Most of the time, we get cooling ocean breezes, but in the summer months, the afternoons can be warm, so you can be assured of staying comfortable at all times! You can walk for miles, both north and south, on uncrowded beaches. Imperial Beach and Coronado also have many miles of ocean and bayside bike trails. The Tijuana Estuary and National Wildlife Refuge both have hiking trails and over 300 species of native or migrating birds. There is also a site just south of us that has guided beach trail horseback riding. We also have a beach front outdoor fitness court across the street. You can cook your meals at the house or walk to the many restaurants in the area. Our home is across the street from oceanfront restaurant at Pier South Hotel.
