The house has a lot of character. Plusses are proximity to the beach, pool (although we did not use it), one story layout, clean. Downside: need some renovations to make it feel a little safer for families with young children and elderly. Overall, an enjoyable stay for our family.

We recognize the description stated the house is the 2nd oldest on the island. But the very selective photos and how they were portrayed was misleading. I’ll be to the point - the driveway is completely destroyed and needs to be replaced it literally is in chunks, the deck around the house is a complete liability the deck screws protruding out of deck boards, many of the deck boards are curling up and unsecured, the pool fence is equally in need of maintenance, overall condition of house exterior is horrible, the “roof top deck”you’d be risking life and limb to go up on that dilapidated structure it should be taped off, kitchen floor tiles are not even glued down and slide all over, shower towel bar broken maws “repaired” with chartreuse painters masking tape, the amount of trash and garbage around the entire property outside was insane - old window AC unit broken glass, out window screens chewing tobacco container used to hold water supply line in place, beer cans and food containers, threatening FAKE sign stating “CAMERAS ON” please, fridge vegetable drawer in back yard, dirty old floor mop left by the deck stairs, tv cables looked like a rats nest inside, the list can go on an on. I have photos of every infringement I have mentioned. We had a great trip but NONE of it was related tour rental. The owners need to re-evaluate renting if repairs are not made.

We had a wonderful week at Key West!! Walk to the beach was so easy and the pool was great to have. House was well stocked and our family enjoyed the screened in porch. There were even floats and beach toys there. Would stay again for sure.

When booking for our trip, the only things our group had in mind were: relaxation, comfortability and closeness to the beach. Siesta Key offered all of that and a little more! It’s a quaint and comfy cottage that had the guests in our party feeling like they were on vacation the moment they stepped inside. We really enjoyed just how close everything was— the restaurants, the lighthouse, the stores and most importantly the beach! The pool was clean and perfect for when you wanted to cool off after a day sat the beach. The kitchen was nicely stocked, bedrooms were comfy, we even walked up onto the observation deck to try and catch a sunset. The only issue we ran into was the toaster over door coming off of a hinge on day four, BUT we quickly told management and they came by that very same day and brought us a toaster for the rest of our trip! :) By the end of our trip, everyone was feeling nice and relaxed and even hesitated on wanting to leave. We don’t come to SGI often, but it has quickly become one of our favorite vacation spots and we will keep this property in mind for the next time we visit! We and our entire party had a great time! :)

We new this was an older home, but the yard was a mess. Our children got sand spurs in their feet just going to the pool. We have to make several trips to the store to get fish soap, toilet paper, pare towels etc. We would not recommend this location for the money we spent.

Great Location
Great Location
Property is as described. It’s a short walk to the beach and shops. The pool was great, and I was surprised the bunk room was larger than the picture shows. Kitchen was very clean. I love the feel of the older houses and not having stairs was great! I gave 4 stars because it needs updating. Especially the windows and decking. The backyard which isn’t pictured at all was a nice little surprise with all the shade. Communication with the host was excellent both before and during our stay.

This property is as described. It had everything we needed for a wonderful time. Great location, short walk to the ocean, across from a bike path and close to town. We really appreciated the pool and washer/dryer. Property owner and management company responsive if needed. You may have mansion envy staying here but it’s a great deal if you value not spending a lot and you don’t need fancy to have a wonderful, relaxing time. Would stay here again and that truly is the best thing I can say in a review.

Siesta Key is such as fun, quirky house! We've been coming to SGI for years, and we love the quaint beach cottages versus the massively overpriced McMansions cropping up. This house has charm, is a 2 minute walk from the beach, and is super cozy. Lots of space, a private pool, and close to everything! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My husband and I had a great time.
