Waterfront! Beach Access! Near Town! Includes separate mother-in-law studio! Located close to the town of Friday Harbor and San Juan Golf and Country Club, this waterfront home offers spectacular Griffin Bay and Mt. Baker views. (Alba Vista) The front door to Alba Vista opens on the middle level of the home. The living room, full kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, and dining room are all found on the main level. From each of these spaces you will enjoy amazing views including North Bay, Dinner Island, and Lopez Island. The full kitchen is stocked with lots of appliances and plenty of supplies for preparing meals. The living room offers plenty of seating for the whole group, as well as a Smart TV, DVD player, DVDs, and a variety of puzzles, board games, and books. The dining room is found to the right of the living room, with seating for 8 around the table. Guests will find access to the deck with the propane BBQ from the dining room, with plenty of outdoor chairs to enjoy a perfect summer night overlooking the bay. The deck is perfectly situated between the main house and the detached guest house. On the top floor you'll find the spacious primary suite furnished with a king size bed. The primary bath offers a soaking tub also taking advantage of the wonderful water view. Also is equipped with dual sinks and a spacious tiled shower. The lower level of the home opens to a full bathroom, fully equipped laundry room, an additional bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a studio-style space equipped with a cozy couch, a propane fireplace, and a Queen size bed. From the downstairs studio space, you'll find exterior access to the pebble beach. Included in this rental is the charming, detached guest studio furnished with a queen-sized bed, coffee maker, microwave and Smart TV. Enjoy the water views from the sitting area with propane fireplace. The studio also includes a full bathroom. 10 minutes in any direction will take you to many of San Juan Island's beautiful beaches and parks including Jackson Beach, South Beach and American Camp, Mount Finlayson, or Pelindaba Lavender Farm. This house has good cell phone reception. A/C is provided in the main house. There is NOT A/C in the detached guest studio. Approximately a 10-minute drive to the Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal. Not pet-friendly The internet / Wi-Fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing. Internet Speed Test Results…Download Speed: 14.86 Mbps -- Upload Speed: 1.52 Mbps -- Ping: 98 Ms (Average of three tests that were conducted February 2024 using SpeedCheck Pro) San Juan Island is a remote location, and it is good to keep in mind that intermittent, short, Wi-Fi disruptions are very normal for this area. Great place to base your San Juan visit.

Perfect layout for our 3 couple/3 generation family visit, with the guest house just on the other side of the deck. The views are amazing! You might see 2 deer peek in your window or a sea bird float past on a log, drying its wings. Management company was quick and helpful. Property address was well-marked so we found it easily after dark. Nice to have the beach access, we brought an inflatable stand-up paddle-board and explored along the coast.

4 generations met here for a week of tide pooling, bar-b-queing and wonderful relaxing. Alba Vista was close to everything we needed, but far enough away to enjoy nature. The stars were amazing!!

Thank you so much for making your beautiful waterfront home available through VRBO. I can’t imagine a nicer place to stay on the island for a large group. Everything was immaculate and the view was incredible from every room. Awesome artwork! We enjoyed our visit to San Juan Island and much of it was being able to stay at the Alba Vista.

Perfect set up for our friends with kids. We love how close to town we are, but not right IN town. The only thing we aren’t a huge fan of is the downstairs smells like a cat box. If you live with cats, maybe it wouldn’t bother you. But overall we still love this house and hope to visit each year with our friends.

Comfortable home for a friends getaway. Enjoyed a lovely 3 day trip on San Juan Island. Friday harbor is a short drive away. Home was clean. Beds comfortable. Only concerns were the lack of a window covering in the water closet and musty odors in the guest house and basement.

Great stay with a nice sitting patio. It’s a steep stairway to a rocky beach, grandparents unable to go down, but beautiful view! I would stay again!

We did not want to leave this beautiful picturesque escape on San Juan Island. Plenty of room for my group of friends who came with me to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I wish I had another week here just to stay at the property. Great communication and very clear directions on how to access the property, great location to Friday Harbor, and stunning views of the Salish Sea. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. Perfect place for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation.

We did not want to leave this beautiful picturesque escape on San Juan Island. Plenty of room for my group of friends who came with me to celebrate my 40th Birthday. I wish I had another week here just to stay at the property. Great communication and very clear directions on how to access the property, great location to Friday Harbor, and stunning views of the Salish Sea. I would stay at this place again in a heartbeat. The second to last step to the beach was not attached and resulted in a hard fall for our first person going to the beach. Luckily it was a 20 something and not one of the 60 somethings. Management responded right away to our call about our tv and step issues, but the tv soution was that they needed to remove "cable available" from the property discription", He was going to come right back with his tools to fix the step, but the step was still free floating when we left four days later.

The view and proximity to Friday Harbor are excellent. While the unit was very clean, the property is not well maintained. Furnishings were mix-and-match, worn-out, and felt less than clean. Mattresses are worn-out. Two bathrooms and the downstairs bedroom have windows with no covering. While this is a remote area, it's uncomfortable feeling that others might see in. Landscaping is not maintained either. Removing a couple of key branches would significantly improve the views. We enjoyed our stay but did think much of the property.

We booked this property to attend a wedding at Saltwater Farm. The location was perfect, and the house was so comfortable with beautiful views from every room. We explored the rocky coast in our backyard at low tide and sat out on the patio enjoying the weather and the scenery.
