Nestled in Redding, this charming condo for $135 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Enjoy the tranquility and quiet surround of this superb location near the Sacramento river and trails. Be independent in your own space in this King deluxe master studio. Unwind and take a long soak in the spa bath, enjoy 'eating in' using your private little kitchenette, sit at the breakfast bar and enjoy the freshly roasted special blend of organic coffee provided by your host. Look out to the tranquil back garden and water fountains, or relax on your own porch with outdoor chairs/small table . But most of all, get a good night's sleep on a very comfortable cal king bed! NB. You studio is your own private space with your own external access down the side of our house. It is connected to our house by a wall, and the back lawn is a shared space. The kitchen has a sink, breakfast bar, counter space and everything you need to prepare your meals; a decent sized fridge you can stock up, microwave, coffee pot, blender, small portable oven, induction cooking element with pots, utensils, crockery and glassware. In the room is a sofa and coffee table for you to relax, sip on your freshly roasted coffee as you look out over the back garden. The small dining room table with two chairs is great for eating meals or a work desk. Karina is a coffee snob and owned her own cafe in New Zealand, so roasts her own unique blend of organic coffee at home which guests love! Karina thinks it's the best coffee in Redding!... Come and see what you think ;) This is a great place to stay for those wanting a luxury retreat, conference attendees, cyclists, nature/outdoor lovers, dog owners (if you have a furry friend, please let us know to get pre-approval); and allows you to be self contained cooking meals in rather than having to eat out all the time. It is a 4.8 mile drive to Bethel. For your entertainment there is a television in the room with access to netflix, hulu, sling, disney plus and amazon prime. No shortage of movies to watch! There is good wifi internet (can do video zoom calls etc), central air conditioning, off street parking outside (to the right of the garage), and access to our laundry room by request on the other side of the door from your kitchenette. We love to host and enjoy getting to know our guests. We also respect your privacy and need for space. We are available to answer any local questions you may have. Karina works from home (up the other end of the house) so will be there most of the time, however, may not always be available to chat.

The space was wonderful! Quick access to walking trails, natural light, all the little touches you could need, and the bathroom makes you feel like royalty. You can tell the owners put a ton of effort into preparing the space! It was also nice to have a grassy space for our dog to trot around in.

Just a few, end of the season, worn items and not quite as much sound insulation next to the shared laundry room as one would like kept this experience from being 5 stars. The bed, bath and kitchenette were very comfortable and the river walk perfect for a lovely stroll. Karina was the perfect host.

This property is in a quiet residential area near the Sacramento River Trail and downtown Redding. It’s set up nicely for one or two with a comfy king bed, reclining love seat, jacuzzi tub, huge shower and bathroom. The kitchen is small but adequately stocked to prepare simple meals. The welcome basket and roasted coffee is a nice, welcoming touch. It is small dog friendly with approval and the Hosts live on site and are very friendly. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the landscaping could use improvement (weeds and finishing touches like the inside) and could use a more private delineation of outside guest space. We also found some dishes were not cleaned from previous guests as all guests are asked to wash their own dishes. Overall, very nice and I would recommend and stay again.

Everything was great. The room is beautifully equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the towels plush. It even has a heated toilet seat. This is a hidden gym and if you’re in the Reading area, we would highly recommend it.

Nice safe neighborhood, area close to anything we needed ( food, gas ) Easy check in and easy to find . Very Clean and super comfortable bed !!!Did not do any cooking but they had amazing home roasted coffee for my morning.. Kitchen looked well supplied. Would for sure stay again.

We have used VBRO/Home Away in multiple countries and multiple U.S. cities and have experienced lows and highs through these experiences. This visit was high. The room was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The king-size bed was very comfortable. I had to leave town for a few days, and my wife felt complexly safe. The location West of Lake Redding Park is across from the path of the River Walk, connecting to miles of trails. The owners were gracious, kind, and attentive to our needs. The young son and daughter were friendly yet not intrusive or noisy. We loved the little dog “Jimmy.” My wife and I agreed we would recommend this location to any couple visiting Redding. We will return.

We came to Redding for a weekend of dog shows in nearby Anderson. The studio, located at the back of the house, offered a secure, fenced yard that gave our puppies room to run and exercise without the need for controlled walks. Not only were the hosts friendly and helpful but they took an interest in our sport and came to the dog show to watch our Russell Terriers being judged. If we come back for this dog show in future years, we will plan ahead and book this studio. The cost was comparable to what we would expect to pay for a nice hotel and offered far more in the way of convenience and ammenities.

Beautiful, safe, well kept location. Lovely host family. Small w/o feeling cramped. Truly luxurious amenities. Good quality linens, mattress, pillows… So appreciate that the products provided (soap, shampoo…) are quality & smell great! Appreciate the thoughtfulness of providing a few basics food-wise! And…Home Roasted Coffee!! Yum!! What a bonus! Very relaxing & peaceful atmosphere. Private, yet not isolated. Thank you for a really lovely experience!

This was an amazing little stay! Cozy little studio with everything! Comfy bed, cozy living area and the bathroom was fantastic! Literally short walk to the river and so many little critters hanging out over there. The area is perfect somewhat secluded and very quiet. Cannot wait to stay here again when we are in the area. The host went above and beyond for my boyfriends birthday and I am so grateful!

Karina briefly showed us how everything works, intoduced us to her sweet family, and everything just clicked from that point forward. The apartment is tastefully decorated yet very comfortable, including a lovely large bathroom with supplies well-stocked, a small but very useful kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, coffeemaker and coffee beans, toaster oven, toaster, microwave, dishes and silverware. The neighborhood feels safe and is quiet. My husband and I slept very comfortably. Highly recommended!

This stay was fantastic! The owners were so thoughtful in every little detail. The room was cozy, comfortable and a great size. I very much enjoyed the fresh coffee and how well stocked everything was. I appreciated them allowing us to have our small dog with us and we enjoyed a much relaxing weekend getaway. I would recommend this property to anyone. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood and centrally located to town and Lake Shasta. I’m not always comfortable when away from home, but that wasn’t an issue this time.

The studio was very comfortable and had an amazing bathroom. I found the bed comfortable and enjoyed soaking in the tub. My only complaint was that sometimes the dinner smells from the house overpowered the studio. I only wish I'd had less work to do an the weather would have been better for exploring the trail near by. Thanks for the comfy retreat!

This rental was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The location in Redding is close to lots of things you may wish to do such as visiting Lassen volcanic national Park, Whiskeytown hiking trails, and other waterfall trails. We really enjoyed our stay. We did not realize that Redding is the second sunniest city in the United States. And it led up to its name as we had lots of sunshine and warm temperatures.
