Amazing fully equipped luxury cabin. Within minutes of shopping and downtown yet wildlife and seclusion.

We had a great time with family. Great location. 10 minutes from Asheville and less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge parkway.

Would have been near perfect if there had been a fenced area to let our dogs out into. Kind of an inconvenience leashing them up every time they went out. Maybe at the base of the stairs to master bedroom. We were told not to let them out to run because of bear danger.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is situated in the woods, just off a mountain road in a gorgeous area just outside central Asheville. It's comfortable, well appointed and was spotless. We loved the stone fireplace, and relaxed in front of it on one of the cooler nights. The huge windows look out on the surrounding woods on all sides. The beds are comfortable, and we enjoyed waking up to views. The master bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and dual sinks. There are plenty of quality bed linens and towels as well. The kitchen is well appointed and was exceptionally clean. After a day of hiking, we enjoyed siitting on the covered deck, sipping tea and listening to the wildlife. Supermarkets and restaurants (including a couple of outstanding barbeque places) are only 8-10 minutes away, and dozens of amazing restaurants, cafe's and nightspots are only a few minutes farther along Merimon Avenue into downtown Asheville.
Turning left out of the driveway, you'll find Web Cove Road takes you up the mountain for about seven minutes, directly to Craven Gap Trail, as well as easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and it's amazing vistas and hiking trails.
We had a most relaxing week soaking up the peace and quiet and fall colors. Maggie Smith was a wonderful host, and provided plenty of information on the house and things to do in the local area. We had a great time, and highly recommend her property or anyone who is looking for a quiet cottage in the mountains.

We really enjoyed this home. It is large and well equiped. The kitchen has a nice selection of things needed. And of course we did see a Mama Bear with three Cubs! Highly encourage staying at Luxury In The Woods. We will be back!

Our stay at Luxury in the Woods was even better than our expectations. The house was beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. I would go back there in a minute. We were surrounded by woods but there were two houses nearby. t felt very safe. We also found a place to buy gourmet prepared food to take out, Newstock Pantry on Lyman St. You shouod definitly check it out. All in all, we were very happy we chose this home. Can't wait to go back.

Very responsive host with a beautiful, very clean home to enjoy with my 3 adult children who live in 3 different states. Very easy to drive into Asheville (about 10-15 minutes) for brunch/dinner/shopping. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

My hubby and I spent our 25th anniversary at this beautiful home in the mountains of North Asheville! The home itself is secluded and lovely, the porch with rocking chairs were a restful respite. We really enjoyed the incredibly comfortable beds and I wanted to take one home with me! Everything was really clean and I appreciating the prompt and friendly communication with our host Maggie. The house is located on a gravel road and there are a number of black bears in the area. On our last day we ended up with a bear IN OUR CAR! Be careful to keep all food and coolers out of your locked car. The road the house is on goes all the way up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was really nice. The location is great --- very convenient for fun in Asheville. Be sure to visit nearby Asheville Pizza --- great pizza and a movie theater! All in all, a great place to stay!

Maggie's house is very clean and beautiful! The location is amazing, we saw bears on four of the days that we were there. There are quite a few houses on the road but it was very quiet and felt isolated. It is amazingly close to grocery stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay at Maggie's house again if we were to find ourselves in the Asheville area.

Maggie provides a beautiful home in a idyllic location. The place was clean and well stocked. My partner and I really loved the place. Maggie was very responsive to all our questions. I was very sorry we couldn't stay longer. This was one of the best homes we stayed in. We even enjoyed the visits from the bears. Thank you, Maggie.

We arrived for our weekend getaway and could not be happier. The location was centrally located and within minutes to DT Asheville, Blue Ridge Mountain and The Biltmore. The house is situated on a private lot, the house was incredibly clean, comfortable and offered many amenities. The host was readily accessible and the entire process was effortless. No matter what the season this house is a perfect choice. This was our first time and we will definitely be back.

This is our second time at the house. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants, and very quiet. Bonus is that we had our two senior dogs with us and they loved the enclosed deck. Perfect size for us and the wifi connection was strong for anyone working remotely. We will be back!

We were immediately comfortable upon arriving at the place and enjoyed every minute of our stay! We were in the middle of the NC Blue Ridge Mts. yet we were minutes from the city and all the city had to offer. We brought out little dog Rosie and she loved it too. We had opportunity to visit with Maggie, the host, and she shared history of the surrounding land and some of the Asheville history. We will be back again next year!

Beautiful cozy home in the woods, but very near Asheville! We spent most of the weekend just sitting, watching the fire, as a soft rain fell outside. We couldn't have been any cozier. The kitchen is modern, the beds soft, the shower spacious and hot, the views out the windows very pleasant. We'd love to come back again.

Wow, what an amazing property. The hosts have gone the extra mile to make this a special property. Everything had been thought of. Very private location. The porch was clean and ready for use. Windows must have just been washed they sparkled—allowing the outdoors views, inside. Large master with a large bay window. Very comfortable furniture that was dog friendly. Having a new Keurig was a plus

The house was one of the best properties I have ever rented from. Not only was it so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway (less than a mile off of the same road), but it was also in close proximity to Asheville (Ingles grocery was about a 5 -10 minute drive). Her house was the cleanest I have ever seen. The king bed was by far the most comfortable. Overall I had a great time and can't wait to come back in the Spring or Fall.

We enjoyed our stay at this modern house which has a great layout for two couples. The sauna was appreciated, the mattress in the master bedroom was more comfortable than what we had at home, and we liked how dog friendly it was. The wildlife we saw included deer, squirrels, and birds. We will probably try to stay here again in the future.

One of the cleanest properties we have ever booked! The only reason we gave an overall score of four was due to check in process. No biggie, it all worked out beautifully. The house had everything you might need. The hand made game table was nothing short of Amazing!! Comfortable living area for relaxing with Netflix. We spotted a beautiful buck courting a doe for about two days. There is nothing to regret if you reserve this property! Also, great little work out room with working sauna.

It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly it is about this rental that made it my favorite vacation rental ever! From the location and well-kept and well-situated home, to the furnishings to the incredibly well-stocked kitchen (perfect for making a small Thanksgiving dinner). The beds were comfy, all the technology and appliances worked like they should, and the art was tasteful. Maybe the best part was the location— we were so close to busy parts of Asheville, even though we were tucked in a quiet neighborhood. We loved our time there, especially sitting by the fireplace and watching the birds.

We had a very nice stay. Very private property not far from town or parkway. Mama bear and 3 cubs visited the property twice during our stay. The fall colors were not disappointing. We highly recommend Vinny’s Italian restaurant!

Location was peaceful and quiet. Too cold for much time on the porch , but the outdoor furniture was comfortable. Living room furniture and beds were very comfortable as well. As two 60 somethings , this was important. We saw a Mama bear and 3 cubs in the yard one afternoon. House notes had advised about bears. Good outdoor lighting and flashlight provided for dog potty breaks in the dark. Very clean and general supplies well stocked. Highly recommend this property !

The Property is in a rural setting very close to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house had everything we needed and then some. The architecture of the house is fabulous. We will be back....

Lovely property with rustic home-like touches. Nicely furnished with many “pantry” extras. Nothing missing to make for a comfortable stay. A video upgrade and simple to use technology would be a nice addition.
Take care to carefully manage your trash/garbage. We had a wonderful morning watching momma bear and three cubs try to open the bear proof cans.
