Private, direct beach access from this beautiful 3,000 square feet ocean front home...five bedrooms + kids' bunk room. Floor to ceiling windows throughout. Waves, surf, and whale watching galore. Fabulous location five miles south of Lincoln City and only one mile from the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort (golf, spa, swimming pool, tennis, fitness center, fine dining). Neptune Vacation Rentals is the ideal vacation home on Oregon's central coast. Perfect for large groups who need a spacious home or cozy enough for a couple looking for a private luxury getaway. The ocean is right out the backdoor with a private path down to the beach. For folks with mobility issues, there is a gently sloping public entrance to the sand four houses away. It is a short drive to a wide variety of restaurants, groceries, shopping, antique stores, casino, and the Tanger outlet mall in Lincoln City. We are located five miles north of picturesque Depoe Bay and 15 miles north of Newport with its world class aquarium. Neptune Vacation Rentals is a custom home built in 2006 and is over 3000 square feet with five bedrooms plus kids' bunk room and four full bathrooms. It has the finest quality furnishings and amenities. There are three master suites. All of the beds are very comfortable and have luxury linens. There is a living room on the main level with hardwood floors; a gas fireplace that has a quiet, adjustable-speed fan that throws out lots of BTUs; a large flat screen TV & DVD & DVR; and slider doors to the large, ocean front patio with a fire pit. You may see whales AND surfers! There is a kids' play space with bean bags chairs, glow-in-the-dark stars and constellations on the ceiling, buckets of building block toys, and a basket of books. The house also has a baby high chair, two Pak 'n Plays, baby dishes, cups, utensils and a dozen or so plastic covers for the electrical outlets. Step stool in each bathroom so toddlers can reach the sink. BEDROOMS 5 bedrooms plus kids' bunk room: beds for 12 people.. Bedroom #1 has one queen with en suite bathroom and real-flame gas fireplace, on ground level off the garage Bedroom #2 has one king bed with en suite bathroom. Large flat screen TV + DVD player Bedroom #3 has one queen bed with adjacent bathroom Bedroom #4 has one king bed with en suite bathroom and ocean front balcony Bedroom #5 has two queens with large flat screen TV + DVD player, ocean front balcony and adjacent bathroom Bedroom #6 is has two twin trundle beds and two twin beds with adjoining play space (total of six twin beds). The house was clean and met our needs perfectly. The view is amazing and the host was very helpful.

This home was a dream. We used it for a mini family reunion: 5 couples and 1 single. The king and queen beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were nicely decorated. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, even providing some coffee which we forgot. The main living area overlooks the ocean, and was the most relaxing distraction we've had in a long time. We made use of the oversized dining table for eating, playing games, and reading. The weather was pretty near perfect for December, and we enjoyed the fire pit one evening.
There is a path direct to the beach that we all used daily. We had a little problem with one of the TVs, but our host Sandy was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and she had it fixed as soon as she could.
There are stairs. My 94 yr old dad climbed the 5-6 stairs to his bedroom each eve and did fine. Just be aware of this. The basement bedroom while it doesn't have a view, provided the most quiet and privacy.
The home is in a quiet neighborhood, and we meet several locals who used the adjoining lot to access the beach. It was a delightful stay! Thanks Sandy!

We stayed for a long weekend in early December. The Ocean views are unbeatable! The main living area and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms have huge windows with full view of the ocean. The house sits on a cliff/steep hill about 20-25 feet above the ocean. We had a 1.5 and 4 year old with us and they needed close supervision in the front yard. There is a reasonably easy path down to the beach right out the front yard. For folks with balance issues or knee injuries, there is even easier access 1 block north.
The kitchen was well stocked. We made most of our meals there. There is no vent or fan for the gas range, which is nice visually, but the smoke detector went off a couple of times when we were cooking even though there was no smoke. We ended up leaving the door cracked open when cooking to keep it from going off.
There were lots of beach toys for the kids as well as books for little kids, a kids nook and duplo blocks. The beds are comfortable. We never ended up going there, but we heard the Side Door Cafe just a few blocks inland is very good.

Awesome ocean view!!! We were coincidentally treated to a storm while there and we spent the whole day watching the crashing waves…. The house was immaculate and it was so nice to have the well stocked kitchen. Also having the garage to park in since it was raining sideways was wonderful. We are talking about making it an annual trip!!! Thank you so much Sandy!!!

Words do not do justice for how beautiful this home is!!
The owner (Sandy) has gone above and beyond, not only in he the home is furnished but in making sure the kitchen is stocked just like you would find in your own home. She also was so great at communicating with all of the information needed for the rental prior to us checking in.
The only word of caution is the tied to the parking situation for such a big house. Only 4 cars are allowed as there is no street parking. The listing is very clear on this and Sandy gave us lots of warnings leading up to the trip, which we appreciated!! We did not have any issues for our trip, but it might be more difficult if you have smaller groups of people coming together from different places and all planning on staying in the home.
We had family in a separate rental across the street, and I am sure it will be a race to see who can get this house booked first when/if we venture back to Gleneden Beach!

Lovely, very well appointed, home with a view to die for! We had five days and we’re treated to a storm, two bright days for walks on the beach, and an outdoor fire to boot! We all want this to be our go to get away. Touches like upscale bedding and linens and a well appointed kitchen are really appreciated.

The home, amenities and views were spectacular. We had a long delayed family reunion and greatly enjoyed each others company. We did puzzles, cooked and watched baseball as we reconnected. It was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, five of the eleven of us tested positive for Covid after returning home! Despite that, it was totally worthwhile.

I have stayed at this gorgeous home several times, and already have it reserved for next year. We love the location, right on the beach for our long walks collecting agates. The kitchen is very well appointed and has everything you need for preparing meals. There is plenty of room for a group. The location is excellent for quick sightseeing trips or finding good restaurants. There is a little market only two miles away, and a larger (Safeway) market eight miles from the house. We love to purchase fresh seafood from Barnacle Bills in Lincoln City. The halibut is incredible! The host is very attentive, providing all the information you need, and is easy to reach should you have a question. I can't wait for my next stay!

This house is awesome. It is very well equipped with all you could imagine. The view is just spectacular. You have the perfect view in the whole down stairs as well as the two bedrooms on the third floor. This house just gives you that feeling of home. Just you , your cloths an food is all you need. Everything else is there. The house owner Sandy is so very nice an easy to communicate to with. This is the second time our family has stayed here an it was just as nice the second time as it was the first. I'm am sure we will be staying again. The place had everything we needed. It was very clean and worked well for our family. We were close to several great restaurants we really enjoyed. We hope to stay again.

Be prepared to be totally amazed when you first walk into the living/kitchen area and take in the views, along with the sounds of the ocean waves. And then as you continue to explore the house, amazement will stay with you as you climb the stairs to the top floor bedrooms, and experience the same gorgeous views. If you've every wanted to stay on beach on the Oregon Coast, this is the place for you... the experience will stay in your heart long after you have departed. All the rooms are well-appointed with a nautical theme, and the outdoor patio table was the perfect size for a conversation with our West Coast relatives. I also enjoyed the outdoor rocking chair in a more protected, but sunny spot. The only issue is that our visit was too short!

This was a great property with an amazing view. We loved how close to the beach it was. Please know, the walk from the house to the beach is half walk - half climb on giant boulders. For those who have difficulty walking on uneven ground, there is a community entrance a block away.

We enjoyed the roominess of the house, the beautiful views from the house of the ocean, the equipment in the kitchen. From the ages of 3 to 71, we all had a great time. There were fun activities close by or we could just sit and watch the waves. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants a great vacation.

Beds are comfortable, all furnishings are well cared for and functional. Space for all of us to be happy enjoying the gorgeous coastal views.
Owner is very quick to respond to questions and made staying here a breeze and just the best process.
We’ve stayed in many homes along the Oregon Coast and this is rated one of our favorites for sure.

You will need to leave the house cleaner than the departure instructions ask, or you risk not receiving all of your damaged deposit back. Our experience being charged $100, largely for "extra cleaning" that was not asked to have completed in the departure instructions. We sent multiple messages to owner Sandy inquiring about this, but unfortunately never received a response. She was great with responding to messages before our stay..

Stunning home, stunning view! This home was immaculately clean and comfortable. It was so warm and well-appointed - really could not think of anything more that they could have provided.

This is our second stay at this property. Each time we have been impressed with the home. It is beautifully maintained and was absolutely spotless. The location is perfect...close to Lincoln City, Depot Bay and Newport. This time we went further south and found lighthouses, tide pools and more beautiful beaches.
