Your Newly Renovated Oceanfront Vacation Home: In June 2018, the Condo unit had a total renovation including installation of new artwork, new 24" X24" porcelain tile and baseboards, replaced kitchen counter-top with enlarged 40" wide Quartz top, new sink and brushed nickel faucets with four new full-sized stools, complete renovation of master bathroom with new walk-in glass shower, new vanities, sinks and fixtures in both bathrooms, 100% freshly painted. All new living room furniture including, new queen sofa bed, chair, coffee and side tables, new diving, fishing and tourist books and magazines. This newly renovated condo offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms that fits six guests comfortably. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a newly renovated master suite bathroom with a new walk-in glass shower. The second bedroom has two twin size beds with direct access to the guest bathroom. The sleeper sofa in the living room is perfect for two additional guests to sleep comfortably. We are pleased to provide kitchenware, microwave, TVs, towels, quality bedding, and more! The property is managed on-site and is available to fulfill any needs you may have during your stay. Ocean Front Resort: Located minutes away from great restaurants, shopping, and the best outdoor activities Key Largo has to offer, Ocean Pointe is the perfect place for you and your family to go on your next vacation! Conveniently located 90 minutes from the Miami International Airport at mile marker 92.5, the 62-acre gated property offers an ocean front resort surrounded by breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and a mangrove forest. On-site amenities include a marina, lighted tennis courts, BBQ grills inside a picnic area, a heated pool and sundeck, a newly constructed walkway/pier to a tiki hut on the beach, and free guest parking. Guests are welcome to bring boats up to 28’ to the on-site marina for an additional charge based on a first come, first serve basis. Boat docking fees and additional information are available upon request. If you are looking to unwind and relax, grab a lounge chair on the private oceanfront beach or take a walk on the pier surrounded by the gorgeous blue waters. Great morning sunrises. Cleaning could be better. Shower would not drain because of hair in the drain and tile floors look really clean but a look at your socks after walking on it tell a different story. Hard to get around the Keys in a car but nothing can be done about that. Would stay again if I can stand the slow driving in the Keys.

The property was clean and in a great location. The furniture was not the same as in the pictures, but no issues with the furnishings. There are pictures of a bar/cafe in the property listing. I was very disappointed to find that the pool bar and Marina bar/cafe have been closed since June. It would have been nice to know that these facilities are no longer available.

Wow, what a place! Perfect for families! My husband and I with our almost 3 year old and 6 month old came down for the week of Thanksgiving. We loved the location and the facilities. Our kiddos loved swimming in the pool in the evenings. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice place to stay. No surprises Relaxing with a great view. Pool was nice and location was solid. Fransisco was a great host. All in all a good experience. Only negatives were that it would be nice to have a decent balcony and air conditioning was very loud.

This is my 5 th time on property love it every time especially in the fall it’s quite an peaceful very good communication very on top of things there is a bait freezer in the room where the trash shoot is at the bottom used it quite often

The condo was beautiful. It was nicely decorated, clean, and well furnished. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. The pool is amazing. The beach is small, but nice and has a boardwalk out to a small tiki hut. There was a very nice view of the ocean from the condo.

The restaurant and the bar were closed for renovations, despite the description stating that it was open. The owner must have known this, but didn't bother to share it with me. Had we known the restaurant was closed we would have stayed elsewhere. The owner was rude over the phone and misled us. The patio was very small and there was cat hair and cat litter in the dryer when we arrived

Great location for families due to pool, tennis, and beach amenities. We spent the day visiting the keys and each evening swimming in the pool with the kiddos! Conveniently close to nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The condo itself had what we needed but the “updated renovations” were from 2018 because the condo itself needs a lot of updating. A kitchen drawer was completely missing and general aspect of the condo such as furniture, cabinets, and appliances need to be updated.

Overall I was disappointed. I really wanted something on the beach. That one was on me, as it did say ocean view. I’ve always had ocean front. The condo was nice;; however the master shower had not been cleaned as there was a thick layer of hair covering the drain, a cover of a razor was laying on the floor. The shower was overall disgusting. Other than than that, the condo itself was great. Would recommend in general, as it did have a private beach and pier; but you had to walk to it. People were lovely and very nice.

This was an amazing condo. It was super clean when we arrived. Other reviews said it wasn’t clean and there was sand. Well, I found it to be very clean and no sandy floors. It is the beach and sand did get into the condo during the week but it was easy to sweep up. It was an amazing vacation with zero complaints!! The host was wonderful in communicating everything beforehand and about restaurants nearby and where to find the best key lime pie. Thank you again!!

We enjoyed our stay in Tavernier. Ocean Pointe is a nice community and this condo is super close to the pool which is a plus. We would stay again.

Nice secure property. Felt safe. Good communication with property manager. Pool area is awesome and had fun activities while we were there. Beach area is cute but was full of seaweed and not really a proper beach per say. Probably perfect for small kids. Loved the beds- comfy. Great views. AC was perfect and ceiling fans were great. The shower leaked quite a bit and the water temperature needs adjusting. It was burning hot. Even the sink water is warm. The kitchen could use a good cleaning. Cabinets need some TLC. Unit could use an upgrade on pots and pans and overall stocking of utensils. We enjoyed our stay. The area was perfect.

Great location to the pool, cafe and beach. It was in a central location for going out to restaurants. The AC works well and the hot water was amazing. I would recommend this property to my friends. The owner had great communication with us.

Spacious, comfortable condo, with all amenities but could’ve been 100% if given a more thorough cleaning and perhaps a paint job. Owner did respond quickly and had cleaning crew come back into address issues. Condo view was amazing as well as a nice pool and beach area. Easy to find off main highway in Tavernier.

We had an enjoyable stay! It was perfect for our little family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Location was great. We enjoyed the pool and the little beach. Master bed was comfortable, kids slept great so I’m guessing their beds were comfortable too! Fridge had some condiments, I’m guessing from previous guests. Condo was pretty clean but did find random hairs and a dried contact on the floor. Great communication from the host prior to arrival. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Key Largo!

We had to contact the host for the check in info and it took awhile to get a response back. The condo itself was okay. The floors were extremely sandy when we arrived and the master bathroom shower could of used a bit more cleaning but this was one of the cheaper units. The pool area was nice and so was the beach area. This unit is located close to both which was nice. Bring your own bath towels if you have more than 4 people and the sheets could stand to be replaced as well.

Overall, the property was very nice! We had a nice view of the marina and ocean. Pool area was very clean and well maintained. We would’ve liked to have seen more food options on property. Our particular condo was nice, but wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked, in particular the bathrooms. The primary bed was very comfortable! Could use more drink-ware in the kitchen, as the only option was wine glasses. An ice maker in the refrigerator would’ve been nice.

We stayed at this property for a week and for the very reasonable price, it was suitable for our needs. The location was perfect to explore the Keys with everything you could want to do within an easy drive. The condo was located in a community with a pristine and well kept pool, hot tub, and private beach. It felt safe and secluded enough for my grandsons to enjoy the area on their own. The owner was easy to contact and responsive to questions and concerns.
We only had two suggestions to improve the experience for guests. 1) If the guests plan to use the pull out couch bed, invest in new mattress for it and make sure housekeeping vacuums the sand out of it. The mattress springs were so uncomfortable, my grandsons had to put a comforter on it to cushion from the springs. 2) Ask housekeeping to do a more thorough cleaning job between guests. It was not filthy by any means...just needed more attention.
However, for the affordable price, the very low cleaning fee, and the responsiveness of the owner, the pros of this condo far outweighed the cons.

Good location, great pool area, level walking. Floors of unit were so dirty we had to throw out our white socks. Trim needs paint. Kitcjen needs a new coffee pot. Kitchen pantry needs to be redone. Washer/dryer unit needs exhaust needs to be cleaned out so dryer can vent better.

We were here for our summer vacation. We wanted to spend a week in the Florida Keys. The location was perfect for our trip and the complex was amazing! The condo was comfortable and clean. We were very happy with the owner. He had great suggestions when we asked and was very prompt with his responses. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place!!

Loved the location of the unit, just steps from both the amazing pool and dock/beach area. There were surprising finds, not sure if left by past guests or owner, that definitely added to our stay (pool and beach towels and toys). A few negatives- both DVD players in the unit didn’t work - normally don’t care but one day was a total wash out so we rented movies and couldn’t watch them. The master bedding was stained and just gross looking. But overall the location and responsiveness of the owner made up for this.

Fantastic Condo and FANTASTIC Host
Francisco was the best host and everything was just like the pictures and description. The condo was great for the 3 of us and it could of easily had another 2 or 3 guest. It has all the needs. The patio has great views, it is not big, but for the 3 of us it was great. The pool and hot tub at the facility let us relax from a full day of fun in the area. The check in was a breeze. One thing to remember bring your pool and beach towels, the facility does not loan them out, which was no big deal for us, we just went a got a few from the shop in town. I have been using VRBO/HomeAway for over 15 yrs. and I can tell you that Francisco is the best host I have ever dealt with, He was quick responding before the trip and gave the greatest instruction for check in.
I will be staying in this place yearly after this visit. You ask was there anything wrong with it? No Ice Maker, but a bag of ice was in the freezer, only one luggage cart and hard to find (not Francisco fault), and that is about it. I read some about cleanness, but that wasn't our case, I mean yea if you moved the dressers you might of found a piece of paper, but we didn't have any reason to move the dressers.
If you our a party of 3 to 5 you will not find another place in the area with this type of value for the location. Besides the Host is priceless and that really takes a lot of stress off your planning.

My wife and I loved this place. Good location between Islamorada and Key Largo. Wonderful eating places like Harriette's and Doc's for breakfasts; Snapper, Habanas and Robbies for Lunch and Dinner. John Pennekamp State Park close by for snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding. Robbies for jetski tour and paddleboarding. Ocean Pointe has great amenities; pool, beach, boardwalk to gazebo and docking for boats. I enjoyed fishing in the channel leaving the marina. The unit was wonderful. Second floor with views of the marina and Atlantic. Short walk to the pool. Food and bar on sight at the Marina. Francisco was a wonderful host and communicated very well. We plan to go back...
