Perfect Island getaway. Entire house with french doors & large Fenced yard. It's perfect for children and pets!! 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to the charming village area, pier, fishing, shopping, restaurants and playgrounds. Back deck with charcoal grill; perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together. Renovated in 2005, the cottage has a cozy, comfortable feel. Fully furnished kitchen, three bedrooms, two baths and two pull out couches in the living area. Sleeping capacity for 8-9 people Third bedroom is a master suite and is privately located in back of the home. Kitchen/dining have open floor plan with seating for 6-8. Desk/small “office” area available for persons needing a place to keep a laptop/electronics. Television with Roku TV available in living room. WiFi (Wireless Internet) included. Just over an hour to Savannah & Jacksonville. Owner is a licensed realtor in Georgia. Relax in the serenity of carefree living in your home away from home!!!

Great fishing trip!

Property had not been cleaned after previous vacationers. No pillows. No sheets. Dirty towels in bathtub. Trash full. Popcorn all over couch. Dead bug and dirt on floor. After finally getting in contact with management after multiple tries she told us someone can come to clean next morning. They did offer full refund because we told them we wouldnt stay

Master bath very small. We could not get tv to work Wi-Fi Roku or whatever Left message. Didn’t get response. We love the island so much. None of these issues mattered so much. Great location if you love the pier and village. Kitchen had almost everything. Great place to get together with your family.

property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. the house is still a bit of a fixer upper. lots of updating is needed. nicely furnished and the kitchen equipment was adequate. Great outdoor space for socializing and pets will love it

Upon check in, we saw the back doors open and the dining room covered with tree branches and bark. We notified the owner that the doors cannot be secured and believed this was a safety issue. As it was the day before Thanksgiving, she assured us someone would come Friday; no one came and we had to continue to prop a chair under the door knobs.
At first look, the kitchen was nice but the pots, pans and dishes (some glued together) were in poor condition. Storing paint and household repair items in the overhead cabinets was not very health wise either.
The main suite bed creaks with every turn and the toilet flap needs replaced as the toilet would run in the middle of the night.
Various safety issues outside with the uneven stone walkway, the sinkhole driveway, the broken gate latch and the side door lacking a functioning light.
We would rent in this neighborhood again but not this house! The only redeeming factor was spending time with family!

I realized just now I didn’t leave a review immediately after staying but I wanted to leave one to let others know this place is adorable and was so spacious! It was exactly what is in the photos and just as described. We visited St Simon Island again and it was unfortunately booked for the weekend we needed or we would have stayed again. Loved this place! We all talked about how great this place was and was sad we didn’t get to visit again.

Cute little bungalow in a great location near downtown. We were able to bring our pups who very much enjoyed the fenced in yard. The host was very easy to contact and accommodating. Hoping to make this a regular vacation spot! Great experience!

Quaint home, well fitted and close to attractions. Would definitely stay again. Took a minute to learn ROKU TV, thankfully we had a teenager to help us out.

We went to St Simons for a beach trip and wedding. The house was a convenient location to town, about a 15 minute walk. It was clean and comfortable. The master bathroom was a little small, but it was fine. Good place to stay!

Great Vacation!
We throughly enjoyed our stay! First time visiting St. Simons and it did not disappoint. House is located close enough to Pier and restaurants that we could ride bikes. House had plenty of room for 4 adults and our pups. Back yard was perfect for pups to run and play ( our only complaint would have been the grad wasn’t cut until Friday, but we didn’t contact property owner to request it either). Kitchen was great for cooking, we ate in a good bit. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were all adequate as well. We would recommend and use this property again.

Nice Location!
We enjoyed staying at this property. It is located just under 2 miles from the beach and the lighthouse/shopping area so it was very convenient! The house was as described, and the owner was very responsive and communicative. I had read the latest review the week before we came which said that the pots and pans were ruined. When I sent a message to the owner, she had a new set sent that was on the porch when we arrived!

Not as expected
Arrived at 4pm, contractor blocking driveway.
Yard was in poor condition, grass was knee high
Roach droppings were noticed in the kitchen
Tiny bathroom
Was asked to leave 2 days early due to a faulty main breaker that could not be repaired.
Huge inconvenience as I had a dog with me and we were there for a baseball tournament. Refunded 2 nights, didn't cover the cost of having to scramble to find a new place to stay.

Heather’s place was super clean and neat. The backyard is well kept and very relaxing. The neighborhood is very quite. It’s just a short drive away from the beach and fantastic restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended for families and pets.

Were a two month rental but were left with no cleaning supplies, not even a toilet bowl cleaner. The toilet seat was rusted out and broken and took over a week to fix. There were zero smoke detectors in the house and took over a week to get them installed. The MBR TV was not working and had to be replaced. No recycle bin when we arrived and never did get one. When we found something wrong we texted Heather, got a text back from “William” and then waited for maintenance company. It is apparent that the guests are the ones left to discover what needs repair. The neighborhood was great and we rented a house there for next year. Dick and Marsha

My family who stayed at this location loved it! My grandson told me as soon as I arrived to "come, come" to see his beach house. He showed me the bedrooms, back deck, and the nice yard. This house is a fantastic location as they were close to the beach, pier village, great places to eat and shop, and parks for my grandson to ride his bike. Highly recommend this house!
