Charming Craftsman Bungalow in E. Nash 2bed\/2bath (170 5* reviews all sites)
About this house rental
We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. It is a 1929 Craftsman Bungalow with hardwood floors throughout the downstairs and cool architectural details like archways in the dining room and built-ins in many rooms for plenty of storage. The downstairs is 1400 square feet and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition to the two bedrooms, the downstairs has a comfortable living room, dining room, kitchen, and family/tv room. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including a gas stove and dishwasher. There is roku tv for all your paid subscriptions (as well as Sling TV and antenna for local channels), wifi, and washer and dryer for your use. The house has central heat and air. There is also a couch that converts to a double bed in the family room that can provide additional sleeping space. The living room has games and books for your enjoyment. There are also tennis rackets and balls and a tennis court just three blocks from the house at the entrance to Shelby Park. I travel frequently so may or may not be staying in the in-law suite upstairs. The upstairs is accessed from an outside staircase only. There is no inside access to the upstairs so the downstairs is completely private and I am respectful of noise during your stay if I am there. These are some reviews from our house on another site: "A cute bungalow on an idyllic street. Host was amazing. Two thumbs up." Heather, Nov 2018 "Great location. Very close to downtown. Food, coffee, groceries relatively close by. Shelby Park is close and great place for morning walks. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Everything at the house that you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely go back." Kaycee, Oct 2018 "Great location, basically 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do. Fully stocked kitchen, we were able to cook breakfast and dinner and had everything available. Lots of room for 4 people." Sarah, Oct 2018 "We really enjoyed our stay at Christy’s. The house was clean and filled with all sorts of ‘extras’. We walked downtown each day - about a 45 minute walk - then took an Uber home at night. Was easy to get around. We would highly recommend staying at Christy’s house." Linda, Oct 2018 These are reviews from another site about our duplex that is right next door to this property. For the duplex, I only copied and pasted what was said about the neighborhood and/or our hosting style, as this would be the same for our house. Please let me know if you might be interested in renting the duplex as well. "Perfect, comfortable apartment in a trendy, fun neighborhood. Excellent host. Will definitely stay again!" Dawn, Nov 2018 "We had such a great stay at Christy’s apartment. East Nashville is a very cool area and Christy’s notes on where to eat and grab coffee etc helped so much. The apartment is clean, spacious and has an excellent keyless entry and exit system. Christy was very communicative, leaving clear instructions and even checking in with us halfway through to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this place to others passing through Nashville. Thank you Christy!" James, Oct 2018 "Cute clean place very close to nightlife and restaurants but far enough to stray from the noise. Christy is a great host!" Megan, Oct 2018 "It's located in safe and unique East Nashville and is close to the stadium and downtown activities. The owner is prompt and professional and goes above expectations to make your stay wonderful." Susie C Jan 2017 " location so convenient! Her home was so close to everywhere we wanted to explore in Nashville. We rented a car, and most places only took 10 minutes to drive to. The park at the end of the street also made for great walks. Although we did not meet Christy in person, she was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a wonderful first time visit to Nashville!" E.S. Nov 2016 "It was a short and inexpensive uber/lyft ride in and out of music row/downtown. We loved coming "home" to a quiet neighborhood after a busy day in downtown. We only explored this neighborhood a little, wished we had more time. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and the local creamery, all less than a mile away." Karen S Oct 2016 " location. 2 miles straight shot into downtown or $6 Uber rides. Never waited more than 3 minutes for a car. Owner is friendly and available to answer any questions. Highly recommend wandering around east nashville and the 5 points area. 2 for 1 beers at all the bars on sundays." Peter E. Sept 2016 "She was so accommodating and helpful. One of the things we were most impressed with was the neighborhood. Absolutely loved it!! We will definitely make this our first choice the next time we visit Nashville." B&B Sept 2016 "Perfect location! Short uber ride to downtown Nashville and walking distance to five points for our east Nashville food tour. Christy was available to answer any questions and was easy to communicate with." "Loved this location in a east Nashville! Neighborhood was super cute with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. In one direction, you were only a short drive (or 30 min walk) into downtown, and in another there was a beautiful park. Christy was an amazing host!" Kharli T April 2016 " a nice neighborhood with wide streets & sidewalks, but close to everything that Nashville has to offer. There were several restaurants & coffeeshops (try the Post!) within an easy walk & a great park is just a few blocks away. The road goes straight into downtown, so you can go exploring without getting on the highway. Best tip was to park (for free) on the east side of the pedestrian bridge and walk over it into downtown. You could walk the whole way (less than 2 miles), but I was to lazy for that. Christy was a great hostess,..." Tammy W March 2016 Please note the fire place is for decoration only. The home is older but comfortable and in a good location 5 minute UBER to Broadway. Christy, the owner, was great to work with and communication responses were quick. For two couples it was a good fit and more cost effective than a downtown hotel.

Four seniors who enjoy country/gospel and wanted to see what all the Nashville fuss is about. This was a great location for us - away from the noise of downtown but close enough by Uber/Lyft to conveniently and cheaply go back and forth to Printers Alley, the Ryman, Station Inn, the Opry and the airport. The local coffee shop (frothy Monkey) is great, dinner at the Wild Cow a treat and the nature trail at the park delightful. Will do more venue searching when we come back but a successful scouting trip for sure. Would stay at this comfortable house again.

Everything about this stay was great!! Christy was a great host. The location was wonderful and plenty of room for my group! Hopefully will stay again!

It’s an older home but a nice place to stay. Plenty of room for 4 adults. House had everything needed from appliances to personal household products to use. Beds super comfy. Nice neighborhood.

House was quaint. Easy access to downtown. Owners were extremely friendly & followed up several times to ensure our needs were met.

This property is so close to everything. Just minutes from downtown and the opry was also an easy drive and close by. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. The neighborhood was quite. Would rent this property again.

Lovely home in a the Shelby Hills neighborhood. Lovely stroll to Frothy Monkey for coffee and the main street strip. House was exactly as advertised and the host is lovely and easy to communicate with! It was a perfect rental for 5 women (2 per bedroom and 1 on the pullout). Would definitely stay again!

We loved the house and it was super neat and in a really nice neighborhood. The street that the house is on is a straight shot into the city. We will stay there again.

We were in Nashville for a weekend with friends. This place worked out great. It had all we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. Our host was more than accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute House
House was comfortable, only real issue we had was that the smoke alarms would go off randomly, and the upstairs apartments alarm would go off every time the gal up there was blow drying her hair. Otherwise it was a nice little house to stay in!

The rental was exactly as advertised! Great space for our group with the upper apartment giving the younger members a little privacy. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms! Very safe neighborhood and an easy Uber ride to the downtown area ($9 -10). Would definitely recommend!! Christy was awesome!

Nashville Surprise
We had a wonderful time and everything was awesome. The beds were wonderful and I really loved the pillows. Very clean and great location to Uber downtown. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a charming old home well maintained. Location was great. It was only minutes from downtown by Uber. A Coffee shop, an Italian restaurant and even a Candy Shoppe was in close proximity. Christy has the home fully stocked! She also answered any of my questions within minutes. We were there for the Music City 17U Baseball Tournament and were pleasantly surprised at how close the games were...no more than 20 minutes away. A couple things to mention, a grill would have been nice to cook on outside. I would have liked brighter lights in the bathroom and bedrooms. The house did have a musty smell. I know with all the rain and humidity and age of the house it's probably impossible to eliminate. All minor things that didn't factor into our visit. We would definitely stay there again.

Three of us just stayed here on a recent ladies trip to Nashville. The location was good. Probably about 3 miles from downtown attractions and in a neighborhood that we felt safe. Cute little vintage property that gave us each our own bedroom and bathroom although only one is en suite. That bedroom and bath is located in a converted attic space and while charming it is accessed by outdoor staircase only. Our host Christy was responsive and welcoming. The property is very well equipped with all kinds of nice little extras and amenities. All in all I would not hesitate to return and book again.

We loved our two day weekend stay here. It's in a great location! I would recommend it to anyone!

This cute craftsman bungalow was perfect for our trip consisting of 6 adults! We used all 3 bedrooms and loved the set up. Great house, fully stocked, great area, ample parking and perfect neighborhood! Christy was fast to respond to any questions I had pre-trip and gave us great recommendations on things to do as well as places to eat. She was in contact with me the day we arrived to make sure we were all set. This house is great for anyone looking to be close to downtown (literally minutes away by car and walkable if you really want) in a quiet but great neighborhood! Restaurants, coffee shops, parks, and bars all within close proximity as was the Stadium. Will stay here again for sure during our next trip to Nashville!

This location is very good. A short drive to the pedestrian bridge and then walked over to Broadway.
Christy is very responsive, even checking on with us multiple times to make sure all was good. Even giving recommendations of places to go in East Nashville. I would have liked a TV in the upper unit and we would have liked to open the windows to get fresh air in the unit but really those are minor issues. I would stay here again. And will recommend it to others.

Comfortable and convenient
Great place to stay in Nashville. The house was clean and well equipped. Christy communicated very well and made check-in and check-out easy. The house is easy to find and was convenient for Uber drivers to locate for our transportation. Close to Five Points. Thumbs up from all of us that stayed. We would definitely stay again.

Very cute house. Christy even has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both bathrooms, in case you should forget. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent sheets and fluffy towels. I, for one, appreciated how high the shower head is set in the bathroom. I can't count how often I've stayed somewhere and had to crouch to wash my hair. (I'm a tall lady!)
The house is not very far from Music Row. Lyft ride was $8. 5 Points area is not far, either. Great pizza place down there. If we come back to Nashville, I'll stay here again.
Thanks Christy, for a most comfortable, enjoyable stay!

Christy is a wonderful hostess. She was very responsive and helpful and it made the 7 week rental so much more pleasant. There is plenty of closet and drawer space. The bathroom is roomy and clean and functional. The kitchen was workable, and there was a gas stove/oven which is great. The pull out sofa in the family room is VERY comfortable. East Nashville is a great location, near some hip, funky cafes and restaurants and shops. It's a less-than-10 minute Uber ride to downtown, and just a few minutes more to The Gulch. There has been a lot of rain in Nashville recently, and she may need to keep her eye on problems with moisture moving forward. I would certainly call Christy if I need to return to Nashville again.

Great location, great find, great house!
Christy's house is just great all around. It is so conveniently located to get downtown or to East Nashville (where there are restaurants, bars, ice cream, art, etc.) and we loved sitting on the front porch in the morning watching all the people go by. It is also a short walk to the park where there is a greenway, nature center and pond.
There was plenty of room for 3 adults and a toddler to live comfortably for a long weekend. Having a fully stocked kitchen is a great bonus. The beds and seating areas were all comfortable and we felt right at home.
I have stayed in Christy's other properties and this one is as well loved and cared for as the others. She is an awesome host with a great attention to detail and care for her visitors. I look forward to staying here again!!

Perfect location to fall in love with Nashville. Comfortable, clean and fun.
Christy's place was great for us - a quick ride to Vanderbilt University and walking distance to 5 Points for tons of great restaurants and unique shops. Christy's place has the most comfortable beds we ever slept on. We also liked the dependable internet, nice appliances and well stocked kitchen. The family room was the perfect place to kick back and relax. I was also able to get away from the kids and read in the living room. Christy's house is awesome, and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic location! Clean, comfortable and fun. THE place to fall in love with Nashville.
My daughter and I came to Nashville to see Vanderbilt University. Christy's place was in the perfect location...a quick ride to Vanderbilt, walking distance to 5 Points, with tons of restaurants and unique shops, and Shelby Bottoms for a beautiful walk. The house is awesome, with the most comfortable beds we ever slept on, dependable internet, very nice appliances and a well stocked kitchen. Christy also left a giant album filled with information about Nashville, local restaurants, transportation, family adventures, music and night life. Although my daughter didn't choose Vanderbilt, we will definitely be back for everything Nashville has to offer.
