The pond has small mouth and large mouth bass, yellow perch, pickerel, sunfish and black crappie! 10 minute ride to South Cape beach, 6 minutes to Menauhant beach, and boat launch facilities for deep water access at Child's River is less than three minutes away; you can launch the kayaks and paddle boards there, too. Large outdoor deck, gas grill and plenty of seating for everyone. Outdoor shower with hot water! The property is also regularly serviced with a natural oil treatment to control ticks and mosquitoes throughout the season. There is a portable air conditioner we use on the first floor to cool off the pool room and dining area. If you are into wildlife, the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is a short walk and offers educational programs and walking trails that brings you to Waquoit Bay. Very cool for kids and frankly, the view of the bay is just awesome.
