This dog-friendly lake home is located just 12 miles west of Lexington and 40 minutes to downtown Columbia. It is nestled in the woods with a beautiful view of the lake from the house. It also has a big yard with plenty of room for outdoor activities, a dock, and a private hot tub. The deck is covered with shade trees, and there is an attached screened-in porch. Wireless internet access, air hockey, Ping-Pong, and a kayak are all available for your enjoyment! Additional perks include a new laundry area and an additional den. A boat ramp (Acapulco USA) is less than a half-mile away, and the local VFW Post is also just around the corner. This home is suitable for those with limited mobility and has a ramp for ease of access into the home. There are handrails in the master bathroom, which also has a wonderful walk-in shower with body jets. Things to Know This property is managed by Vacasa South Carolina LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Dock details: Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Hi Please past this message on to the owner. We rented this home last week and were very disappointed with this home. We expected an amazing vacation and got just the opposite. I have rented home in Lake Murray for many years and have always been happy. This home is overpriced for the condition of the home. 5 of my guests left on Wednesday as they were unhappy.
Overpriced and very disappointing. We should have had more than the comforts of home, rather than having to clean the hobtub, not be able to use the lounge chairs outside as they were moldy and not get the simple things in life, like a working TV or even a Keurig. Very very disappointed.

House and location were perfect for our week stay! House is open and well equipped and dock fit boat and jet ski perfectly. Will definitely be back!

We come to Lake Murray every summer and have yet to find a home we would want to stay in a second time until we stayed at Docs Landing. The location a great, beautiful huge deck and screened patio and an enormous swim spa overlooking the lake. The kitchen was so well stocked, we were able to cook the entire time with a large family room with enough seating for everyone . We will definitely stay again.

This is our second year staying at Doc’s landing and again this rental did not disappoint. Perfect spot for our large family and the boat rental facility was right in the same cove; very convenient. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need and Vacasa even supplied beach towels for your use down by the lake. 3 King beds and a bunk room for the kids. Overall great rental

Cleaning could have been better and the walkway to the lake definitely wasn’t the safest, had an issue with a ton of “inch worms” inside the house… but overall this home was so peaceful and calming. Kitchen very well stocked! Really enjoyed the swim spa too. The views are lovely as well. Would probably rebook for sure.

The house was VERY clean. Everyone loved dock, perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, or just floating and enjoying the sunset. The swim spa was a great feature, as well as the large deck and screened porch. Bonus that a great boat rental literally a stones throw away from the house.

That room has a king now and covers the one window in there. Fire pit had trash all around, 1 chair at the fire pit, weeds were cut the last day we were there and dirt got all over our stuff. The poolspa was nice.

We gathered with family to enjoy some lake & family time. We loved the location and ease of access to the lake. There somewhat of a slope downward but we didn’t find it difficult. The kitchen is a nice updated space and we enjoyed using it. It is obvious they have begun upgrades in the home but there is much left to do. Removing all carpet, pest control (tons of millipedes inside), dehumidification, drain/fill swim spa & balance chemicals, and upgraded mattresses would go a long way. The check in/out process was smooth and we enjoyed the swimming and fishing right from the property.

Perfect in every way, so comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, gorgeous views of the lake, right next door to marina…quiet and a great way to be with family and relax

Interior was very clean and very modern. Swim spa was fantastic honestly used it once because not being familiar with the controls I decided it was best, although very cool! Now bring everything you need because DG is the nearest store so be prepared. We drove over to BL for lunch at the root Cellar and He brews great food , approx 20-30 min drive but worth it. Overall we loved our stay.

The kitchen and master bath are new and very nice. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well stocked! The house advertises a hot tub but it’s a swim spa and 12-15 feet long. It’s amazing! And it’s covered, which was great because we got a lot of rain while we were there. The slope and walk down to the lake wasn’t bad at all (coming from someone with bad knees.) We thoroughly enjoyed this house and will go back!

Incredibly well equipped house, comfortable and clean. Lovely quiet cove with a fabulous dock. The massive hot tub is great fun. The addition of the stand up paddle boards makes up for the aging kayaks. We had a great week - thanks!!!

Fabulous Vacation Home
We spent two weeks at Doc's Landing and truly enjoyed our stay. Home was clean, kitchen was well equipped and the open floor plan was perfect for our large family. The hot tub was an added bonus. Although we had no complaints, if it were my rental, I would create a more appealing back yard area. We were very pleased with this vacation rental and plan to rent again next summer.

Thank you for a great stay! Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Rented a boat during our stay as well - highly recommended! Property is well kept in a quiet area. Few small suggestions I will send by email that can be easily remedied, nothing that took away significantly from the experience. Will likely return next May for another graduation.

We loved everything about this house. It was very comfortable,we played with all the toys and the ping pong table and air hockey. The dock was great for swimming and fishing. All the rooms were decorated very nice and if you have anyone that is handicapped this is the perfect house and if not its still the perfect house. The whole family loved it!!!

Outside was in horrible condition we cleaned windows,decks and the Outside of the house. Windows on the outside still had pollen all over them. We enjoyed our stay but the owners need to wave there fee(we worked on the house over 3 hours) location is excellent on the lakeMJ
