We had a great time! The river was so close and the tube rental place is literally 100 yards away so that was a big plus for us not having to ever drive anywhere!

We had a party of 8 guests and it accommodated us perfectly! The condo was clean and very nice. The property is right next to the river and is a great place to hang out. It is also very close to places to eat a different places to drop in for tubing! We will be rebooking for next year! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Great location! On the quieter end of the river. Great view of cliffs. Walked to Cap’s tube/shuttle company. Only thing we didn’t realize til we got there that parking was allowed on the gravel bar beach area.

This property was perfect for the adults and children. The rock beach area allowed the kids to play while some adults floated the river. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

House was amazing. Just wish the weather could have been hotter. Own was amazing words can't describe the relaxation and the view's was awesome. Only down fall was another family was having to much fun loud music till 4 am but other than that I had one of my best birthday with my wife and kids. Will probably go back soon.

This area of the Guadalupe River off of River Road in New Braunfels is a gorgeous area! Cabin #1 at Cliff View Condominiums is riverfront with a perfect view of the cliff and river below. The upper porch is large, covered, and has great seating options. We loved the addition of the porch swing and lights on the lower deck - these features were unique to cabin #1 and we felt so spoiled! We also loved the grassy yard, which is elevated from the river area - the kids could run & play and throw the football. Wildlife was abundant! We loved seeing so many vultures, hawks, songbirds, tons of red cardinals, and fish. The owner provides floats for the rivers (THANK YOU!), which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The section of river in front of the condos is perfect - it has shallow areas with beautiful rocks where the river runs and rushes, moving very freely - great for wading - as well as calmer, deeper areas where you can have a more serious swim. Fishing is excellent here too - they stock the river with trout year round! As for the condo, the rooms are comfortable and we loved that one room has 2 bunk beds - perfect for families with kids. The sectional in the living area is VERY comfortable - reclining seats with plenty of room for 8 people to sit and watch T.V. The bathrooms and kitchen are very nice - updated fixtures & counters, with good pots & pans and all the things you need. We had an issue with the freezer opening (it was frozen shut) when we first arrived and the owner called us back within 15 minutes, so he's very responsive. There were no rentals before our check-in, so he graciously approved our request to arrive earlier on our check-in day, which we very much appreciated. Can't say enough about this amazing gem of a place! We would love to return!

The house is located right on Guadalupe River with easy access to get there! It had a lot of things to be used in the house ! The owner was definitely helpful! Will surely come back again!

Perfect location and lovely finish of the house. We didn’t leave all weekend as there was everything we needed. So many thoughtful touches and supplied with everything you would need or may forget to pack.

This place is very well stocked. We did not need a single thing during our week long stay. This owner has really thought of everything. The property is clean, safe and perfectly located on the river. We floated 2 days with tubes provided to us by the owner. So thoughtful.

The property was well maintained and comfortable. Clay was quick to respond to messages.

Great stay! Plenty of room. Three TV’s so all four kids were able to veg at night without fighting over what to watch.

Two families of eight total enjoyed the location of the property . River Water was low so able to use the river front area a lot . Beds were comfy , bathrooms adequate . One bathroom is downstairs located with outdoor access only . We enjoyed our stay - despite covid 19 restrictions with river travel :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clay's property! It is very clean, updated with everything you need and can walk directly to the river! All of the appliances you can think of were available, linens were supplied and everything was effortless for us. The hosts were so friendly, even stopping by to offer us tubes since the tubing outfitters were closed during COVID. I enjoyed coffee every morning of the porch swing downstairs with an amazing view of the cliffs and all the little hummingbirds right in front of me. We will definitely be back again.

It's located in a condo development on the Guadalupe River, it's a short walk down to the river, you aren't secluded by any means, but it's exactly as described in the listing with a nice deck to spend the evening on. The only downside is that they expect you to do A LOT of cleaning before checkout. Including laundry, dishes and hauling trash to a dumpster a couple hundred yards away from the condo. I understand not leaving these short term rentals a total mess, but they charge $140 in cleaning and "owner" fees on top of the rental price. It seems like you shouldn't have to clean the place AND be charged for it.

Can’t beat the river access including driving down to it. Beautiful scenery with the cliffs off the back porch

We’ve stayed at this location for several years and everything about it is perfect. Location is great, scenery is beautiful and the house is always immaculate.

The property was clean and well stocked, including enough toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap to last our entire stay. The spacious living area had comfortable seating with enough drawer space and hanging closets for our crew of 5. Clay was easy to work with and prompt to reply to any inquiries. And the best part was the amazing view of the bluff on the other side of the river. The riverfront stretch was the loveliest I'd seen on River Road with a spacious shoreline and plenty of grassy knolls to visit with friends or serene enough to read while children wade in the gentle flow of the Guadelupe River. Overall a great location and excellent accommodations. I'd definitely return to this property.

Gathered with extended family to celebrate birthdays and we could not of had a better time. Property is perfectly distanced from the river with its own peaceful rock island. Kitchen had everything we needed for our extended stay. Even binoculars for the bird watching. We are already making plans to return to this property.

This property is amazing. We stay on the river at a different property every year and this one is in our top two. Plenty of utensils, plates, silver and cups. Comfy beds. Nice showers. Great BBQ pit and best of all, the river access is legit. if you wanna sit in the shallow water, hit up the left of the "beach". Want deeper? Hit up the right. Great people watching on Labor day but not too busy to get on my nerves. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great time at the river. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay.
