About this cottage rental
Located in Marion, this charming cottage for $328 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This endearing, completely renovated, cozy beach house has everything you need to relax & have fun. It's located in the Parkwood Beach Association, which is a small private community surrounded by beaches, complete with tennis & basketball courts (coming soon), and kids can play on the swings & the jungle gym at the nearby park. This Cozy Cottage also has a small desk area and WIFI if you need to do a little work while on vacation!! Hopefully you'll be using the WIFI to binge watch your favorite shows more than doing work!! THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA GUEST FEE OF $20 PER/NIGHT PER EXTRA GUEST. This delightful cottage is right on the waterway that leads into the ocean. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, outside shower, a back porch with a grill and a fire pit. Relax while you enjoy all the new amenities, which includes beds, pillows, sheets, beach towels, bath towels, blowdryer and plenty of outside eating & sitting areas. You will be extremely comfortable with a ceiling fan in every room along w/ brand new, state-of-the art, heating & air-conditioning system. Please feel free to use the washer & dryer in the basement along with the kayak, bikes, and other outside games. The Master bedroom has a water view, TV, a full bed, closet and 2 dressers. The 2nd bedroom has 2 bunk beds, that sleeps 6, 3 dressers, and a Trunk full of board games, cards, and toys. The bright, sunny, open concept kitchen has a breakfast nook with an adjustable table that can seat 8. The kitchen has a granite bar with 4 bar stools for extra dinning. The living room has a sectional couch that pulls out into a full bed for extra guests. The 65 inch flat screen TV is equipped with Dish Network, surround sound, a Wii console with plenty of games, DVD, VHS, and lots of movie selections there for your enjoyment. We also have a Smart TV with WIFI for set up onto your youtube, Netflix, or amazon account. You'll love this cute, quiet, home that's just a stroll to the private sandy beaches, which have docks for the kids to enjoy jumping & swimming. This is the perfect little beach house to fish, bike, walk to the beach, swim, boat, or just sit back and enjoy the view by the fire pit. My favorite thing to do is to take the kayak out to the ocean, from the water way in my back yard. We have plenty of room for parking, a boat trailer, or jets ski's. plus, we have a BOAT LAUNCH 1/4 mile from the house. It's Great for kids of all ages or anyone visiting schools in the area like Mass Maritime Academy or Tabor Academy. It's close to The Cape Cod Canal, Buzzards Bay, and 1/2 hour to catch all the ferry's to the islands of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard!! It's minutes from Water Wizz, the only water park on Cape Cod and 1/2 hour from Plymouth Rock or Providence, RI. Take a sunset Cape Cod Canal cruise from Onset Beach only miles away or go whale watching at a variety of locations within 30 minutes. It's just 1 hour from great sightseeing places like Boston and The Newport Beaches & Mansions. Whether you decide to be adventurous and explore the many attractions nearby, or you just want to relax at the cottage and walk to the beach, you will be sure to have an incredible "No Stress" vacation.

This was a perfect spot! Beautiful views with ducks and herons visiting often. While we were there it rained relentlessly, but the inside was cozy with comfortable seating, a large screen tv for movies and a well planned kitchen for cooking anything (even had an electric griddle!) Within minutes of great restaurants, too! Enjoy your stay, we did!!

The Cotter's cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. Beautifully remodeled, very spacious (inside and out) and stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings Paddling on the river and lounging on the large deck were a couple of highlights. We would have loved more time to just hang out and relax. Easy parking and great communication from the host made for a wonderful overall experience.

Our family of 4 (kids 13 & 8) had a fantastic 4 night stay. The cottage was extremely clean and offered so many extras we hadn't experienced at other rental properties (small things like tissue paper- dish liquid, propane etc) proved for easy shopping. The outdoor decks were fantastic quiet for reading with loads of green space for playing catch. The water access and kayaks were perfect for the kids and with the narrow channel and low water levels- it was stress free for parents while kids paddled. The indoor space was fantastic- the 2 sets of themed double bunks were a hit and our family enjoyed access to the abundance of outdoor toys and boardgames. We were a short drive to all the local attractions, beaches, water park and shopping. Kerri was a great host, great communication and easily to work with start to finish. Only thing we would change.... to have stayed longer :) Thank you!

Our summer stay at this cozy cottage was so special and so many memories were made. From the initial booking down to our check out Kari was more than accommodating. We were so happy with the location and did day trips to see the mansions in Newport Rhode Island and went to Martha’s Vineyard. We ate at so many delicious restaurants and enjoyed a fun evening at an old-school bowling alley/arcade. One of the highlights of the trip was taking the kayaks out during high tide. It was both exciting and relaxing, we saw fish, crabs and even a turtle. Sitting at the kitchen table looking out into the yard at the water is magical, the perfect start to the day with coffee as well as ending the day with a sunset and a cocktail. We all agreed that someday we would love to own a house here as well. We definitely want to visit again and are so grateful for such a wonderful vacation! -Emily R. & Family

What a cute, cozy house! Came for a girls weekend and this was a great spot for us to hang after a long day at the beach. Between the private community beach and Onset Beach (super close drive) we got our fill of sand and sun. The house was just as described and Kerri was an excellent communicator leading up to check in. Definitely recommend!

Kerri is an excellent host. The communication was great. The property was very clean and as described. It has great outdoor space and the location is great to explore the cape. It is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We would definitely rent from Kerri again.

We stayed at the cottage during April vacation. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The decorations were very lovely too. The cottage had everything we needed and it's close to shopping areas and restaurants. At the edge of Cape Cod with a short drive to lots of outings/activities. It sits right on the water which is very nice. The two things that could use improvement are issues with the heating units. We followed the directions on turning them on however, one went off line and it was chilly during our last night. Second, and this is nothing to do with the house/ owners, but one of the neighbors has 2 large dogs that kept barking all evening and during the night too. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and would stay here again and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Darling cottage in precious neighborhood! Well stocked with all essentials. Made easy day trips to Providence, RI and Boston. We will definitely come back during warmer weather to take advantage of the private beach and idyllic setting. Owners were beyond helpful and responded to questions within minutes. Can't recommend highly enough!

This is a clean, comfortable, and convenient home base for exploring the area around Buzzards Bay and the near Cape. Kerri was easy to talk to and the whole thing went well. I might go back in the warmer months to take more advantage of the outdoor amenities!

Cape Cotter is a wonderful vacation property that checks all the boxes from location (easy commute to Boston although traffic can be brutal); scenic & quiet (mesmerizing waterway views); to comfort (efficient heating/AC system for each room, very responsive hosts). The double bed and slim shower will probably be uncomfortable for guests taller than 5ft 7in! That said, my wife & I also enjoyed morning and evening strolls around the neighborhood, making good use of the numerous benches to take a breather & unwind after busy days playing tourist. Try Ella’s for delicious inventive meals and The Blueberry Muffin (Plymouth) for great muffins/breakfast.

I absolutely loved this cozy little home and so did other ladies that stayed with me. For our second night we planned to make tacos and i forgot my pans at home and this house had everything we needed. The neighbors were also friendly! We went to Shellpoint Beach and it was not crowded which was perfect.

We enjoyed staying in Kerri and Tom's house. Everything in it was well-organized, comfortable and very clean. The neighborhood is very friendly, which added to the benefit of being able to walk to the nice and family-friendly Parkwood Beach.

We enjoyed our stay even; with rain for half of our trip! The house is beautiful and well appointed! We sat outside often and enjoyed the water views and wildlife. You can't go wrong here!

We have some smaller kids and the first thing we did was put away many of the decorations that were lying on tables and window sills. This done, proceeded to have a nice time using the decent sized yard, large hammock, and abundance of games and toys in the basement. We also went kayaking most days, which was good this time of year, the kids really enjoyed that. We would come back.

Fantastic location with the kids, no traffic to worry about. Bunk bed room worked out perfect for the 4 kids. Solid recommendations on food also in the binder, we ordered from Ellas (great food) and went to Al’s tiki bar (great service & food). Plenty to do in the area but we enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit most of the time! Beautiful home, just like the pics and very nice neighbors too. We would certainly come stay again.

We enjoyed our impromptu getaway to this charming, beachy, freshly renovated cottage. Check-in was easy and our hosts were accessible and very responsive. It is definitely cozy - the four of us snuggled in for a few snowy days playing games, watching movies, and sitting by the fire pit, but I don't think I would try the maximum 10 guests unless we would be spending more time outside. All in all a great experience and we would not hesitate to come back.
