We stayed two weeks. For the first four days we had repair people in the house for hours each day and fielded multiple phone calls scheduling repairs and discussing issues which was not at all conducive to relaxing. The ice maker didn’t work and required several visits to fix. The built in gas grill which is in a covered area didn’t work requiring several visits by repair people who were in the pool area for several hours and finally in the second week they brought a stand alone grill which was not under cover and couldn’t be used on the two rainy days that followed its delivery. Newly installed high hat fixtures were dropping from the ceiling requiring repair visits. Most significantly, there was a thermostat issue on the first floor that rendered the first floor air conditioning inoperable for 4 days ( in Florida). On Friday the repair person was there for several hours than returned Saturday morning and promised he would return with the part to fix it that evening. He didn’t return on Saturday and it was quite warm in the house. No one called to explain the delay. I called Monday and finally on Tuesday it was fixed. One of the more nit picky things is that you have to pay an extra fee to heat the pool which is < 1% of the daily rental fee which seems petty and unnecessary. I emailed the office to ask if they could turn the pool heater on for the weekend and then followed up with another email and never received a response. By the time I realized no one had responded the office was closed. An added frustration is that there is no after hour service. On weekends and after five no one returns calls or emails. The answering service are told not to put through calls unless it’s an emergency such as a fire or flood. No pool heater was not deemed an emergency. Also the contact I was given repeatedly said “ I am not able to make that decision and will have my manager call you. Then the manager never calls. I don’t want to spend my vacation dealing with scheduling and accommodating repairs. We were offered one day refunded for the inconvenience. Owner should get a new management company.

Beautiful home in a great location
This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well appointed. We primarily chose this property for the pool, dock and beach access and that did not disappoint. We fished off the dock, swam in the pool, and enjoyed how close the house was to the beach. My only minor complaint is that the rental company does not provide adequate supplies (dishwasher pods, trash bags, etc) for the stay. For 7 days there were only 4 trash bags and 4 dishwasher pods, so we had to go buy those items. As someone with a rental property in another state with Vacasa, we supply adequate house supply of staples needed to maintain cleanliness of the home. Apart from that, we have no complaints! We would definitely stay here again!

Needing to escape Chicago's winter and Covid restrictions, we looked for a home to accommodate, and entertain, 4 adults and 6 kids. 510 Bayview was just about perfect. If anything, the vrbo pictures understate the home's best features. Inside was large enough for our group, while the outside was resort like. Pool is beautiful and pier access to inter-coastal canal was perfect for fishing, boating. I really looked forward to pool side bar, but rarely used it. Poorly designed and uninviting, unfortunately. The beautiful beach was a short 3 block walk. Anna Marie Island is low key, with an independent vibe. I could suggest finding space for kids, with ping pong, billiards, arcade games and the like, but no one was bored for 10 days. The management company was quickly responsive to our few inquiries. Looking to book this home later in 2021.

There were minor flaws but the rental company was fast to send someone out to fix. They charged extra to heat the pool. For the price i thought that should have just been included. Great house in a perfect location.
