This rental is a 3 story house in a charming complex. The decks look out over a farm pasture and across to the mountains. The interior is immaculate country charm. Very spacious and has every thing you need. Towels, linens, soap, shampoo and conditioner, paper towels, I even found a bag of elastic bands, coffee grinder, even a night light in the kids room! Each bed has a pillow topper and the sheets are so soft I want them. The pillows were not too puffy or too skinny (this is a big one for me!). The fireplaces was prepped and ready to go. Its a casual stroll to the center of Manchester or a 2 minute drive. We just arrived home last night and my toddler is already saying he wants to go back to the Vermont home. This rental was far beyond our expectations and one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. My suggestion to the owners: - a light blocking shade in the kids room. The lower window we had to cover with a towel. - upstairs king bed is hard, could use a new one or some more substantial pillow topper. Thank you for the wonderful vacation! J

We stayed for a month in Bob and Carol's home and enjoyed every minute of it. Bob was there to greet us and show us around and we instantly felt at home. On the first floor my teenage daughter had her own living room, bedroom and bathroom which she loved. On the second floor is the lounge, kitchen and dining area which are beautifully presented and overlook a field to the rear of the house, which gives you a very peaceful and private outlook. Our master bedroom was on the third floor together with a twin room and a bathroom, our bed was ultra comfy. The house is immaculate, the kitchen well stocked and the bed linens are beautiful. We bought some bird food from the local store and were amazed at the variety of birds we saw on the balcony. There were Red Cardinals, Jays, Woodpeckers just to name a few and we spent many hours watching the cheeky squirrels playing in the snow. Town is only a few minutes walk so even on the coldest days we managed to get out and about. we had lunch at Cilantro, Mulligans, The Works, Spiral Press and Al Ducci's and dinner at Gringo Jacks, The Reluctant Panther and The Silver Fork all were very good. We particularly enjoyed buying fresh fish from Earth and Sea, picking up a good bottle of wine from Manchester Beverages and going back to the house and cooking some great meals. Manchester is pretty central for travelling, we did day trips to Killington, Woodstock, Ludlow, Chester and Bennington and a couple of over night stays in Quebec City and Stowe, we really loved the whole area. We did many Trail Walks, our favourite was Lye Brook Falls and Prospect Rock, amazing views up there. Our daughter enjoyed shopping at the outlets, so much so, we had to buy another suitcase to get it all back home. We will always have great memories of our Christmas time in this lovely home. Thank you for having us Bob and Carol and we hope to see you again sometime soon.

Bob and Carol were wonderful hosts greeting us when we arrived and giving us a tour of the condo. Everything was beautifully maintained and a fire ready to go in the fireplace. Many listings that describe themselves as a ten minute walk anywhere really mean a 20 minute walk or a ten minute jog but this home really is walkable to town and just down the road from some cute restaurants and shops. The home is flooded with light, the only downside of this being that the bedrooms are completely light as soon as the sun rises as the blinds are purely for privacy and not light blocking, but with the beautiful views outside who wants to sleep in? The home is particularly wonderful with children. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again!

This was a perfect ski getaway location. The owners, Bob and Carol, met our family (2 adults and 2 children) when we arrived and couldn't have been more helpful in getting us acquainted with their lovely home. This home is very well maintained--spotless-- and well equipped especially the kitchen. All the linens are new and the bedding is of high quality. The location of their home is perfect--walking distance to Manchester's outlets and a short drive to Bromley. Just a few recommendations: A small dresser in the guest room is needed. A blow dryer for your guests in the main bathroom upstairs. Additional firewood for the fire. Other than that it was a very well maintained beautiful house to stay in. I almost don't want to go on and on because I would like to keep it our little "hidden gem" in Vermont! We are looking forward to staying there again!

This was just a lovely home - everything was top notch! My husband & I were met at the house by the owners who gave us a tour and gave us information about the workings of the home. Three other friends met us later that day, and they were equally impressed. The house was very nicely furnished/equipped throughout, comfortable and so clean! We only cooked breakfasts, but the kitchen had everything we needed (and more). Carol & Bob were delightful and very easy to work with. Our group will be retuning in February and can't wait!!! Thanks so much!

Perfect location for skiing at Bromley and strolling through Manchester. The house was very clean and comfortable. My family especially enjoyed the living room with its fireplace and beautiful views of the mountains. The layout and size was perfect for our family which included my husband, two children & mother-in-law. It was great to have the family room and third bedroom on the lower level. The owners were very easy to work with. We definitely hope to return again!
