We had a great time with hiking in the woods and exploring the neighborhood on foot. The community is very quiet during the week, be sure to stock up on groceries prior to your arrival as there are very limited options in the community.

Great communication by property owner. It’s a comfy house even though it is older and not updated. Nice feeling of privacy with deer outside in the wooded area. Furniture and beds very comfortable. Needs a good deep clean of cobwebs and clearing out old scratched Teflon pans. Dishwasher not working during our stay - perhaps that has been fixed. Overall it was a nice stay.

It was our first time in Red Feather lakes area. Interesting, pretty landscape . This spot is clean, and the owners communicate frequently. No wildlife but the stars deserve a blanket and beverage. Incredible! Loved the quiet also!

The owners Diane and Mike we very good about staying in communication right up to our trip…place was clean and water was hot and everything worked, would suggest getting new cooking ware but we were able to cook what we wanted including using the outside grill. Wifi was great too and nice to have, was able to make calls with wifi calling…suprinsingly if you register to fish the private water, worth it if you are in the right place, large rainbow and palomino trout (thought they were golden trout) lots over 20” range. These owners are very good about communicationg and will most likely go back to them for our next fishing trip in the spring.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were in Colorado for a week for a softball tournament, but I wanted to stay in the mountains instead of the city to enjoy Colorado’s natural beauty so that is what we did. If we didn’t need to go to Loveland everyday for softball it would have been even better. We didn’t get to enjoy the full extent of the rust Al z lakes and Red Feather Lakes area because we were gone from early morning until late night most days, but what we did see was amazing. We kept hearing about moose but didn’t see any the first 5 days. Then we had to be on the road by 530am on the 6th day and that’s when we finally saw 2 young moose crossing the road coming from a lake. It was awesome and we saw plenty of other wildlife as well.

Perfect for rest and relaxation
We loved our stay in the cabin. It is comfortable and well appointed with everything you need. The owner Dianne is fantastic. She patiently and expertly answered my many questions and went out of her way to accommodate us, for example leaving us comfortable fold up chairs to use outside. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Home & Very Courteous Owners
My wife and I brought our 2 dogs to this wonderful home and really enjoyed our stay. On our second day we experienced the 4th largest winter storm in the Colorado Front Range’s history. We were unable to leave on our departure date due to the roads be inaccessible so the owners allowed us to stay an extra night. During the whole blizzard they kept us up to date on what to expect and made sure we were safe.
Customer service was unparalleled.

We went for a weekend getaway and had.a great time in the area. The home is furnished well and very comfortable. The only not five star was on cleanliness. It was clean, but could use a bit more attention to detail. Overall, we had a wonderful time hiking, fishing and eating out in town. Would 100% rent again.

Beautiful and clean but make sure you read all rules and regulations
Our daughter and sons families were in Colo for a visit and we planned to stay at our small, rustic secluded cabin in Redfeather. Our son has a newborn (2 months) so we thought it might be convenient to rent a place with running water for showers or naps or if the newborn was keeping anyone awake at night etc. So we rented the cabin for myself, daughter-in-law and 2 month old as the rest of the family wanted to stay at our own cabin. I was very honest about this with the owners but was told (after payment) no one but myself and daughter-in-law and (kid) would be allowed on the property. I would be charged per person per day for our 3 day reservation if anyone not registered would come on the property. It would also mean we could be forced to leave the property. I reviewed the contract I saw and it did not mention anything about guests except we would be responsible for damage done by any dayguests. The owners referred me to a contract that stated absolutely no guests. As a result, the two of us plus the newborn left every morning around 8am and returned at 9pm every night. No one else dared to come except my husband who brought us to check in. It was very unfortunate and disappointing they could not visit. Otherwise, the two of us and the 2 month old enjoyed our nights there. It is very clean, updated, quiet and secluded.
