The condo is beachfront, super easy access to the beach and water and all of the resort amenities. Comfy beds and very clean. Location is on the East end, so quieter and away from the crowds, but there is a grocery across the street and several restaurants close by. You'll want to rent a car - free parking onsite. We had a lovely time!

My wife and I had a great time. Everything was clean, the condo was well stocked with everything you’d need (even some unexpected extras!). It was wonderful and we highly recommend staying here.

My friend and i stayed for a week and had the best time! View was amazing. All the staff are friendly and helpful. And it was really nice to have a washer and dryer in the room bc most of the units domt have them.

Stayed with a group of friends. We all loved the location and being able to walk out directly onto the beach.
Amenities at the condo were great - pots/pans, dishes, spices, beach towels, sunscreen, bug spray, beach toys, etc.

I can’t say enough about our stay, it was perfect! We had 11 women, rented this condo and the one right next door. Just walk right out the door to put your feet in the sand of the beautiful beach. The store is right across the street. The place was clean, beds we’re comfortable and the Murphy beds were perfect. We will definitely be back. The property owner checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend.

The condo is situated on the East end of Grand Cayman. It is away from all the hustle & bustle of 7 mile beach. We literally walked out the door and meet the beach. The condo was all we could dream of. We found we liked our area so much better than being in town. We loved the italian restaurant across the street, dining 3 times with them, including a special birthday dinner. Our host was the best, allowing us to check in early and giving us a detailed outline of everything we could need. We left plenty in the frig and are hopeful it's put to good use. We tried to dive but the ocean was just angry and we found ourselves back at the condo loving our life. We would definitely encourage anyone to stay here. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of heaven with us.

I love the East end for the feeling of quiet Cayman, and Castaways is a great location as there are two pools, a brilliant beach which is cleaned each morning, a dock, small shops opposite and beautiful sunrises. The condo is ground floor and stepping straight out to the beach with small kids was perfect, and there is a little shade in the afternoon due to the easterly dircetion so there was the option of shady beach too, very helpful. No balcony to worry about safety-wise and a great patio. As the condo is not at the bat end it is quiet with little foot traffic past, so still private. It had lots of sand toys, pool toys and beach towel, enough to keep a 3 year old very happy! The kitchen was well-resourced and even had measuring cups and spoons to help with baking (which we did a lot!). The showers were lovely, the issue we had with one bathplug was fixed within the hour of it being reported and the aircon was great. We stayed with a baby and 3 year old and the soundproofing is also great (they didn't wake up with thunderstorms, my parents couldn't hear them even when outside the door as the walls are thick). Lots of sockets, comfy beds and furniture, parking right outside.
Parrot sanctuary is worth a visit very locally, and there is brilliant snorkeling straight off the beach. Also diving available from Tortuga at the neighbouring dock without having to drive, as well as local options with Ocean Frontiers. Rest of the island easy to reach if you don't drive in rush hour!

We had a wonderful stay at this property!
The condo is well equipped with everything you need for a several day stay. The condo was clean, beds were comfy and we had a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. Alison was excellent communicator as well.
Across the street there is a small grocery store, liquor store and a Italian restaurant which provided all the necessary needs for our week stay.
The Wyndham Reef/ Castaways Cove is located on the quiet East End of the island and even my teenagers preferred the East End vs the hustle and bustle of 7 Mile. There were daily activities held at the Reef which we participated in. When we stayed here (July 2023) there was a significant amount of sargassum in front of the condo and the staff struggled to keep the beach clean. We spent most days at other locations on the island so it wasn't a huge inconvenience however it was unsightly and there was a smell. It appeared the beach cleaning crew was more focused on the Wyndham Reef beach rather than Castaways Cove. Sargassum is a part of nature and nothing the condo owners can do about it. Keeping the beach clear requires a full-time effort and the Wyndham has a part-time crew.
Overall we had a wonderful trip to this beautiful island and we would stay at this location again. It is truely a Patio to Paradise!

We had a nice and relaxing stay! The property was as described with many pool and beach items to use. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. You just can’t beat the view and steps to the beach!

Everything about this property is perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Easy access to local restaurants, groceries, Rum Point, and various activities. The resort facilities are convenient and well kept. It doesn’t get much better than snorkeling right off of the patio!

The condo worked out perfectly for our family. Our kids (5, 2 and 6 months) enjoyed the easy access to the sand but still being far enough from the ocean to feel safe. They both loved the kiddo pool which was on the other side of the property but we didn't mind the walk. The snorkeling near the pier was very good too. The resort food was expensive but that's true of all food on the island so we mostly cooked for ourselves from the local grocery stores.
It was very helpful to have a washer/dryer and a few swim toys for the kids as well as beach towels.
The only "downside" is the location being at the far end of the island which means quiet and fewer tourists but harder access to certain excursions near 7 mile beach. We rented a car so that wasn't an issue but with traffic, it was over an hour from the airport or to the boat launches off 7 mile. Our recommendation is to find excursions that launch from Rum Point (the resort can advise or you can book with White Sands and we highly recommend Jefferson's bio tour!) Kaibo restaurant and Tukka were great...and you can even help feed the birds daily at Tukka at 5pm.
Wonderfully clear green blue water and mostly calm as well! If you are seeking a quiet place to relax without looking at a skyline or other resorts, this is definitely your place!

If you want to look out your patio window and see an amazing beach view, all you need do is look at the picture on the website - truth in advertising. Went here for celebrating 60th birthdays with my husband, sister and brother-in-law and we had a blast. We viewed pretty much the whole island (had a rental car) and felt that the east end of the island was the best - not as much traffic or round-abouts as in the city. Beds were super comfortable, everything worked well and the place was well supplied. Loved having a washer/dryer in the unit and being able to prepare meals in when we wanted to. Being able to walk just a few feet to the sand and sun chairs was awesome. If you love quiet and the beach, this is your ultimate vacation. Also, we're told that the sea food buffet is to die for. Resort offers some activities, and a bar area - dining outdoors and the food was good. With a liquor store, grocery store and Italian restaurant across the street, you really have everything you need to have a great vacation.

This condo has it all! Our family of four, including an 18 & 20 year old, had the perfect week. There was plenty of space, comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchen & simply a beautiful property. The communication was very smooth & all pictures are accurate. We enjoyed the bar & restaurant on property. We had a car & explored a lot. Highly recommend the local restaurants on the East End - La Casita, Tukka, Over the Edge, Kaibo & The Caboose.
We wouldn’t change a thing about our stay & hope to come back soon. Enjoy your stay!

The property was clean and just as it was described. It's just a few feet from the ocean. The beach chairs right off the patio are convenient. The restaurant/bar are good and convenient and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The East End is less commercial/touristy, which actually makes it more interesting.

We just returned from an absolute dream vacation as a family and this place was a big part of that success! From the very beginning, communication with the hosts was over the top excellent. Alison was quick to answer any and all questions. Not only was communication effective, flexibility was superb! We had some issues with our flight and Alison worked like a champ to make sure our vacation wasn't ruined by an unfortunate circumstance. So before we even got to our destination, I would tell you all to book this property without hesitation, you cannot find a better place!
Then, when we finally arrived, we were truly blown away. The pictures are spot on with what you will get. However, you don't get how comfortable the beds and pillows are in the pictures! This place has absolutely everything you could want and then some, from the spacious living, to being steps from the ocean, to the beautiful pools onsite, again, you simply can't find a better place!

Great location! Amazing view!
Nice sized place right on the ground floor. Feels private at the quieter end of the resort by the secondary pool and hot tub. Conveniently located by a grocery and restaurant as well as another resort next door. Host was extremely fast with responses and very accommodating.

The property is clean, spacious and 20 feet fom the beach. It is located across the street from a group of stores that have everything you need. The resort amentities are close but just far enought away.

Beachfront heaven!
We stayed at this Resort in 2016 but had a 2nd floor unit. This time we found THIS unit and it was a first floor direct access to the beach unit. There is an elevator for accessing all floors and we used it when we took our luggage to the condo because there is a small set of stairs to the first floor.
The condo is pleasantly appointed and the owners provide several beach towels & toys, bathroom towels and some paper essentials. We stayed 2 weeks and the remaining 6 people in our party stayed next door Morritt’s resort.

A Relaxing Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
Communication was easy and questions were addressed promptly.
We arrived and Barbara welcomed us. The condo housed my husband, 3 teenagers and myself. We wanted a quieter location than 7MB and this was perfect. It was well stocked and never felt cramped. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were always hot and we dined outside with such an amazing view. We utilized the beach towels for the pools which was great. We did not partake in a lot of the resort activities or eat at their restaurant. We did walk to the small grocery store across the street which was quite handy.
We used this as a hub to explore the island. We used White Sands Sports for a trip to Stingray City and the bioluminescent kayak tour. Both were amazing!
After discovering other parts of the island it was so nice to come back to a safe and quiet environment to get recharged for the next day. I’ve already recommended it to family and friends!

Beautiful Beach, Seamless Stay
Our vacation was seamless from our correspondence prior to booking, through the booking process and stay. The unit was clean and welcoming and just as described. The beach is so quiet and peaceful. A first floor walkout was amazing. I can’t say enough great things about the East End and this property was perfect for our needs. Thank you for a great experience!

Loved it!
Stayed for 8 nights with a family of 4. Plenty of room for all of us. A wonderful condo exactly as advertised with a well stocked, full kitchen that came in handy for cooking dinner that we got from the small, but well supplied grocery just across the street. The sunrises were AMAZING sitting on the patio with the beach and water right out the door. Two of us went diving with Ocean Frontiers 6 of the days; I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking for more than resort diving. They are a short 5 minute drive down the road. Can't think of anything that we felt we wished we would have brought that wasn't readily available. Overall, a fantastic vacation and we would absolutely stay here again on a future stay!

Comfortable, clean condo and wonderful, close proximity to the beach front. Courteous service. Not ideal for beach walkers, but as close to the water as we’ve ever experienced in a beach front facility. Must rent a car as this location is about 40 minutes from airport and more remote than where 7 Mile Beach is. Actually we preferred the quiet. Favorite restaurant was Eagle Rays just a few miles down the road. An enjoyable stay. Could use firmer mattresses

Great getaway
This is a perfect beachfront condo to get away from everything but access anything as you wish. This was our second year at the condo. The condo is spacious and clean and the manager is very responsive. You are about 20 feet from the beach. The general store, liquor store and Italian restaurant are across the street. A very short walk will bring you to the beach bar and restaurant.
