This house is in the perfect location! Less than a 5-minute walk away, there is a beach to watch the sunset. The neighborhood streets are beautiful and perfect for morning walks. The house is extremely clean! The backyard has amazing views. There is a grill and plenty of outdoor furniture. Phyllis was amazing! She was so quick to get back to us whenever we had a question. She even called us ahead of time to let us know about the area and the house! Would definitely stay here again!

Had a wonderful time at Phyllis’s place. It was exactly as described and very comfortable. My only gripe was master bed too soft but that’s just my preference, my husband loved it!! Beautiful dock that we used for our boat rental. Saw a manatee a couple times and squirted the hose into the water to get him to stay a bit longer. Tons of fish also too see if the dock as well as nurse sharks. Thank you Phyllis for sharing your rental with us we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Disappointing check in, the window a/c's were not on when we arrived, it was hot and the one in the master bedroom was not working. The owner did arrange for a new one installed right away . The bathroom floor had a one inch ledge covered by a rug and my friend fell when coming out of the shower (there was nothing to hold on to). The kitchen was well equipped, the canal view was great as were the sunsets.

My wife and I and our 3 kids (ages 10, 8 and 8) had a great time staying at Phyllis’s house in Key Colony. It was clean, well laid out for both family togetherness and some separation btwn parents and kids when needed, and the neighborhood is beautiful! Very quiet and upscale with people walking everywhere and gathering nightly at the little beach to watch the sunset. We had activities up and down the keys all week and Marathon served as a great jumping off point for all of our adventures! There are 2 excellent beaches within a 5 minute drive (Plum for more natural/less crowded and Sombrero for more touristy/better facilities and amenities). The canal in the back served as a constant source of entertainment - even during breaks at the house as we were always seeing pelicans, fish and jellyfish (not man o’war - pretty clear ones and brown ones). It was great to have a full kitchen we could use for breakfast, prep lunches and snacks to take with us, and Phyllis does a good job making sure all the necessities are on hand (pots, pans, utensils, etc). I would highly recommend Phyllis as a host and her property as a great place to stay for all your Keys adventures! We will definitely stay here again when/if we come back to the keys! Jason

We loved this location! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It's close to lots of great restaurants, and a great "middle" location for exploring both Key West and Islamorada. The house itself was super comfortable and great for our dog. We loved watching boats drift in and out of the canal. Property owner went above and beyond when we needed to stay an extra night. We'll definitely be back!

A comfortable and pleasant experience for 4 adults with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, on a canal, in a safe neighborhood, and easy walking distance to sunset point. Wish we could've stayed longer, will definitely return.

With the exception of not very smooth communication with host all was as described. The property could benefit from slightly better quality (and quantity) of glasses, pots etc. A bait freezer also wouldn't go amiss. Half way through stay the trash cans disappeared and were not replaced until the end of stay.

The duplex was adorable, clean and the owner of the property was easy to get hold of! It was nice being a block away from Sunset Park. A manatee came to visit us on our last evening in the canal which was very special! I loved the master bedroom of the unit I had-it was bright with glass sliding doors that faced the canal and had a king sized bed. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The only suggestion I have is that a washer and dryer would be nice to have!

This is a terrific property conveniently located in Key Colony Beach near Marathon and in a quiet neighborhood, off US Hwy 1, consisting of homes and duplexes most of which are on "channels" with easy access to larger water. The property is a short walk to "Sunset Park" and with plenty to do in and around Marathon. The interior of the property was just as advertised and noted in the photos. It was clean, smelled clean and all the base amenities within the property you will need for your stay. The owner provided terrific communication and recommendations while being very proactive with reaching out shortly after the reservation was confirmed and before checking in to the property. We would, without a doubt, make a return to visit to KCB and stay at this property and do business with this property owner again in the future.

Our place was very retro and cozy. The rooms were good size and beds comfy. Very minimal supplies, but a quick stop at Dollar Store took care of our needs. Great location close to Sunset Park for morning walks with our dog. Would definitely stay here again!
