Great experience all the way around. Perfect location on the water and so close to the beach! Very comfortable home with all of the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Our hosts made us feel like family and are close enough to handle anything we needed. We will definitely be back.

My husband, myself and our 2 doggies stayed for 2 months, March-April and had a wonderful time!! Location is everything, and this was absolutely fantastic!! Just across the street from the beach, what more could you ask for!! We loved it!! We also spent every morning (and sometimes evenings) out on the dock right behind the house watching “our” manatees that played there every day. It was, by far, the highlight for us, being able to sit with them every day. I even named them!! We were comfortable in the house, and would, without a doubt, return to this wonderful place. We met the owners, and they were fantastic, as well!!

My husband and our 2 labs stayed at this adorable beach cottage for 1 month. We loved every minute of it. The grounds are very tropical and on a pretty canal. Large 2 bd 2 ba with a pretty screened in lanai where we spent alot of time. Beds comfy, ac excellent and overall very comfortable. Right across from the most beautiful beach and sunsets. 3 restaurants within walking distance. Whitneys across street. Marvista and the Shore a 5 minute walk down to the intercoastal. There are also 2 piers and alittle Beach to watch dolphins and the sun rise on the intercoastal. We walked everywhere. Only publix we drove and Harry's restaurant. So sad to leave this lovely little hideaway. Don't miss it!!

It was a great location on the canal, which gave us full access to the main waterway in our canoe. Lots of mangroves and wildlife in the area, and we even had three manatees visit us on the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved the house and the great location to the key. The beach is like a 3 min walk across the street and small touristy shops are like a 5 min drive. They have a dock out the back where you can see manatees and fish. It’s great! It’s pretty private and the area is quiet. The wifi was good also. The owner was really easy to communicate with.

We stayed at palm cottage for 40 days and enjoyed every single day here on longboat key. The house is set back in its own private setting surrounded by palm trees and flowering plants. It has its own private dock at the end of the canal where you can fish or sit in the screened in lanai and watch the different wildlife anywhere from birds to fish to a curious raccoon. The house is a comfortable 2 bedroom and 2 bath house with kitchen, living room and dinning area. It is a very easy walk across the street to the public beach to swim or watch the sunset and catch a dolphin swim by. Kayak rentals are a block away, some shops and places to eat are all within walking distance also. Palm cottage is a work in progress, many updates were made and some things still need updated to make this a true first class, 5 star rental. Updating or not, I would stay again without hesitation. The owner is very easy to talk to and lives nearby and always responded to any question we had about the house or recommendations on places to shop or places to eat.
