- clean - easy to get the keys: they send you the instructions and codes needed. We didn’t have to speak to anyone and could arrive whenever we wanted.

No airconditioning, but the window can open all the way. This way, there is a bit of noice from the freeway (and the crickets) but nothing too bad!

The instructions sent on getting the keys to get into the room were very unclear. I also got a rude email reply from a manager a week after reaching out to ask about the best way to get into my room since I was arriving late. The people working the main booking email has been so helpful and had referred me to this other email. The manager then replied a week later telling me that because I was arriving late I would have to book a hotel and they would take me the next day. This response was sent two days after an automated email was sent from her giving instructions on how to get my key and get in on my own, without needing to check in in person. The manager telling me days before my stay that I needed to spend my first night elsewhere showed she wasn’t going to go out of her way at all to help me, and even then there was an easy way to get in that she had decided not to tell me about in response to my question.

The thoughtfulness and kindness of lady on reception and the lady who prepared my room and guided me to it, the ambience of the place, it's cleanliness, the generously proportioned accomodation, the view from the window, the generous parking, the comfort and the proximity to the centre of the city: first rate!

I received the wrong access code and no room number and had to wait two hours to figure out my room late at night

The cleanliness of the place and the common area were nice. The room was quiet and big enough for two people. The bed was a bit small but not horrible. The room was quite cold but I put on layers. They did have a heater, but I couldn't figure out how to use it. Mostly young people and students live in the aparthotel The aparthotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to a bus to get you into the city center. For the cost of the hotel it was doable.

About a 35-40 minute walk to Aix, it was much further than I had previously thought. On Google Maps, if you put in "Student Factory," it was not the area it says it is. The manager of the place was not nice when I first arrived. I requested an early check-in which was approved and when I got there, the room was not ready. She told me I could wait for the room to be cleaned or go find another hotel (meanwhile I would not be reimbursed for my troubles). I had to wait almost two hours for the room to be cleaned because they don't have storage lockers for bags. The policy of the aparthotel is that the room would be cleaned 24 hours in advance of my arrival. That did not happen. I wasted part of my day sitting in the lobby, and I am confused about why it took them so long to clean a pretty small room. I was told they were making a bed, but it took them almost 45 minutes to "make a bed". When I got into the room it smelled heavily of cleaning supplies, hence why the 24-hour policy is put into place.

No communication between hotel to me, I was struggled to find someone to help but no one there at the time of arrival even though i was not late for check in. I found out that i need to check my email for information how to check in from the other guest who checked in before me and that was almost an hour after i arrived to this property, In the information written check in time at 15:00 - 23:30 but that was a lie, i arrived at 22:00 and found out no one there at the place on Saturday and it was disappointed me as i was not late and i’m a solo traveler so i contacted Booking.com staff for help, At this point i have to wait at least 15 mins then after that i still received no answer then again i was trying to contact someone who work here to help me to check in by asked people who lives there then he gave me a telephone number then i called but guess the line was transfer to auto phone reply and all info given was in French which i couldn’t understand at all. I was almost cry, then after 50 mins one guy came to give me suggestion to check my junk mail and finally i found the door code and he translated that email into English for me to go to my room and etc. That was the most terrible experienced stay i ever had, Bonus point the location was terrible I don’t suggest any solo traveler or the guest who doesn’t have car to stay here. Even the taxi is very hard to find, You are really stay in the middle of nowhere
