keith is an awesome, attentive host!

No such place was a great place for my family to stay for our annual trip to Keuka Lake. Our favorite thing was the second story deck over looking the lake! The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities for cooking, eating, and storing any leftovers. Keith was very helpful and responsive for our stay and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. We would stay here again and recommend to anyone looking!

This is a great location. House is clean and the second refrigerator a huge help with a larger family. Washer and dryer in the house (not in a shed) and dishwasher big help as well. Will come back for sure.

It was a great weekend to get the family together to catch up and have some fun. Lots to do in the area or just stay put at the house and enjoy all that is offered. The view was great and enjoyed the evenings by the bon fire. Even the dogs enjoyed the water.

My goodness, where do I start. First of all, the host Keith is first class. He made everything so easy from check in through check out. The house is right on the lake. The dock is large and is the centerpiece of the property. The house has a brand new propane BBQ so make sure you bring some groceries. The kitchen has all the cooking tools required as well as a good coffee machine that takes Keurig pods as well as ground coffee. All the spices you would need are there but bring condiments for hot dogs, burgers, etc.
The house itself is rustic but totally functional. The master bedroom on the main floor is amazing with views of the lake. There were only 3 of us but the house can easily accommodate 6 adults.
It’s still pre-season for another few weeks so a few local restaurants were closed but Hammordsford is only 12 min away by car and actually worth a visit.
We will definitely be back. What an amazing place No Such Place is.

We rented this VBRO for a weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday. It exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect with everything that you would need for a few meals at home and hanging out at night with a fire. We hiked Watkins Glen Gorge trail which was only a 25 minute drive and explored wineries, beer hall and the distillery near by. We ate at the Switz for dinner one. All within a short walk. The view and quietness of the lake just made the weekend magical. Will be recommending this property to family and friends.

No Such Place is great! The house has the comfortable feel of a summer lake house, even at the end of October! Spectacular lake and foliage views, perfect sunrises and sunsets, mornings on the upstairs deck with a coffee in one hand and a book in the other, and afternoons on the dock with wine. Keuka's water is crystal clear, so jump right in! The railed upstairs deck off the main bedroom/dining area was a perfect, safe spot for our dog to enjoy being outside. Keith, the host, is super-friendly and easily accessible for questions before and during your stay. He's also an author, so there are plenty of good, fun reads at the house. Since there were only 2 of us in the house, we didn't need to use the upstairs at all, but the house could easily and comfortably accommodate a much larger group--there's plenty of space for larger families or a group of friends to spread out, relax, and enjoy your time here.

We wanted to escape to the Finger Lakes and found a place named, “No Such Place,” a name which made us laugh! It had an awesomely gorgeous dock, an incredible 3-branch view of the lake, an amazing fire pit on the beach, and a small, wooded area to walk our dog in. The blacktop driveway parking was great, and convenient for loading and unloading; the swimming area was walk-out to the end of the dock; the automatic power boat lift inside the boat house worked out perfectly for our new boat, and there was a safe place on the property to store our trailer. There was even a boat launch ramp only a half mile north. How cool is that. Keith, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the lake’s history, as well as the best restaurants to dine at or visit, including most of the over twenty-five wineries and brewery’s along Keuka’s beautiful shoreline. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and it had a nostalgic comfort to it that took me back to the time when I was a little girl. Keith is always working on it and making it better, but I cautioned him on making it too modern because we loved its nostalgic look and feel, and I think it has that wonderful combination of je ne sais quoi that makes people feel so wonderful when they are there. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with and is totally functional. I loved the old natural gas stove and antique sink. I begged Keith not to get rid of them. We can’t wait to come back again, and we highly recommend No Such Place to all. We are still laughing about the name and wondering, was it a dream, or did we really stay at, No Such Place…!

We so enjoyed our three days at No Such Place! The views are insane and the sunsets and sunrises alone were worth the trip from Virginia. The home is centrally located with quaint shops, restaurants and as many wineries and breweries as you can possibly fit in over a weekend. The owner is extremely responsive and a pleasure to meet and chat with. The home is nostalgic, but clean and is a true lake cabin. I would recommend a stay at No Such Place.

Keith’s place was perfect for our stay. Kids had fun, and we all liked the antique items he has carefully preserved in this house for a nice feel for the guests. He was responsive when we reached out to him and was helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Most of my girlfriends are still single and all of us are former college athletes. We remember the days when it seemed easy to stay in shape for varsity volleyball, soccer, and tennis. But now that we all have good jobs and some of us are married with kids, keeping our trim is not as easy anymore. But we still get together at various places every year as a group to retell stories of our glory days, as well as to drink some wine, and laugh as much as possible. This year we found, “No Such Place” in the Finger Lakes on gorgeous and magical Keuka Lake - and we can’t wait to go back there again because it was our kind of place. It offers everything we wanted and needed; like a long beautiful permanent dock to do our morning stretches and work-outs on; a place where Kayaks can be delivered and picked up at, right from the dock; a place where riding your bike, running or swimming a few miles is enhanced by incredible views, and inspiring moments together around the beach campfire. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and complete with everything we needed. The property is safe and partially secluded on a private road right on the beach. The owner, Keith, also single and a former athlete, was so helpful and quickly available if we had any questions. Our group decided to stay at No Such Place again next year, (but next time we will stay for a lot longer). We highly recommend No Such Place. - It’s Our Kind of Place…!

This house has to have one of the prettiest views on Keuka lake . We could sit on the dock and look at the bluff, and all 3 legs of the Y
We were there on 98 degree index days . The good news was the AC could keep
Up, and kept the inside of the cottage comfortable
The bad news was when we checked in ,
the interior of the house was 88 degrees, and none of the AC units were on. When we arrived.
It took over 8 hours to get the house to 73 degrees
My suggestion would be for the cleaning crew to leave the AC set for 76 degrees, so if renters want it colder, the AC can adjust quickly .
The house is in need of some updating , and Keith is going to redo the kitchen this winter
That will make the house great . The kitchen
Is functional, but does not have the flow and counter space of a modern house.
We grilled every night, so the kitchen worked for us.
I can’t wait to see the updated kitchen for our trip back next July!
This cabin has lots of rustic charm !

Wonderful Week on the Lake!
What a Wonderful week our family had on the lake at No Such Place. The Beautiful views from the decks and inside the house were breathtaking!!! We enjoyed swimming in the lake, grilling out and relaxing. We took many pictures of the Gorgeous sunsets, which we intend on framing one of them!
The location was perfect! We drove to Watkins Glen State Park and hiked to the top - all 832 steps! That was the most Beautiful hike we have ever gone on!!!! We also did Wine tasting at Dr. Frank's Winery - which we highly recommend! Also, we enjoyed walking around the town of Hammondsport!
We had a Wonderful week and if we go back to the Finger Lakes we would definitely stay here again!

Keuka Lake Nostalgic Cottage
The lake and views define this experience. My husband and I along with our 2 grandchildren, ages 7 and 5, and dog, Koda, enjoyed our stay at Keith's cottage on Keuka Lake. It is as described: a rustic cottage reminiscent of bygone days that were simpler and focused on outdoor experiences on the lake. If you are looking for the latest interior updates and state of the art kitchen, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quaint, rustic, nostalgic lake cottage experience, do not hesitate to book. The lake views north, west and south are inspiring. We were fortunate enough to have cooler nights and enjoyed open windows and the soothing sounds of waves lapping at the shale beach to lull us to sleep.Nothing better. The dock was spacious and provided a great place to read a book, fish or have a sunset cocktail. Be aware that you must bring your own drinking water as the water source for the cottage is filtered lake water. Perfectly fine for bathing and washing but recommended that you bring your own drinking water. There are 2 refrigerators so plenty of room for beverages. Overall a wonderful visit that recalled fond memories of our own childhoods on the Finger Lakes. Happy to have shared it with our grandchildren.

We stayed two nights (Sun - Tue) in late May with lots of unforgettable excitement in memories: Lots of fishing just at the motorboat deck of the cottage from the early morning to 11am and from near the sunset to late at night. We caught so many sunfishes, catfishes, trouts(?) and unknown fishes. The best site for catfishes is near a nest hole below the middle of motorboat lift. The other enjoyment is the campfire: Staying at very late night with lots of fun and peaceful time and chatting with life stories, surrounding the campfire after the fishing. Keith was also very nice to provide some firewoods for the campfire. Also, enough size grill outside, equipped with two propane gas tanks, for yummy and delicious steak, bbq, pork, chicken. One more thing to add: Nearby is the gorgeous Watkins Glen State Park for hiking along the creek-side trails. FULL of FUNS and ECITEMENTS for LIFE-LONG MOMORIES!

There are lots of wineries close by – Heron Hill and Dr. Konstantin Frank had some very nice wines. Watkins Glen State Park gorge trail is a spectacular walk and if you don’t feel like cooking, the Switzerland Inn (The Switz) is within walking distance from the cottage for dinner, drinks and live music.
