We enjoyed the quiet set in the trees, the welcoming cake set out for our arrival, and the directions to a lovely beach. We spent time in quiet conversation in the cabin and enjoyed the trails on the property. The presence of our dog made the time away from home complete. It's so nice to be able to bring our dog along.

I loved staying at the huckleberry house! It was the perfect spot to celebrate an anniversary with my partner. Even in January during a particularly cold time, we still loved the forest walks, hot tub, and even cooked ourselves a steak dinner in the outdoor firepit! I can't wait to come back in the future to see the place in different seasons.

This is exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is warm, cozy, and clean. The grounds were beautiful. It felt really secluded yet was only a short drive from town. We loved exploring the trails which had little seating areas and surprises throughout. The hot tub was clean and in good repair, and had ample privacy. In fact, despite being right near the host's home, we had complete privacy. The host obviously went to great lengths to ensure peace and solitude for the guests. The only thing I could think to improve would be that some of the trails were hard to follow and were not clearly marked in some spots. Not a big deal though. A+ 5 stars, it was a wonderful weekend for us.

Came looking for a relaxing weekend away, Huckleberry cabin was so much more. Quiet comfortable pretty enchanting. The trails were great, full of all sort of surprises. There are so many details from the tree house, the hotub, fire pit, cozy cabin and of course the gnomes. Would definitely stay again. Scott and Ruth were lovely.

Not accurate about the listing. Was not comfortable staying in the property with somebody else. Showed up and left I didn’t even stay the night.
