Great ski trip house.
This home is perfect for a ski trip. It had a concrete mud room for getting on your ski gear and taking it off at the end of the day. There is also a wall mounted boot drier!
The bunk beds and queen sized and made of great quality wood.
Tons of room upstairs to socialize and feel comfortable. Nice wood burning furnace inside as well!
You also have your own private forest in the backyard where you can enjoy a fire.
Overall great stay and would highly recommend for a ski trip. You are walking distance from the gondola!!

Group of friends stayed here recently. Great place and well geared up for an active ski holiday. Boot warmers/dryers in the gear room were perfect. This place is rustic and a little older, and the location is fantastic. the big windows face south and get lots of sun too.

If you are looking for a place with great gear storage and a super chill vibe then this is your place to stay. If you are uptight and want up to date decor and amenities then look elsewhere.
For a guys bike trip it was perfect.

There were 5 of us who stayed and we all had an excellent experience. Even though the chalet isn’t fancy, it was VERY clean, no ignored areas. The kitchen was thoroughly stocked and well organized with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and plastic and foil wrap. There are games and reading material, a sound system (cord a little janky), And plenty of seating (inside and out). The bathroom fixtures are new and clean, there are lots of towels and the bedding is clean. I slept downstairs and while it felt a little damp, this was easily remedied by turning on the baseboard heater and pulling back blankets during the day. Lots of firewood was provided (fire pit in the back).
We had excellent communication with the property manager who replied to us within minutes when we had questions.
All in all we highly recommend this Very spacious And clean chalet if you are not looking for luxury Accommodations. Thank you Nicole.

pro: close to ski area
ski boot drying system
big main living room area
bathrooms looked pretty new
con: ripped upholstery
the house is completely :unfinished: needs a paint job. chipped, holes in walls. floors are concrete with filthy rugs. downstairs walls are concrete as well. it was cold and damp. no ski rack that could be locked. there is no trim or moulding on the walls and floors. polyester sheets and bedding. ech! few window coverings. the 'den' is a waste of space. it serves no function and the couch is filthy as well.

Nice stay right off the mountain
We had a large group our for a ski trip- and this property was great in accommodating us. The rooms are tidy, the manager is easy to communicate with and the location is ideal for anyone who spends their days on the hill

Beautiful Revelstoke
We had a great stay at this property! It was clean and had everything we needed. It’s tucked away from downtown which makes it more private. I would recommend for sure. Much more affordable than some of the other “high end” places we looked at.

Perfect for big groups
Very accommodating didn’t need to bring anything, plenty of towels. At our pace it was a 10 minute walk to the gondola. Fridge needs some repairs.

This was exactly what we were looking for on our stay at Revelstoke.
I would recomend this property to anyone heading to Revelstoke in the summer. Perfect for family’s looking for a quiet place to get away from the hustle of town in the summer.

Pleasant place in overall
Although the entrance through a garage side door not fully finished, upstairs are very welcoming, especially owner provides almost everything you need like you live at your own home, very convenient. And, the location is also very good, just several minutes of walking to the mountain resort.

Overall it was great
Overall it was great, lots of space, her quiet and clean. Did not like the basement much but the upper level was great! Would be great to add a BBQ. Did not expect not to have one. Would recommend!

Perfect place for guys ski trip
We had 9 guys and this house was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space and the room near the garage set up like a locker room for skiing made getting in and out of ski gear very convenient.

Great location and the chalet has a great common area for a large group of people.
Enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The location was very convenient for accessing the base of the mountain, which was within walking distance. The kitchen area and sitting areas were great for socializing. However, the chalet could use some updates in the main bathroom and the bedrooms - more wall plugins in the bedrooms would be lovely :)

Disappointed
Our family was disappointed with this home. The picture of the main floor looked nice so I booked it, but we arrived to find the LOWER LEVEL of the home is a musty basement. The secluded Queen Room is very dark with four walls of concrete and no windows...right next to the water heater and forced air units in the basement. Both twin beds are also in the musty basement (at least this room has a small window) Maybe for a group of ski guys it would be fine but I didn't want my kids sleeping all the way down in that basement without us. If you sleep in basement you need to hike up the stairs to use the bathroom. Toilet on mid level has handle broken off so my husband had to reach his hand in tank to get it to flush. Stairs have no railing to climb up. Toilet has a sliding door for privacy but rest of bathroom is open to sliding door and living room...so you need to change clothes right next to the toilet. I killed 15 mosquitos in the home the night we stayed and the kids were covered with bites. The wireless internet didn't work which made it hard because we didn't have phone service in Canada. The owner refunded our second night as we didn't stay so that was nice. However we spent the next day of our vacation looking for somewhere to stay instead of enjoying it. They said they will be making some changes so perhaps these issues will be addressed.

Stayed July 2016 for family vacation
Travelled to Revelstoke for a family holiday with the grandkids. Our family of 4 children aged 4-9 and 5 adults were looking for an reasonably priced alternative to motels. The property was very accessible to town and surrounding area, the yard gave the grandkids some room to play without worrying about traffic etc. Cute little brook behind the house was nice but there were a lot of mosquitos, not the fault of the property, just a fact of summer life. Nicole was wonderful to work with and very helpful providing information to local area attractions. The chalet worked well for what we needed to give all of us some room and yet privacy. The main floor and loft were very nice but the lower basement level could use a bit of work. Beds weren't the most comfortable but we all managed. The property provided what we needed at an affordable price. The local attractions that we saw were great including the new pipe mountain coaster (#1 on everyone's list - had to do twice), Enchanted Forest, SkyTrek Adventures, Three Valley Gap and the local pool that the kids raved about. Revelstoke is certainly a must do destination for some summer fun.

Quite, clean, cute & cozy!
We had a ladies weekend retreat sort of thing and every single one of us enjoyed this place. The location was perfect, being as it is only 1 minute away from the ski lodge/mountain coaster and only a few minutes from town. Plenty of room for all of us to have a comfortable sleep. If we plan on doing this again, we would definitely come back to this cabin.
Thanks!! :)

Perfect family get away experience.
Hi Nicole
We wanted to extend our thanks and gratitude for allowing us to rent your Chalet. We were able to meet as a family for the Easter weekend and the accommodations were ideal for us. We enjoyed a fun filled ski family experience complete with easter egg hunt in your back yard forest for the little ones. We hope to be able to enjoy your home for future gatherings.

Comfy cabin at the base of the mountain
Six of us, all in our early 30s, had an absolute blast staying here while we snowboarded in Revelstoke for three days. The chalet was well suited to start and end our days on the hill. Sleeping accommodations and bedding were top notch, plenty of room so long as a few don't mind sharing the bunk bed room. The two bathrooms allowed everyone to quickly shower up each day. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies/cutlery/etc. The ski/mud room complete with gear dryer was just the ticket to take care of our equipment.
A perfectly quiet location with a mere 5 minute walk to the gondola. You need to drive to get anywhere else in town, but after a grocery trip what else do you need?? The town even has a beer delivery service. No complaints, would stay here again in a heartbeat!
