The property was well appointed. Extremely comfortable master bed and fantastic view overlooking Oyster Pond, the Marina, and out over the ocean. The outdoor pool area is very large. The indoor furniture was very comfortable. Our host was on-the-spot responsive for any (we had very few) needs that we had. Access to park our rental car inside the garage would have been a nice perk.

Myself, my husband and three children have family on SXM and wanted to surprise them with a visit. Deciding on Villa Angelina was easy when looking at the pictures. I am happy to say that everything was even more impressive in person! Check in was easy, an escort met us at our place of choice (for us it was the rental car company) took us to the house, walked us around and showed us basically anything we would need to know. There is a binder full of useful information- WiFi, security system, checkout info, housekeeping service, etc. The property manager was very responsive, though she was only needed for minor information. The home is extremely well stocked, including the kitchen (any and all dishes and basic necessities needed) and bathrooms-they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, an abundance of towels, and so much more available. And the view would take our breath away every time we stepped outside, or looked out a window… just breathtaking!
Internet was very strong, we were there when Phillipe was coming through. Never lost power or internet. The Dutch side of the island was completely shut down but my children were still entertained with the games the have in the home, the TV/internet and pool!
We will definitely book here again in the future, thank you for the wonderful stay!

Exhausted from the flight, then entered absolute paradise. The pictures don't do this place justice. If you've never been to St. Martin, please read the "how to" messages we left in the Guest Book for future guests so you don't waste time/precious days finding things on the island. Beautiful weather, gorgeous property, stunning views --- can't wait to return.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Angelina in Sint Maarten. Alan was a very responsive host and dealt with my queries promptly. He kindly arranged for us to be met at the airport, by Roger. This was very much appreciated and took the stress out of trying to find the villa on our own. The welcome pack, which greeted us, was also a very thoughtful and generous gesture.
The villa was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, with spectacular views over the ocean. Sharon came in halfway through our visit to clean the villa and provide fresh linen and towels.
The location is fantastic and close to several very good restaurants for lunch and dinner, which we enjoyed sampling. The villa was a great place to come back to each day after touring the island.

Wonderful stay at Villa Angelina. The spectacular views are the highlight of this property! The furnishing are lovely and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The only suggestion I have would be that the pool be heated so we could further enjoy our time on the expansive deck overlooking Oyster Pond.

This is the relaxing, quiet side of SXM and it is glorious. The views were incredible. I’m not a morning person, but still we found ourselves leaving the shutters and curtains open in the main bedroom so that we could wake up to the incredible sunrises. The lows were 75F and highs of 80F every day we were there. We bought groceries at Carrefour and had fresh baked pain au chocolat from Zee Best Bakery that we found in the frozen food section (they came out amazing!). The ONLY downside to the location is that you can’t really walk anywhere without it at least being a major uphill hike on the way back. That hill is STEEP. We rented the smallest car the company had and it felt like it was going to die on the way up some of the hills on the island, until I learned how to shift the automatic transmission manually, so be prepared to do that! You don’t want a huge vehicle if you can help it as the roads aren’t designed for it.
About the property itself, it’s beautiful and reasonably well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped, though it could use a few more leftover storage containers (a very minor thing). There are signs of all the storms Villa Angelina has weathered, but you really have to be looking for them. We visited in early January, so the pool was a bit on the cooler side, but still quite reasonable for a quick dip. There is laundry upstairs, too, so the next time we go, we can pack even lighter!
I could write about it forever, but all in all, we loved staying at Villa Angelina and absolutely fell in love with the island. I can’t wait for the next visit!

Beautiful stay in St Martin
The home was just as listed, private, spacious and clean. The views from the pool and patio were beautiful. If we make it back to St. Martin we would stay there again.

Villa Angelina was absolutely wonderful
Our stay at Villa Angelina was absolutely wonderful. We have stayed at many Villa throughout the Caribbean but this Villa was the best. The Villa has great views with a great location. The Villa itself is very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. The Villa has fast WIFI, Satellite TV, and secured by a electric gate and burglar alarm. Natesha and Roger are the best. We highly recommend this Villa, and cannot wait to return.

The villa was in a safe and private neighborhood and we really enjoyed its location on the island. It had a well equipped kitchen, nice bedrooms and bathrooms with good linens. Roger meeting us at the airport was a nice bonus and emails with Natesha on any questions were answered promptly and very helpful. I’d say the only things I wish I had known or been prepared for ahead of time were the steep stairs getting from the driveway to the house and also that visiting in early April the pool would be too cold for our comfort (no heater and about 76 degrees) which was a bit disappointing for our teen son who likes to swim in slightly warmer water. Overall, it was a great trip and nice place to stay.

Beautiful views, clean and spacious property
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Angelina very much. Greeted with thoughtful welcome basket. Property managers Natesha and Paul were extremely responsive in addressing minor glitches (TV didn't work, power outage caused us to be temporarily locked in as Gate couldn't open). Lovely to wake up every morning to such stunning views.

We stayed here for a week in late February. The house is very well equipped and has terrific views. Unfortunately there are still a half a dozen partially sunk or crashed boats still left in the view from Irma. The marinas in Oyster Pond remain devastated so there is no nightlife here at all.
There is good security from the guards at the entrance to the home sites.
The best thing is that we were less than ten minutes from Orient Beach which is nearly fully recovered and we had great meals and beach service there at Bikini Beach. We loved Saint Maarten overall and had fun visiting many other beach bars...highly recommend Friars Bay Beach Club.
This was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring all the island has to offer.

Fantastic stay
We loved this place. Amazing views. Very large living area and two outdoor dining areas. Extremely well equipped - kitchen gear etc. - much more so than most. Well maintained. Would highly recommend. We found the north entrance easier to drive than the south (it’s a loop road, and both entries are gated to this high-end community.)

Villa Angelina is an absolute gem! The views are spectacular. There is plenty of room for a whole family, two couples, or just two adults like us. The Villa far exceeded our expectations. We have visited St Maarten for the past 25 years. Have had Time Shares and even stayed at tbe Westin. Now we are asking ourselves WHY? Angelina is private, spacious, very comfortable and has SPECTACULAR views. It is less expensive than the time share crazy game and certainly better than staying at a resort on the island. A special thank you to owner Alan and his great staff! Natesha. The BEST! We will return. Thank so very much!

No better place to be!
There really is no better view on the island than to be on the side of the hill facing oyster pond. You're looking over a beautiful area filled with gorgeous yachts, the hillside across the pond sprinkled with lovely, multicolored homes. Off to your right is an amazing view of Saint Barts. This is the view we drank coffee and had a swim to each morning, and finished the day at sunset with a glass of wine.
The house itself is well appointed and well air-conditioned. Very nice kitchen which means a lot to me because I like to cook. We were with friends who had never been to Saint Maarten so we gave them the master suite facing oyster pond. They were very impressed. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and are very comfortable as well.
The pool area is very private and secluded. Although there is a house next door with a veranda overlooking a part of this property, most of the pool and the veranda area were completely secluded if sunbathing in your birthday suit is a must.
You are on a hillside so it is a bit of a climb in the car, but you will have no problem getting there. It is a gated property and we always felt very secure. Time always flies when you're having fun. And it did.
We very much look forward to visiting again.

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Angelina. It was everything the photos showed and so much more. Clean, well-maintained, it was just a delight. And the views???? I'm still missing my morning sunrise on the deck.... Thank you for a wonderful stay at a wonderful place.

Everything you would dream about in a Villa in the Caribbean
This is by far THE best place to stay in St. Maartens. I inquired about the Villa and I got a response back from Alan within hours. We talked on the phone several times and he informed me about the Villa. We made the reservation and upon our arrival we met Jill, the property manager, just like she had promised in her e mail. We got our rental car and Jill lead us to the Villa. She was so kind and allowed us to stop off at the store while she waited patiently.
After we got our groceries we headed for the Villa. By this time it was night and Jill showed us around the Villa. She took us to the outdoor area and the view was spectacular. The lights from the homes and the harbor below were breath taking. Jill told us wait till morning it gets better. The next morning we walked out on the outdoor area and she was right!! It was unbelievable!! The harbor below full of boats. You could see Anguilla to the left and St. Barts and dawn beach to the right. The colorful roofs of the homes were amazing. Then out there was the Atlantic Ocean as far as the eye could see. The water so blue. Another great thing about the outdoor area is the quietness. Out there you heard no traffic noise just the sound of the wind. By the way, the wind kept the area from getting hot hot.You also have a big fresh water private swimming pool. Everything so beautiful!!! It was hard to leave the area to go inside. But just as exciting as the outdoor area was the inside of this home. The living room was huge with a large TV and Dish network that has tons of channels. Next to living room was a massive kitchen that had everything you need to cook a great meal. The place was very clean and bug free. That was just the downstairs. Take the stairs up to the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths ( one bathroom is on first floor). Huge master bedroom with gorgeous views from every window!! We looked down at the various hotels and wondered why you would stay there in a tiny room when you could stay at Angelina for the same price and you have this beautiful home. Thank you Alan and Angela for opening up your home for us to enjoy. We have stayed at different Villas in the Caribbean and have never stayed at such a luxurious place. You truly have a Villa that my wife and me can't stop talking about to our friends.

Our second year at Angelina and it was great again. Spectacular views making breakfast outside a must. We found some great places to eat that we had not tried before within a few minutes of the villa. Still a great place to enjoy the island.

Great villa!
Returned from a 10 day stay at the villa. The villa was beyond our expectations and I never thought that it would be as nice as displayed in the pictures but it actually was!! I would absolutely return to this villa and honestly cannot wait to return (didn't want to leave to begin with).

Enjoyed perfectly located villa!
We spent a very happy week at villa Angelina for March break. The location in Oyster Pond is absolutely perfect for exploring the island and the view from the villa itself is spectacular. Our group consisted of my wife and I, our 8 year old son, and my wife's parents. The villa couldn't have been better for an extended family group like ours: 3 private bedrooms and baths, lots of space (with two balconies, upper and lower sitting areas and a spacious dining area) and a fully functioning, modern kitchen. The set-up allowed everyone to get up and get coffee/breakfast at their own pace and snack/have a glass of wine as they wished. My in-laws loved the Turner classic movies via the satellite TV and they babysat for us several times while my wife and I enjoyed the fantastic restaurants in Oyster Pond and the surrounding area. This was our fourth visit to St. Maarten, but our first time renting a villa and we were very pleased with Villa Angelina's location and amenities. It was an excellent jumping off point for day trips to Orient Beach, Grand Case and Pinel Island; and it was the perfect spot to come home to and relax at the end of the day.
