Our large extended family had a wonderful time at this beautiful rambling home. There were plenty of common areas for connecting, playing games, etc. as well as space for people to have some peace and quiet if they wanted it. The home was well furnished and the kitchen was well supplied, and the property managers were responsive and thoughtful. We definitely recommend staying at this lovely home!

This is a very huge and lovely property. We rented the entire property including the guest house. The house is extremely clean. There is no disgusting factor .The Kitchen and all the utensils were super clean. The heating system is good. Never got cold in the house even though it was raining all the time.We will certainly rent it out again.

When my family booked this location, we disclosed there would be 23 of us. Nora sent a separate invoice with a price increase since there are more guests. That was fine so I went ahead and booked. Nora was accommodating and allowed us to arrive a little early which we were grateful for. Upon opening the door to the main house, everything appeared clean until you looked closely. The cabinets had spiderwebs all over and caked on dirt between the appliances and cabinets. The window sills were caked with dirt and the curtains looked like it has not been cleaned for 20 years. There had been so much dust on the curtains especially the ones on the dining area. The lamps, books, alarm clocks and decor had a layer of dirt that looked like it has not been cleaned for 2 months. Be careful when you walk around in the house since there are areas where the carpet is stretched out over holes (by the dining area), exposed nails (in the guest house stairs), and where you sit (toilet seats are broken and many dining chair legs were loose) causing us to either fall or trip.I wish I was exaggerating. The internet was down the entire time. I had to call Frontier as Nora asked to have them fix it but they would have to come out to look at the line since there was an issue with the line and not modem. As we would use the bathroom, the toilet roll dispenser would fall off and so would the towel racks. When you try to open up the windows, either they were jammed or they would need to be propped open with a wooden stake that was provided next to the window. My family also got bug bites from bed bugs in the guest house and many of the kitchen utensils and bakeware was filthy. The stove also did not work. 4 of the burners had to be lit up with a lighter every time you want to use it. I notified Nora of all this before leaving and she created excuses or said she did not know which made me think this is probably a pattern of behavior which she has no intention of actually fixing. Very difficult to believe she did not know about these issues , except for the window issue. She just offered to not charge us the extra garbage fee (10 dollars for additional garbage bags that cannot fit in the 2 garbage cans on the breezeway) which was a surprised to us when it was posted on a piece of paper at the rental. Nowhere was it stated in the contract about the garbage charge. Many of us started contracting an allergy cough from all the dust in the house. Never again.

Nora was wonderful. My family and I had stayed at this house back in 2015 and had the best time of our lives. We stayed again this July 2022 and made even more memories. The house is older now but we really enjoyed our time. We spent most of the time in the pool. The only small downfall is that the pool light wasn’t working. We ended up buying a spot light which worked well. Other than that… we will be back .. hopefully soon!

Had a great time here on our ladies cousins and kids weekend. The house is large and rambling with several gathering spaces for games, conversations and baby naps. The huge jacuzzi bathtub in the master was a big hit as well as the swimming pool and slide. Not super clean and a big ant problem in the kitchen and a few ants in one bathroom. We were thankful for the space coolers in the rooms because it was hot in July. The host was responsive to messages and helpful when we had a plugged toilet. Overall a fun family country getaway.
