Cleanliness

We chose this place to be in 1st line on the beach to experience the beauties of Sardinia. Unfortunately, this was ruined by huge industrial complex which is in your primary view both from the apartment's balcony, its roof but the beach itself as well. All of this is hiden from you in apartment's listing, where pictures pointing this direction are all taken during cloudy weather, so you cannot take decision to accept it or not upfront. In the spirit of transparency I am adding example pictures. Unfortunately, after arrival we discussed with owner possibility to shorten the trip by 2 days i.e. 25% of our stay this ,was denied without and consideration, very disappointing. The second, point to be aware of is the road next to the apartment is the main connection between nortwest of the island southwards. Not apparent from the map, but there is quite some traffic.

Daniela and her mother are very friendly and always easy to reach via WatApp. We enjoyed their great hospitality. The apartment is very big with 3 Bed-rooms, big living-dining area and balcony. The view over the inlet is amazing! There are 2 air conditions in the flat. Haus is located just 2 minutes to the next beach Spiaggia di Sottotorre. The beach is very full, but perfect for swimming with kids. Unfortunately, bar on that beach is closed. Besides, there are a lot of other beaches around. Within 40-60 min by car one can reach rocks, white sand, gold sand beaches. In 10-15 min wolking one can reach centre of Calasetta with a lot of nice bars, restaurants, pizzerias and ICE! Every evening there is some activities. It is very authentic; we have nave seen this kind of Italy.

I should notice, that house located at the main road from Calasetta, thus quite nosy overnight / not possible to sleep with open windows at all. As well, every morning from 6am waist collecting is taking place…glasses on Mondays:/. In general apartment is clean and tide, but the sanitary in bathroom an WC a bit too old, I would say back to 70x. In the kitchen we missed MW and tee-boiler. There is no any fire-place or grill available.

Daniela and Fausto are really top hosts. We enjoyed their great hospitality. The apartment is top equipped and located 2 minutes to the next beach. The view from the veranda is amazing. Short walk to the calasetta centrum with a lot of nice restaurant. We will come back again!

It’s a calm house. Direct contact to the host. He solved all problems in short time. in the time while corona, he informed us nearly in raaltime about the ability to come to Sardinia. Thank you Daniela and Fausto
