Location,hotel design and friendly staff It was fantastic we loved the hotel and exploring the area. My only suggestion would be to incorporate more Omani/ Arabic specialties to the breakfast and dinner buffet. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Oman

I have visited Jabal Akdhar many times. It was our first time staying overnight. We choose Sahab Resort and Spa. I can say that this was a great decision. As we entered the resort we were excited to see the attention to detail, we were surrounded by great original art. They received us with warmth and professionalism. As we stepped into the courtyard/ outdoor space, the rooms were very well spaced out. The deluxe room was well appointed with all the amenities that we have come to expect. As we had dietary restrictions, they were very willing to accommodate our requirements. We had great meals and very personal service. I would like to mention about resort Manager who was personally attending to all the guests with a great eye for attention to detail. Very trip the culinary experience is the make and break of any holiday, for us this resort made it a delight, something we are still talking about. It is necessary for me to mention that Mr Arup made this all possible. Thank you team Sahab Resort and Spa, you will see us again.

All the staff at this resort were very friendly and willing to help, from the reception to the maintenance staff. The location is excellent and the pool area offers a nice view. The room was very cold, fortunately, the AC could be set to warm it up, as well as a heater. During our stay, we stayed in a suite. The sofa in the living room opens into a bed that was big enough for my two children to sleep on. There is free wireless internet access throughout the resort.

A wonderful resort with a breathtaking view is hard to beat. Honestly, it's very beautiful! Particularly noteworthy was manager-who-does-everything. We were really taken care of by him and he made sure we had everything we needed. So friendly and nice. One of the best resort staff members I've ever encountered!

I stayed in one of the spacious suites. It was well-equipped and had a very large comfortable room. The bedding was amazing. The staff was very sweet and fulfilled all our demands. I enjoyed my stay at Jebal Akhdar.

Spa not operational. Pools not heated. Room service is very slow. The kitchen is closed from breakfast until dinner. AC in the room was very noisy and kept making weird sounds all night.

What a beautiful small hotel in Jebal Akhdar. We were glad we chose this over the branded international hotels which seemed overpriced. We had one meal at the restaurant and one at D2. Must say the Sahab meal options were limited but better in taste and service. The location of this hotel is just outstanding. You can gaze into the valley for hours with a drink in your hand. The other must mention is the small but efficient staff. The outdoor furniture is not great. Indoor room furniture on the other hand is perfect. Loved the sense of being in a small, cosy hotel.

Food options:They only have half board,so lunch you need to order from local small time joints which is a shame.No buffet option for breakfast/lunch and you will have to choose from same menu over and over again.Menu also very limited although they charge around Ro.10 /per pax extra for dinner.

The hotel is perfectly located with a stunning view and a nice terrace. The staff was friendly but they seemed to be short-staffed. The Spa was closed and the bar was also closed, as if the hotel was not in full operation. The restaurant had some nice Indian food but the menu was limited.

Beautiful location and well equipped rooms. Serene and calm environment. The staff is amazing. Mr. Viney and the bell boy were Bert helpful and courteous. We are very happy with the service and enjoyed our stay at this scenic hotel.

The view from this hotel is excellent and it has so much potential.

Unfortunately, the restaurant and spa were closed. The outside area was lovely but very dusty and the pool water was very cloudy. The rooms were not like the pictures advertised and were quite dated. There appeared to be very few staff and despite being very pleasant, gave conflicting information on what was available on site and what wasn’t. For example, we were initially told breakfast could be given and then it wasn’t. Then on our second day we had breakfast. I was underwhelmed and disappointed as this property has such potential due to its location.

The AC made a lot of noise, the restaurant was closed with no option of breakfast.

I liked the Facility location and the room hospitality.

The restaurant in the hotel was not operational. Which was disappointing as I was looking for a good dinner and breakfast even though if I had to pay. There are not enough good restaurants nearby.

There were no ancillary services at the location, restaurant, room service, or spa. Equipment at the location was well worn and not maintained properly, flickering lights, chipped furniture, wicker chairs and tables falling into noticeable disrepair.

the design of the buildings, grounds were great. the staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. I can't praise them enough. the view was excellent considering the price paid. the room was pretty nice especially the bathroom. the room was clean. the breakfast superb.

the place needs some investment in maintenance and facilities. large areas that could do with plants or seating were a bit abandoned. the rooms need a make over and deep clean. the general area is in need of repairs.

We had a pleasant experience at SAHAB, during our stay. Excellent reception, friendly staff, and managers. Lovely environment and fantastic food. It had been indeed an unforgettable stay, all folks were enraptured. Personal attention to our all needs at every level made us happy.
