2023 Remodeled Cottage only 5 minutes from the Beach
About this house rental
Thank you for taking a look at our place. Sea Island Serenity has been remodeled in 2023 and is now ready for you to make memories. This lovely place is located just outside from the gated community of Harbor Island, which means you save the cost of a car pass and yet you are only 5 minutes away from the Hunting Island State Park Beach and only 2 minutes away from the next boat landing. Also, Downtown Beaufort is less than 20 minutes away from this beautiful "Sea Island Serenity' cottage. No worries, we provide the passport for the beach for one car! The cottage sits on 0.54 acre land surround by the traditional southern oak trees and other local trees such as palm trees - you have the privacy you are looking for, yet you are only minutes away from the beach, boat landing, shopping and dining. Bring your boat - we got plenty of space to park it. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (each has a queen size bed) and 1 bathroom (tub/shower). The maximum amount of guests at this cottage is 4. The cottage offers a beautiful screened in porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening and bugs stay outside. We also have a big deck one the side of the house which we have equipped with a grill and additional seating. There is a smart TV in the living room and we offer cable TV and Internet at the cottage for your enjoyment. You can bring your sign in information for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube TV etc.. Our beautiful kitchen is equipped with anything you can think off and possibly more. If there would be anything else you need, just give us a call. Since there is no land line phone inside the cottage, a cell phone is a must for emergencies or to contact us during your stay for any problems or questions. We take pride in our cottage, so we have arranged a cleaning service to clean after your stay. They will also wash and dry linens and towels and replace them for the next guests. Please note, that the cottage only sleeps 4 people and the maximum occupancy is 4 per our policy. We do not have additional sleeping arrangements in our place. As much as we all love our fur babies but unfortunately we have a "no pet policy". Please make arrangements for them with a boarding faclity before booking our place. As a short term rental host we are legally allowed to use various surveillance devices to protect our property on the outside. There are 3 cameras installed at the cottage. One is located at the front door of the property and one is installed at the backside / deck of the property and one on the left side at the front of the house. Those 3 cameras protect our guests and ensure policies are followed. We look forward to having you as our guest. Safe travels and enjoy the Sea Island Serenity Cottage.

Nice place to stay. I could not get the thermostat to stay were I set it. Got a little cold at night. But other than that nice place. I would stay again I liked how close it was to the boat ramp.

Great place for a family of 4. Mattresses could defiantly be replaced as they creaked and made noise every time you moved in the bed. Other than that it was a great home close to the beach

Was very pleased with our stay. The house was a perfect size for our small family. Loved the large lot with two decks. Enjoyed several cups of coffee watching the birds each morning. Thanks for sharing this unit with our family.

This property has been completely remodeled so the picture did not do it justice! Light and airy and super cute!!! Loved that it included a pass to Hunting Island State Park! Was close enough for our day trips to Fripp with friends but also close enough to enjoy Beaufort and Port Royal! We will be back to this great spot!

We loved the teal cottage! It was very cozy and clean! Only downfall would be the rooms didn't have ceiling fans and there's only a loveseat in the living room. I think the set up could be arranged with more seating but other than that it was perfect and great location!

Everything about the property was great! Loved it being close to Hunting Island, our favorite place. Close to some of our favorite restaurants as well.

We came to visit Hunting Island and this property is perfectly situated on the main road between Hunting Island and Beaufort. I cooked while we were there and found that it was well equipped with basic spices and appliances. Some places we have stayed are so sparse but this one was great! The beds were comfortable and the house has a 3rd bedroom with a daybed that perfectly fit out pack-n-play for our 2 year old. Would stay here again!

My husband and I have rented this property twice now. The owner is great to work with and responds quickly. The property is beautiful and perfect for a quite stay with things to do close by. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, which made it the perfect getaway. The little touches at the property make it feel like a home away from home. Will definitely stay here again and again.

This cottage was located perfectly for our planned activities. It was very clean and comfortable. Hunting Island is a beautiful park and easily accessible. Coastal Expeditions is very close to the cottage and offers several water activities. We took the trip to St. Phillips Island. We strongly recommend the trip at this time of year.
Try the shrimp and grits at Q on Bay in Beaufort. Delicious!

This was the cutest property! The place was very clean, and had everything you could’ve needed during your stay. The huge back deck was very much a plus and we used it a good bit. My children loved the small room to watch tv in and relax. I loved having the security cameras as well, made us feel safe. Although, the house was in a safe location in general. Speaking of location, so close to Hunting Island! We will definitely rent again!

We spent a long weekend at Nadine’s precious beach bungalow. The property was exceptionally clean and communication with the owner was quick when a question came up. It’s so close to everything. Pulling out of the drive, Hunting Island Harbor and Fripp to the right and Lady’s Island, Port Royal and Beaufort to the left. There was always something to do. The property is spacious so the yard is a perfect place to play and chill. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee or a quiet read. We had 3 adults and a seven year old and it was perfect!

We stayed for six nights. The cottage had just been very nicely redecorated, it is spacious and very well equipped.
Lovey screened in porch and large new deck.
Quiet location perfect for beach at Hunting State Park and for visiting Beauford, Charletson,Hilton Head and Savannah.

We spent the week with my parents and my sons visiting the Beaufort/Port Royal area as we have done for the last several years. We usually spend the time fishing the pier at Hunting Island, enjoying the beach there, and shopping in Beaufort and Hilton Head. Nadine’s property has been our favorite!!! The house is super clean, location is perfect for those visiting the area. We loved having the full kitchen to make meal prep super easy for our group! Beds were very comfortable and the twin bed/trundle bed were perfect for the boys to have their own little space! Wi-Fi was good and reliable. The screened porch was a nice place to be able to shake off the sand and sit and relax. We would definitely consider this location for our next trip down to Beaufort!!

My family and I have rented the beach cottage twice now. It's the perfect location for getting to Hunting Island State Park. My toddlers love the "kids room". Dishwasher and washer/ dryer are a must for us when traveling so this house checks all the boxes! Nadine is a great host and communication is easy. We hope to come back next year!

Cute little house and super close to our family and the beach! Our only complaint was that we were disappointed with the smell and air quality. It was an overwhelming musty smell when you walked in and after only a 2 night stay our suitcases and clothing smelled (even after a 16hour drive home). I had to rewash all of our clothing and even throw away some food because the smell stuck to everything! :( Hopefully it can be resolved so that we can visit again because otherwise the house was perfect!

Decent place. Unquestionably clean. Gloomy space. Polyester bed sheets could use an upgrade. Quite close to highway so reasonable amount of intrusive highway noise. All that said, it got the job done.

Great area. The home had everything we needed. 7mins away from Hunting Beach. Loved the fenced in porch & backyard. Restaurants/Walmart close by. My only complaints are limited channels on Xfinity & I feel like the house wasn't properly cleaned before our arrival. Would definitely rent again.

After a long winter filled with online learning and lots of time cooped up at home, some time by the beach was just what our family needed and this cottage offered us the perfect oasis for our getaway! My husband and I brought our daughter and a friend, both 15, and our sons ages 10 and 8, and there was plenty of room for all. The cottage was stocked with more blankets and pillows than we could need and everything was comfortable and cozy. The decor was inviting and made us feel right at home, the whole place was sparkling clean, and we found nice little extras everywhere we looked: a few dishwasher pods, a small supply of laundry detergent, a few garbage bags and paper towels to get us started, a few rolls of toilet paper in the small but functional bath, even some lighter fluid and charcoal for the grill! We found a generous supply of towels and washcloths as well and despite six people showering back to back, we never ran out of hot water which was a nice surprise!
The park pass for Hunting Island was great and the beach there was truly a hidden gem!! No crowds, gorgeous white sand, perfect swimming, and easy access from multiple close parking lots. Once back from the beach, the screened in porch made for a great drop zone for our sandy shoes, towels, and beach gear which helped keep the cottage clean. Inside, the air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable after our sun soaked days. I also loved spending the mornings on the porch with my coffee, listening to the birds, and chatting with my hubby about our plans for the day.
The location of the cottage made everything around us so accessible. We took day trips to Charleston and Hilton Head. Beaufort and Port Royal are only a few minutes away. Right on the same road as the cottage, you will find Family Dollar, a Dollar General, and Walmart, all within 10 miles. In the other direction, only a 5-7 minute ride, is Hunting Island State Park and some cute local restaurants and souvenir shops to check out.
Some of our favorite low country places were Stellar Ice Cream in Beaufort (try the sea salt caramel), The Smokehouse in Port Royal (excellent brisket!!!), and our amazing shark fishing charter with Dolphin Discoveries Nature Tours in Hilton Head (Captain Craig was amazing!)
We had such a wonderful week. The kids are already asking to come back next summer and thanks to a great stay and a stellar host, we wouldn’t hesitate to book this cottage again!!
