The chalet, located on a private plot of 1000m², is ideally located at the foot of the ridges, between the lakes of Longemer and Retournemer and 10 minutes from the Alpine ski resort of La Bresse-Hohneck; the largest alpine ski resort in north-eastern France. We (family with three kids) spent a spring-week in the beautiful cottage. The owner could not be there, but we took the keys from a safe. It was very clean, when we arrived.
The kitchen is equipped with all you need. There are three sleepingrooms in the ground level, which are cooler than the first floor. So thats great to have a good sleep after a nice activity during the day. The cottage is situated between nice hills, that offer plenty of leisure in summer time: easy strolls to two nearby lakes or mountain hikes for experienced hikers only. For kids two summer sledges are close and another leisure place called wiidoogliss. Or you enjoy the view from the dining room or the large terrace, if you want wo stay at home.
Just the street behind the house might be a bit annoying for those who seek complete silence. And there is no wifi in the chalet, but a strong mobile connection.
Overall a really nice place, that you can book without hesitation, especially kids find a lot to do close by!

chalet très agréable idéalement situé
cette location a correspondu en tous points à nos attentes. nous avons profité de la grande terrasse qui donne sur un écrin de verdure entouré de sapins. l'intérieur du chalet est confortable et fonctionnel. nombreuses possibilités de randonnées à proximité de la propriété et emplacement idéal entre les lacs.
nous sommes ravis de cette expérience.

Sehr gemütliches Chalet
Wir haben dort ein verlängertes Wochenende zu 4 erwachsenen Personen verbracht und hatten problemlos Platz. 2 schöne Bäder, Küche gut bestückt, wunderbare Aussicht, eine sehr große geflieste Terrasse mit Tisch und Stühlen. Das freistehende Chalet liegt in der Nähe des Sees. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Vielen Dank!

Un Noël à la neige au calme dans un environnement où la nature parle d'elle même.
Un chalet très fonctionnel. Et quel bonheur de se réveiller face à cette immensité de pins et de neige. L'espace de vie est accueillant avec son poêle à bois qui accentu le côté cocooning. La cuisine est très bien équipée.
La partie nuit ainsi que ses deux salles de douches sont appréciables pour une grande famille. A réserver en toute tranquillité !

Excellent séjour dans ce chalet. Beaucoup de possibilités d'activités dans la région (par tous les temps) . Poêle à bois très efficace, jolies terrasses avec une vue très agréable. Propriétaire sympathique et disponible.

Chalet cosy au calme
grand chalet familial avec 3 chambres au rez de chaussée et pièces de vie à l'étage, y compris belle terrasse sur vue dégagée sur la montagne. Jardin avec barbecue. très confortable. très calme, personne autour c'est reposant ! chemin de randonnée direct depuis le chalet vers longerez ou retournemer. a 10 minutes des crêtes. Hote accueillant et disponible.

Juste parfait
Superbe chalet, sans vis-à-vis, au calme et idéalement placé pour les différentes visites de la région (Gérardmer, la Bresse, Col de la Schlucht, Hohneck ...)
Le propriétaire du chalet est une personne très conviviale, arrangeante et disponible.

Chalet bien situé, propre, très bonne literie ce qui est bien appréciable.
Nos enfants se sont régalés à jouer dehors au grand air!

Super chalet à fond enneigé :-)
Tout était parfait, cuisine bien équipée, cheminée poêle au bois donnant l'ambiance chalet et très belle vue sur la montagne et la neige. (A noter qu'une chambre est traversante, le ménage est à faire en fin de séjour et l'électricité est à payer en sus - tout cela bien acceptable quand on sait à l'avance...). Merci à Damien c'était extra

Tolles Chalet für unser Kurzurlaub
Auch wenn wir mit dem Wetter leider nicht so Glück hatten, war das Chalet genau wie beschrieben, sehr geschmackvoll und gut eingerichtet (sogar mit Raclette und Fondue) und das Ofenfeuer hat uns über das regnerische Wetter hinweggetröstet. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und hatten ausreichend Platz.

Hosts were very flexible and friendly. The place was really very comfortable, nice beds, great balcony. Ideal for families and nature lovers, lake nearby, cycling/hiking in the area is beautiful. We stayed for one week but could have stayed much longer.

Sehr schönes Haus, tolle Lage und freundliche Wirte
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem tollen Haus. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet, da fehlt nichts. Der Wohnraum mit dem sehr schönen Ofen lädt dazu ein gemütliche Abende dort zu verbringen. Das Bad ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die insgesamt 3 Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss sind ebenfalls geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet.
Als kleine Steigerungsmöglichkeit würde sich für die nicht-Französischen Gäste ein Fernsehempfang von Astra und vielleicht ein WLAN Zugang noch anbieten.
Aber auf jeden Fall ist das Haus eine Empfelung wert und wir werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen.

Nice chalet, great location, friendly owners
We have enjoyed our stay and the chalet. Great location, close to the slopes of La Bresse. Our kids have played in the garden and we loved the view that the house has over the hills.

Superbe !!
Notre séjour s'est merveilleusement bien passé ! Le cadre est magnifique et le chalet tout confort pour une famille comme la nôtre (2 adultes/2 enfants) : rien ne manque, il y a même un gros "plus" : l'accès libre au grand champs enneigé au pied de la maison...génial !! A quelques minutes en voiture des pistes (Lispach notamment) et de Gérardmer, ce gîte est idéalement situé. Le lac de Longemer n'étant pas loin non plus, nous reviendrons en été en profiter ! Pour finir, le contact avec les propriétaires a été fort sympathique et nous serions heureux de faire appel à eux à nouveau. Merci !

Unique place directly in mountains
We were really excited. Very nice cottage and very unique place between two lakes, close to montains, close to town...simply perfect. Ideal for activities like biking ..running..walking.. Our childern appreciated the garten very much. Plus owner is very open ..

Heerlijke wintersport week in de sneeuw
Mede door de sneeuw en het fijne huis hadden we een heerlijke skivakantie week. Het huis was zeer schoon en gezellig in kerstsfeer met de kerstboom nog. De houtkachel was heerlijk, soms zelfs te warm. hij is behoorlijk groot voor de ruimte. Enige nadeel was het 2 persoonsbed wat erg kort is en niet zo comfortabele kussens? Jammer dat slapen beneden is en de badkamer boven , maar we begrepen dat de tweede badkamer beneden er komt. Vriendelijke beheerders!

Chalet très chaleureux avec son poêle à bois et sa jolie vue sur la forêt. Très bien situé pour les activités extérieures. Je recommande. Attention toutefois à la facturation du chauffage électrique qui n'est comprise dans le prix initial.

Chalet très bien avec tout le nécessaire. Chambres bien fraîches quand il fait chaud dehors.
Très bon accueil. Propriétaires très gentils. Chalet propre et avec tout le nécessaire. Très bien placé, entre 2 lacs et près d'une rivière. Jolies balades à faire le long de la rivière et baignades possibles dans le lac. Bien place également pour les parcours à vélo (route et VTT).

Super séjour dans un chouette endroit
C'est déjà notre 2ème séjour dans ce joli chalet et nous y retournerons avec plaisir...accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires, soucieux de rendre un chalet propre à leurs locataires, bienveillants et disponibles si besoin est.
Le poêle est très agréable en soirée et apporte un côté chaleureux indéniable.
Le chalet est idéalement situé, à côté du joli lac de longemer et l'on peut se balader ici ou là dans la forêt qui nous entoure à pied ou à vélo, sans compter Gerardmer qui n'est vraiment pas loin.
C'est un endroit paisible où l'on trouve tout le confort nécessaire le temps d'une semaine, du matériel et une literie de bonne qualité...on s'y sent un peu comme chez soi...
A recommander sans hésitation et au plaisir pour nous d'y revenir!
