About this house rental
Nestled in Homer, this charming house for $362 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Ideally located in Homer's artsy city center. This fairly new 1200 sq. ft., two story, custom town home offer three bedrooms, two full baths and completely outfitted kitchen. With two bedrooms with king beds and private balconies, it is perfect for two couples exploring Alaska together. And with a petite bedroom with queen bed, it also accommodates a family or group of six easily. Master Bedroom Suite upstairs is soothing and spacious with King Bed, seating area, flat screen TV, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and private balcony. Second Bedroom upstairs also had King Bed, hardwood floors, and private balcony. Third Bedroom is downstairs, across from the second private bath and has a full size queen bed. Easy 4 minute walk to Homer's new wonderful Hornaday Park, museums, cafes, restaurants, and art galleries. Homer Old Town area is a short 10 minute walk, with multiple access points to Homer's sand beaches and Bishop's Beach area. Added amenity of complimentary Day Passes to the oceanfront Hot Tub and Huge Oceanfront Deck at the Homer Inn & Spa is also included. (Inquire with owner regarding use times.) Pets are welcome upon approval in writing via sure to check in with us first! There is a pet fee of $30 per pet, per day. We ask the pet owners to not leave the pet unattended, keep the pet downstairs only, and to make sure the pet stays off of the furniture. Other than, we trust our guests, and are easy! We loved our stay here. Bedrooms had super comfortable beds with huge closets to organize your luggage. Kitchen was well-equipped and had first-rate non-stick pans (a rare find in our experience). We cooked up some wonderful meals with the halibut we caught. Highly recommend.

Our experience started out fine reserving the house. As the rental date approached we received no check in information. 24 hours prior to checkin I tried messaging through the app, plus texting and calling the phone number with no response. Day of reservation I finally contacted VRBO and they couldn’t make contact either. So we made a six hour drive to Homer not knowing if we were cat fished or not and hoping we would have cell reception when we arrived. Got to house and there was a note pinned to door instructing is to call a cell number to gain access. No one answered for half an hour after checkin time! Just ridiculous treatment.

Six of us stayed a week. The check in process was great. Communication with the management was awesome. Our only complaint would be there was not a comfortable gathering area for our crowd.

Excellent small house, close to downtown
This property was a bit small for our group of 6 adults, and felt a bit impersonal, rather like a hotel room. The smell of cleaning products was overwhelming when we entered but it was fine after we aired it out. Sometimes that means that the place is not really clean but this place was clean and most of the furnishings were pretty new. The rooms were actually bigger and airier than I expected.
Kitchen was pretty minimalistic. No salt. Didn't really have an area where we could all hang out easily together but we rearranged chairs a bit to make it work. Information sheets left on the table need to be updated... restaurants have changed hours or closed during the pandemic.
Location is great, easy to walk to Pioneer Ave for restaurants and shops.

The property was clean but still cozy and inviting. Perfect location...easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Paul and Marilyn were easy to contact and it's clear that they want their guests to have a good stay. It was a special birthday weekend and we will have great memories. Dog friendly!

This property is in a great location and works well for several people! There's even another unit if you had a larger group than our 4! The property comes with the option to use the outside hot tub at a spa right on the water...it's gorgeous and worth it! The owners are fantastic and easy to contact. Highly recommend if you're in town.

Outstanding Location & people!
Location and cleanliness of property was outstanding for my family. Very close to neighborhood parks as well as very easy for us to get to everything (fishing, playgrounds, coffeehouse, shopping) we need.
The owners were incredibly flexible and very easy to work with and I HIGHLY recommend staying here instead of any hotel or other locations.
We will definitely be staying here again soon!

Super duplex
The owners would so considerate and professional. We appreciated the details. Never heard the guest in the other unit just saw the friendly folks in the convenient parking area. Unit was just as expected and perfect for our family of 4. I would stay again and highly recommend. Oh and close enough to walk to a few local establishments.
