About this house rental
Situated in Lewisburg, this lovely house for $129 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This is a 3 room addition that was built onto our house. It is totally separate and locked off from the rest of the home. You have your own private entrance to this 1 bedroom suite which opens up to a very spacious living room with a sofa and recliner, small settee and a electric fireplace. The bedroom is very spacious as well with a queen bed, sitting area and french doors that lead out to the balcony. The bathroom has a soaking tub and a separate shower. NOTE: There is not a kitchen in this suite. You will have total privacy. There is also a mini Refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in this suite. Our farm is located on a 100+ acres with beautiful views and awesome hiking/riding trails. HORSES ARE WELCOME for a small fee so bring your riding partner. We are in a very private setting and the atmosphere is serene. There is so much to do in the area or you can kick up your feet and just take in the views and relax. This is a working horse farm therefore you may see tractors running from time to time, horses in pastures, goats, sheep and other farm animals. Located approx. 4 miles from downtown Lewisburg WV's fine dinning, antique shops & quaint stores. Only minutes away is West Virginia's beautiful Greenbrier River Trail (77miles) is one of America's premier rail-trails and popular with bicyclists, hikers, walkers, kayaking, horseback riders and cross-country skiers. Most of the trail runs along the gorgeous Greenbrier River and passes through picturesque countryside as it winds through the river valley. There is no doubt you will see many species of interesting wildlife along this wonderful trail. There are also lots of nice parks close by- Greenbier State Forrest, Droop Mountain Battlefield SP. Monongahela National Forest (Cranberry Glades ), Bear Town, Babcock State Park, Blue Stone State Park, New River Gorge National River, Summersville Lake, Moncove Lake SP, there are too many to list. Some other attractions are Lost World Caverns, Organ Cave, Carnegie Hall, The Greenbrier Resort, Greenbrier Historical Society and North House Museum, Rails to trails, many covered bridges in the area and snowshoe ski resort. My husband & I were in town for a golf tournament and stayed in Cheryl & Brookes one bedroom suite.
When you walk in the front door you walk into the living area which was quite large and cozy. The bedroom is quite large and has a private deck off of the back. The bathroom has a good sized sunken tub and separate shower.
My husband loved sitting on the deck at night and in the morning while drinking his coffee watching all of the farm animals.
Cheryl & Brooke couldn’t have been nicer.
I 100% recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience throughout the whole process. The ranch is beatiful. The directions and checkin was very helpful. Property clean. All amenities and very thoughtful. Very slight drawback, roads to property could be hard to traverse in heavy rain or snow. But dont let that deter you! Come visit!

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend here at CB Ranch. The proximity to town was perfect for us. Our hosts were extremely respectful of our privacy, but were readily available to answer any of we had about area attractions. I highly recommend these accommodations. You won't be disappointed.

Cozy and comfortable in the country
Cheryl and Brooke were awesome hosts. Their farm is a working farm with adorable creatures, especially the goats! They have a lovely hiking path around the perimeter of the property and it was fun just watching and hearing all the animals. The town of Lewisburg is very cute with a large array of restaurants.

What a relaxing and refreshing time away from the busyness of life. Your location nestled in the valley between the mountains was perfect! We loved waking up to the sound of the farm animals and watching them graze the pastures. Sooo peaceful! Thank you for your hospitality!

Great for relaxing!
We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at Cheryl and Brooke's farm! The suite was clean, spacious, and had a great deck good for reading and coffee in the AM. It's close to a lot of hiking and attractions, and exploring Lewisburg was a huge plus! We really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property as well. Highly recommend for a getaway!

Idyllic farm spot for a get-away!
What a wonderful place! We had such a good time there - exploring the farm trails and meadows, roasting smores over the campfire, watching the sheep & horses & goats, eating breakfast on the porch. It's a great location - it's such an idyllic & peaceful farm setting that it feels far away from everything, yet only a short drive to town, and close to so many different parks & forests that we had a really hard time picking which hikes to do. The place is lovely inside too - it actually feels larger & more luxurious in person than the pictures show. (We especially enjoyed the comfy recliner!) Thank you, Cheryl and Brooke! We're already hoping we can make it back again sometime :)

A wonderful property and owners
My wife and I had a great stay at the property. The owners were pleasent to talk with and helpful. The space was very clean and well designed for our getaway. There is one small thing that could have improved the stay, the rental space shares an AC with the main home, and it would have been ideal to have a small AC window unit for the bedroom to keep that area a little cooler. The owners did mentioned a couple times to let them if we wanted the AC turned to a lower temp but I didn’t feel like bugging them lol. This was a wonderful place, very well decorated and on a beautiful piece of land:)

Peaceful country living!
We were looking for an alternative to a hotel for a home away from home while working at the State Fair. CB Ranch was perfect! We are used to the quiet of country living, and enjoyed the space to relax at night. The space is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Cheryl and Brooke are very thoughtful and helpful hosts. Want a peaceful, beautiful farm getaway?
This property is gorgeous and the rooms are perfect. Private and well-appointed with all the little detailed extras (only better) that a hotel room would provide. I can’t say enough about how delighted we were with our first VRBO. The home is really not far from downtown Lewisburg. We enjoyed our dinner (brought in) on the private deck overlooking pastures of horses, sheep and goats and watching a deer run through the field. Morning coffee, same spot on the deck. Thank you to our hosts for giving us a tour of you farm. I only wish we could have relaxed there longer. If you’re wondering if you should stay here, you should. Book it.
