About this house rental
Situated in Fraser, this charming house for $797 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Our barn red cabin welcomes you with an inviting front porch with beautiful teak rocking chairs to sip your drink and take in the glorious sunsets. This large newer home has 3 spacious levels plus a one car garage.The main level has a half bath as you enter, large fully equipped kitchen with island seating for 4, granite counter tops, lots of knotty alder cabinets and a 5 burner gas stove. Dining room opens up to huge vaulted great room with gas fireplace, floor to ceiling windows for unobstructed views of The Continental Divide. We made the deck extra big which runs the entire width of home with comfy seating and a natural gas barbecue grill. There is also a laundry room with plenty of hooks for coats. The master bedroom finishes off this level with a king bed with fully upholstered head board, walk in closet, cable/smart t.v. and private bath with travertine shower. The upper level was a spacious loft area that we enclosed to make another private master suite. This room has a king bed, cable/smart t.v., large closet and tub/shower combo in the private bath. We've recently added a twin daybed to the loft area The walk out lower level has 2 more bedrooms. One queen bedroom and a king ensuite. There is a hall bath with shower/tub combo that will serve both the bunk room and the queen bedroom right beside it. The lower level living space mimics the square footage of the great room above it. It has 2 bunks with queen over queen beds. Another king master suite is off of this living area with a private bath with shower, walk in closet and beautiful views. This level also has a large living/meda room with sofa (hide-a-bed), loveseat, chair and ottoman and a smart tv. Walk out the sliding glass doors to the patio which has a hot tub that seats up to seven people. Soaking in this amazing hot tub you will also have unobstructed, breathtaking views of the mountains. Party lights on both upper deck and over hot tub area provide just the right ambience. This home is professionally decorated (by owner), has amazing radiant floor heat throughout with individual thermostats. We have tried to provide every convenience that we would want when vacationing. There is a large cable/smart t.v. in great room above fireplace, also ceiling fans in 2 of the master bedrooms and the great room. All bedrooms are carpeted. We also have a portable crib and high chair for the baby. Walk out the door for hiking, fishing and mountain biking. We are conveniently located to the recreation center which has a pool, work out area and sauna. 10 minutes from Winter Park Resort and Mary Jane for world class skiing at every level. We have compiled a book with everything you need to know about the area, with restaurant suggestions, activities from tubing hills, dog sled rides to snowmobiling. It is truly a magical place that is a wonderland in the winter and Heaven in the summer with wild flowers everywhere, no humidity and hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails. Winter Park is truly a family resort, catering to kids with lots of recreation at the base in the summer time, our favorite being the alpine slide! We are two couples from St. Louis that have built our bucket list dream home and it is amazing in every aspect! The living areas are extremely spacious and comfortable so no one will ever feel crowded, even with large groups. Both couples have a son that have made their homes in Fraser. We are so excited to share our mountain home with you!

My family and I had an amazing time at Karen’s home — the pictures don’t do it justice. There was plenty of room and space to accommodate all 12 of us without feeling too crowded and it was in a perfect location. Easy access to the bus stop to get to the resort and close by the grocery store and many restaurants. Karen is incredibly friendly and very responsive! She was very quick to help out and answer any questions we had. If the home is available, BOOK IT! You won’t regret it. Thank you again, Karen!

This house was perfect for our extended family. There was lots of space for all of us, a great deck and hot tub as well! The queen bunk beds were great for all of our college boys who are too big for regular bunk beds. It is the perfect location in Fraser/Winter Park. It is convenient and close to everything, but also set back enough to give you the peace and quiet of the mountains. The owners were very responsive and helpful with our questions. Hoping we will be again!

We had such a wonderful week in this home! It was very spacious and easily accommodated our family of 11. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Those family members in the bunk room especially appreciated the radiant heat in the lower level. It was so great to have two areas to congregate in and the kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. The owner was easy to communicate with. We would book this place again!

Our group of four families thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. We’ve gotten together for a winter getaway every year since 2011 so we’ve stayed in several homes and the layout and comfort of this one was excellent.
The media and bunk rooms were great spaces for the kids. Views are beautiful.
Location ideal…some of us even used the free shuttle just down the road to get home from skiing. Karen was incredible to work with…she even got us more towels dropped off…above and beyond-thank you!!

This place has it all from a beautiful view to having all the spices and kitchen tools you might need for your stay. This owner really thought of EVERYTHING someone could possibly need in there vacation stay. If I i forgot to bring something this home was already stocked with it which made are vacation go smoothly and we had more time to enjoy our stay. Beautiful home and owner responded in a timely manner if I had a question.

This house was great just what our three families needed. Room for the kids in their own space while the parents could play cards after a long day on the mountain. And the lift picks up right by the house which is a great plus.

Great location and communication with the host. Only recommendation would be to put down some mats and de-ice the hot tub area. There was pretty thick ice and it was dangerous.

The hot tub was very nice after a full day of skiing. The snow shovel was a handy find for a full week of continuous snow. The neighbors even shoveled one day! When the power went off due to the Denver fires, Karen called to check on us and tell us where to find candles/flashlights. Great trip to Winter park ski area!

Fun family trip!
The property was wonderful, as was the owner. Helpful ahead of time and during the stay, answering questions and accommodating needs. Kitchen was best I’ve ever used in a rental—everything for a whole Thanksgiving feast. Had several kids with us. Awesome to have all the gear there already. Beautiful views. Can’t wait to come back!

We had three generations for a seven day vacation. Karen was wonderful to work with prior to check-in and throughout our stay. The home has plenty of room for the 8 adults and 6 children in our party. We planned diner meals prior to arrival and stopped at Safeway across the highway and picked up the food on the way into to town. The house has plenty of cooking utensils to cook evening meals. Days were spent with the activities in Winter Park and the surrounding areas. And the recreation center was within walking distance from the house for the kids to enjoy the indoor pool. Evening were spent at the house with great meals and family games. The home is stocked with every game you could want to play. The house had sufficient water and water pressure for this large group. The grandkids enjoyed the the cows grazing in the pasture behind the house. The cows would come close the the fence in the evening while grazing. The adults enjoyed the beautiful humming birds that would frequent the feeder hanging outside the large deck windows. Definitely a great, fun experience.

There's a nice little trail across the street if you want to go for a walk. The house is not far off the main road thru Fraser so you are conveniently located to all the stores and restaurants. The check in process was really easy and Karen was quick in responding to any questions we had. She was so nice! The views of the mountains were just awesome. Being able to sit out on the deck and enjoy those views made it a great stay, even when I had to log in to work. If you have the chance to book this house, I would highly recommend it.

It was a last minutes trip and I was looking for last minute place. I sent a note to confirm availability and to answer a question. She replied immediately, really, I had a response in a minute. I requested the booking and again received an immediate confirmation. The next day when arrived checkin was a breeze, with the key code. And we had a very pleasant surprise, the unit was actually much nicer the pictures and the write up indicate. The place is amazing, kitchen is stocked with everything you need, lots of spices/cooking items not usually included, lots of room to spread out of kids and adults. The hot tub is top of the line Hot Springs, and was a big hit. The views from the large deck are great. The house book is written up nicely with complete directions for everything. Great recommendations for restaurant, actives, etc. The owner checked in top make sure we got checked in okay, and answered all my questions, about parking at Winter Park, ski rentals, lift tickets, etc. And let me know there is a shuttle to the resort that picks you up just a shot walk from the front door,. The house was great for a large group, plenty of space for everyone without feeling crowded. The property has a lot of open space for little ones to run around and still feel safe. It's located less than 5 minutes to town and close to Winter Park for skiing.
