Nestled in Nags Head, this charming house for $1,293 per night is a great option for your next trip. NOTE: *We are Following All Cleaning Guidelines for Preventing the Spread of COVID-19* Windswept is a great choice for families and groups! Sleeps 25. It has 7 bedrooms and an extra Futon bed in the X-Box game room for 2 more guests. Windswept new picture's are coming soon! We have listened to everyone's complaints about this house and we have completely redone this house. We have replaced both floors flooring with top of the line plank flooring, opened up the entry way and living room/sun room, power reclining furniture in the living room, brand new dining table and buffet to match, we took down the square tiles in the ceiling and replaced them with a plank ceiling for the top floor, more furniture on the top deck, we have taken the hot tub and moved it under the deck, the top deck has 2 options...1) You can sit under the Sun screen and enjoy the nice breeze while having shade. 2) You can sit on the other side and sit in the sun., we have added a another full bath on the bottom floor, and the biggest number complaint was that there is no bottom floor entrance, there is now. We have added another hallway and bottom entrance on the back of the house. You will have direct access from the driveway, pool, and boardwalk. Every morning brings a Breath-Taking Outer Banks Sunrise! Enjoy It relaxing on the deck while you are having your morning coffee. We offer 2 Coffee makers; Keurig and Mr. Coffee. A fully stocked kitchen with Two (2) refrigerators, a Crockpot, Blender, an air fryer, Mixer, & Seafood Steamer pot, is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. The dining table is large and the eating bar is perfect for setting out your buffet. There are bar stools as well. There is also a portable table that fold out to give you even more dining area. Making your favorite beverages is easy too. There is a Wine cooler and a Blender. Don’t forget the Hot Tub that’s located on the deck. You can enjoy the scenery while you soak! The deck is huge and offers several areas with comfortable outdoor furniture. Your Private Swimming Pool is just down the steps. It is a 12 X 24 Salt Water pool, which is healthier for your skin than Chlorine. (Open from March 25 to October 31) The wooden Boardwalk will take you to the Ocean Front. New mattresses and furniture will make you sleep like a Baby. As an added bonus, there is also a Whirlpool tub in the downstairs hall bath. Don't worry if it rains. Now, you have Two (2) Game Rooms to choose from! One has an X-Box gaming system and a Smart TV. There is also a comfortable Futon which can be opened for an extra sleeping option. The other is incorporated into the Sunroom with a table for games or puzzles and a full size Vintage Foosball Table. The family room has leather reclining furniture And a large Smart TV. You can log into your personal accounts like Netflix and HBO to watch Movies and Shows or you can put in a DVD while you stretch out on the couch. If you want some privacy, there are TVs in the bedrooms as well. Don't forget your Furry Buddies. There is a large fenced area up front for pets. Windswept has plenty of room for parking up to 7 cars. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. During the summer season, this house has a Sunday check in day. Please enter your request dates accordingly.* 2. PET FEES are NOT INCLUDED in price. 3. College students and anyone 27 or younger considered on a "case by case' basis and will include additional student rate and security deposit. If you are under the age of 27, you must submit an inquiry first. You are not allowed to "Instant Book". *NO Students Allowed after May 15th. Here are some OPTIONAL Items to Make Your Trip Complete : 1. Hurricane Evacuation Fee (5% of your total) will refund any days missed because of evacuation. 2. Beach Chairs(sitting) $12 & Umbrellas $15 rental. One price for the whole week. 3. Pet fee is $100 per week per pet + tax. Or if less than a week, Pet fee is $15 per day per pet + tax.

Roomy, clean, and fully equipped house. Perfect for big families! Multiple rooms and large living area which gives families enough room to spread out and enjoy time at the beach without feeling like everyone is on top of each other. Many games to entertain, fully stocked kitchen, fun hottuband comfy beds. Close to grocery stores and other shopping, as well as great parks and local attractions. House was as described and property managers were responsive. We even left a few things there after we left and they were kind enough to let us know and mailed them back to us!

Great communication with the company , clean home and spacious . The plentiful deck furniture and spacious deck made the evenings a wonderful place to relax and the pool was amazing too . Kitchen overly stocked for large families including 2 large refrigerators. Layout of the home and just everything was top notch! 👍

Great place to stay ! The remodeling that has been done made the stay so much better! Easy access to the lower level was wonderful! The kitchen was well stocked ! I love the linens are from a service company. We went to the beach everyday and access was ok . A bit hard for our elderly but there are two public accesses very nearby. I would love to see a gazebo at the top of the dune so you could sit in the shade and experience the beach breeze. But I would definitely stay there again!

We had a group of 14 family members of all ages. Had an amazing time. The location is perfect for beach pictures. House is laid out well for plenty of space and privacy. Enjoyed our stay very much.

We love being able to see the stars from the hot tub! Love the easy walk over the dunes to the beach. Great water pressure, plenty of silverware for our large group. Not fancy, but lots of space, looking forward to seeing the renovations.

The property is a traditional wooden interior cabin like look with all updated amenities and kitchen accessories.. however the size to hold 3-4 large families.
Rooms and mattress were well maintained and host called both during checkin and checkout.. only request is would have preferred a top level observation deck to get a view of sunrise and ocean.. However being right at the beach it’s a 30 second walk away..

Great location, short walk to the beach although it was difficult to traverse the sand dunes for the older generations. Had some issues with clogged drains but a quick call and the maintenance man, Sandy, arrived to save the day. The property seemed a bit old. In need of some updates and outside painting. The kitchen was well supplied. The refrigerator and dishwasher had broken parts. There were 18 of us with five dogs. The house was a perfect size for our group.

Good location/oceanfront
The location is good. Th layout of rooms worked ok for us, but 6 baths are listed there are 4 with shower and 5 toilets. The jack and jill second floor has 1 shower 2 toilets. Pool was nice, hot tub worked well.
The place needs some sprucing up, paint power wash and replace some of the walkway boards. Drive in some of the protruding nails. The kitchen cabinets were humg to high. Dishwasher needs a new bottom rack. Bathrooms are nice and clean.

I stayed at Windswept with my kids and their families plus my infant granddaughter, friends who are like family and 3 dogs. The weather was rough so we spent a lot of time inside and the house was spacious and comfortable. We cooked a lot and found the kitchen to be stocked with anything you might need. The beds were so comfortable. We were able to spend a lot of quality time together and relax. I was lucky enough to meet Ronnie the owner and she was so friendly! Communication was always prompt and helpful. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The dogs loved the dog run. You can just open the door to the deck and let them run down. I highly recommend Windswept!

The house was older and the downstairs was dark and outdated but true to the photos so it was what we expected. There were plenty of pros like a well stocked kitchen, easy access to the beach, and close to bars restaurants and shops, but the cons - we saw two cockroaches inside the cottage. Maybe this is typical of the south, I am not sure, but it needs to be sprayed. Also the pool was freezing cold. Perhaps we were there just a little too early in the season as I suspect they may have just opened the pool. There is no view of the ocean but the photos are not misleading and it was a very short walk over a small dune.

It was so nice being able to walk to the beach anytime we wanted, plus the hot tub was the best! It was extremely clean & I thought the views were beautiful. I can’t remember the name of the young woman we dealt with the day we checked in but she was pleasant as well. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer lol. Definitely a five star place!

Cleanest Property Ever Highly Recommend
This was our first family vacation. There were 10 adults, 2 teenagers, 4 under age of 7 & 5 fur babies. Everything was perfect. The house was the cleanest that I have ever stayed at, kitchen had everything anyone needed, cookware was state of art. The linens were top of the line, beds comfortable & furniture was great. The hot tub was a success. The fur babies enjoyed the dog run. I highly recommend this home & would stay at Windswept again. Thank you so much! A. Alley & family

You can’t beat this short walk over a dune to the beach, but I wish the water could be seen from the deck. (It can if you’re tall haha.). The house was fully stocked to cook all of our meals and plenty of room. We were actually supposed to be a group of 12 but thanks to sickness it was just my husband and I with 7 bedrooms! We stayed on the main floor and it was great being able to have our dogs there too. We ate in but there’s also plenty of restaurants close as well as shopping.

My family had a great stay at Windswept. The location is great and the property manager was incredibly responsive. The extra fridge and the wine fridge came in handy. The beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Great vacation spot!
We were a group of 8 adults and 4 children ages 2-7, and we had a wonderful week long stay. The property was spacious, clean, and centrally located for the beach, restaurants and shopping. The short walk to the beach over the dune was easy enough and we did it several times daily. The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the hot tub worked perfectly. It was super easy to get in touch with the property manager and they were very accommodating. I have nothing negative to say about our stay, and we were all so happy to have booked this property.

Great place for big family gathering
This house is exactly as advertised — extremely comfortable for a large group, very well equipped kitchen and games cabinet and amazing location right by a beautiful and uncrowded beach. It is not fancy, but everything you need is provided, and more. Comfortable beds, very convenient linen and towel and beach chair rental. Property managers were fantastic and very responsive. Would definitely come again.
