About this house rental
Nestled in Corolla, this charming house for $783 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Sometimes dreams do come true, and we would love to share our dream with you for your own family retreat at Bluewater Dream. This beautiful home is filled with everything you could possibly want for a wonderful beach vacation. There is a private pool and 6 person hot tub, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, jetted tub in the top floor master bath, a game room with wet bar and a screened porch with wonderful lighthouse views. Recent upgrades are Trex deck furniture, a Mesh WiFi system and Roku added to all TVs. New in 2024: Quiet LG Dishwasher and clothes dryer. Deck surfaces were also renewed. We chose this house for its perfect location in the charming Northern Outer Banks, with its upscale atmosphere, beautiful private beaches, convenient shopping, lots of family activities and restaurants. This home site is nestled on a quiet cul de sac on the Sound side of the exclusive Ocean Hill Community, with a beautiful ocean front community pool facility. Across the street from Bluewater Dream is the (optional) fitness center, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a playground, basketball courts, Crystal Lake and the sound side community pool. The ocean is an 8-10 minute walk, or you can pack the kids and beach chairs in the car and drive 1 minute to the ocean front facility parking lot where you can enjoy the private beach and community pool, and take advantage of the snack bar or of course, soak up the sun on the beach. Access to the 4 x 4 beaches is only a half mile north! So, you can pack your own (or a rental) 4-wheel drive vehicle with lunch and spend the day on the beautiful beaches that stretch for miles. In season, you will need a Currituck County permit to park on the 4 x 4 beaches. Be sure to watch for the wild horses of Corolla! The villages at Ocean Hill is at the end of highway 12, so the pace is slower. This location is a real gem! 1st Floor: A King bedroom is located here with an en suite bathroom, which is great for anyone wanting to LIMIT THE USE OF STAIRS. There is a separate game room with Sofa and easy chairs, wet bar, microwave and mini fridge with foosball table, LED TV and PLAY STATION 3! Access to the pool area and hot tub and of course, the outdoor shower, is here. There is also a gas grill for your convenience. 2nd Floor: There are 4 large Queen bedrooms on this level. One has 2 queen beds. Each pair of bedrooms shares a full bathroom. The full-size washer and dryer are located on this level. And there is a full length second floor deck with Trex Deck Chairs, Rocking chairs, a Table and Chairs and a kids size picnic table. 3rd Floor: This floor features a King bedroom with a En Suite bathroom, that features a separate shower and jetted jacuzzi tub. Since this is a reverse floor plan, the top floor features the great room living area with Lazyboy recliner sofa, the dining area and a modern kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a large breakfast bar. There is also a screened porch with table and chairs, gorgeous lighthouse views, and a large deck overlooking the pool area that features Trex loungers and Adirondack Chairs. There is also a half bath on the landing to serve this area. Loft: The loft, or ships watch, is a great little get away with a comfortable day bed and trundle. Maximum Capacity is 16 ( Max14 Adults): 2 King Masters 5 Queens 2 Twins (Trundle/day bed in loft) Please note that all stays require a cleaning fee of $199, which is an additional cost. We do allow pets, up to 2 dogs. The pet fee is $250 for 1 or 2 pets. Pets must be well trained, at least 1 year old and maximum 60 lbs. Please describe the pets that you would like considered. Our private pool is open approximately May 15 through October 15. Guests should plan to provide beach towels, paper products, cleaning/personal items and kitchen trash bags. Note: Property is protected by one security camera facing the driveway and road, above the Carport.

We enjoyed the house so much. It was well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood!
The beds were very comfortable and the house was decorated perfectly, it even had pool inflatables (which were already inflated).

Perfect location for a peaceful beach vacation. Nine adults, six kids and the family dog fit in here nicely. Very well stocked kitchen. We loved having our own pool and hot tub. Game nights in the living room. Beach and nature trails within walking distance.
Only two negatives. Some of the community activities cost extra and were not cheap. Spa bath in upstairs bedroom did not have hot water, so we could not use it.

Perfect size for our family and beach location was close enough to get to daily. Amenities were great ! Would have liked for exercise room to be included in price but it was nice to have that option for use. We Al had a great time at your home and could see us coming back some day earlier or later in the year.
Side note -May need a new vacuum since the one at the property barely picked anything up.

This was a very nice house for our large family vacation. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the garage contained every kind of beach toy that you could imagine.
A pool and fitness center are right around the corner, and another pool and private beach-access parking lot are a short drive away.
We particularly liked the layout of the upper floor, which contained the kitchen, family area, and one bedroom. There seemed to be room in the family area for all eleven of us without feeling crowded.
This is a very nice vacation home and we would stay here again.

What a beautiful home! We had an incredible stay here on our family trip. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the home is in good shape and well taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Bluewater Dream, or visit again ourselves.

This vacation home is appropriately named! We so enjoyed the home and Corolla. This was a 4 generation vacation- 11 of us and there was still extra space. We had tons of fun in the pool and on the beach, which was just a very short walk. The kids had fun watching the turtles ( approximately 18!) at the lake. We cooked all meals at the house. The kitchen had everything you would ever need! I suggest the wild horse tour. Kids under 5 not allowed so it was just nana and great- grandma who went but don’t miss this! Thank you Bill and Linda - your home was perfect for our vacation!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the bluewater dream. This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks. The setup of the house worked wonderful for our family.
Upon arrival, we noticed that one of the main floors was not mopped, and there was garbage left behind from previous guests. We contacted Bill and Linda, and they were quick to respond and were more than happy to have the cleaners come back and finish. We respectfully declined as we thought it would be odd to have strangers come in the house as we were inside with all of our belongings. We did find a couple of cockroaches in the house during our weeks stay - however this is part of nature, we were worried about potentially bringing them home as they can be an invasive pest.
We did have pool service arrive unannounced with no warning that there would be any kind of service while we were there, so we were a little skeptical; we did have children that were there. Once we addressed our concerns with Bill and Linda, they assured that there would not be any other services there during our time, putting us at a little more of an ease.
Bill and Linda were kind enough to allow us to bring our 4 fur babies (all hypoallergenic). This meant the world to us, as just weeks before our arrival, one of our pups was diagnosed with cancer. Bill and Linda had many notes around the house that were very helpful (especially about sand spurs). We did have a little bit of a problem letting our pups walk around in the yard, as the yard is not landscaped as we imagined. However, just a short walk down the road, there was a lawn within the neighborhood in which we used daily.
The neighborhood was a very quiet and peaceful place to be. We enjoyed being able to go about our day and return back to the quiet and calm neighborhood. The walk to the beach is a little difficult to find and navigate and is a little farther then excepted.
We would like to thank Bill and Linda for allowing us to have a wonderful vacation with our family (and fur family). We were able to spend Easter together as a family during our stay, while still feeling at home. There were plenty of tools within the kitchen for us to prepare our annual Easter dinner with.
We are very grateful for our stay in Bill and Linda's property and will hopefully return one day!

I rented this house as a celebration gift for my parents anniversary. The house was big enough to host 12 comfortably. As soon as I walked in I noticed a dead cockroach on the kitchen floor. Seemed liked the previous guests had dogs so there was a lot of dog hair. Some bathroom mirrors were dirty. But over all we enjoyed our stay.

We were so thankful for this well provided vacation home. Traveling with children makes it a challenge to fit towels, bedding and those types of things into the car. So we appreciated those being included. This home was clean, thoughtfully maintained and their excess of toys, games, books and beach toys were truly above what we expected. Thank you!

This property is in a fantastic location. The community was clean, quiet, beautifully maintained, and close to the beach. The house was as advertised, clean and stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, beach/pool gear, games, etc. Bill was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend!

We looked for a home with enough space to gather as a group, including dining and bedroom areas and also a separate living space for some of us to enjoy at times. The pool was a great asset and the kids loved the foosball table downstairs. Very close to many activities and restaurants and also close to the community pools and the beach. Definitely fit the bill for us, our adult children and grandchildren!

Great vacation experience
My vacation to Corolla, NC was fantastic. We stayed a week at this property, there were 10 adults, 1 teenager and 5 children under 8 years old. Loved the layout of the house! Except for traffic slowdown getting through Duck there was plenty to do in Corolla. We liked having a pool on the property but we also used the community pool for 2 days because of pool maintenance on the property. The owners were fantastic to deal with and responded quickly each and every time. We were there over the 4th of July and we had a great view of the fireworks display from the historic park sitting on the back deck of the house. Would definitely stay at this property again.
