Property with pristine condo. We’re extremely nice. Everything is well maintained. Not too far from a nice beach. Not too far from the local tourist area for eating dining all that kind of stuff. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice property. Good location. Condo is older but in good condition. If you cook a lot, which we didn’t, the kitchen is well equipped.

My husband and I stayed here and our family stayed in another larger condo. The facilities in the condo area are great. I really like the layout and large size of the condo. The other condo we had was more updated but this condo was very functional and nice.

My husband and I booked this condo for our stay during the Ironman World Championships. We wanted a place with a kitchen and less like a hotel with just a coffee pot and mini fridge. We were blown away by how wonderful the Condo is as well as the whole resort. When we arrived we found the location easy to navigate to and the area quiet and away from all the bustling in Kailua-Kona. The bed was comfortable, the shower has great water pressure (something that has been an issue at other resorts), and the kitchen was great for meeting our needs for that high maintenance type-A triathlete. We had to do some work while staying there, and the internet is fast and reliable for doing work calls and zoom meetings. The condo has access to the resort amenities, more than one pool (the ocean pool was serene), tennis courts, and reasonable access to the Kona Country Club (not included). We were able to walk up to the shops if we wanted to and discovered that we are also walking distance to a pier that does snorkel tours and manta ray swims (an absolute must while in Kona). Highly recommend if you want to visit Hawaii/Kona but stay in your home away from home.

This condo is ideally located in a gated community in the Keauhou area South of Kona adjacent to the Kona Country Club golf course on the ocean. The apartment has two lanais, one off the living room with a golf course view and another off the bedroom with a partial ocean view. The complex is very well maintained and has multiple pools for use including an ocean front pool with a fantastic view of the rugged Kona coast. The apartment is very well maintained and is well appointed for both water sports and self catering with a fully equipped kitchen and communal BBQs in the complex. I look forward to booking this property again for future trips to the Big Island.

It has two lanais, a large one off the living room facing the golf course and a smaller one off the bedroom which has limited ocean view. It is exceptionally well appointed to provide almost everything one would need for an enjoyable Hawaiian vacation.

Lots of closets and space! Having access to washer and dryer was very beneficial.

This was the perfect spot for us! I have absolutely no complaints. We absolutely loved this place and location. Would definitely stay again when we come to the Big island. Very clean, easy check in and check out. Had no issues with any part of our stay. It had everything we needed , bed was comfortable air conditioning was great! Can’t say enough about this rental! Love love love! Can’t wait to come back!

The condo was simply just beautiful. We can't wait until we can make the trip back over and stay again. We have stayed in several places on the island. This, easily, has to be the best place, hands down. Mahalo

The apartment we rented was very spacious with two lovely balconies and everything we needed for making our own meals, doing laundry and just being comfortable. We very much enjoyed the oceanside pool and hot tub, from which we could watch the gorgeous sunsets. The staff personnel were very friendly and courteous.

This is my second stay in 1203 and tenth+ stay at Kanaloa at Kona. I started visiting Hawaii in 2008 and made a bucket list to travel to each island. In the end, the Kona side of the big island is my favorite for the type of recreation I’m seeking, weather, and price. Kanaloa at Kona has become my home away from home; I hope to purchase a condo of my own someday. The complex offers a variety of accommodations due to unit sizes and locations/views. 1203 is a great option for a budget-friendly stay while still providing nice amenities and all the luxuries of the complex.

With out a doubt the nicest condo I’ve ever stayed at. Quiet, private, clean, ocean front, 3 pools, perfect location away from Kailua traffic. Great staff. Look forward to staying there again. 5 star

Great property in terms of location and amenities. The second floor location of the condo was great for air flow-no AC necessary. The kitchen could use some updating, but it was functional for actual cooking. The rental agent was very responsive to issues.

Clean, very comfy bed; 1 minute walk to the ocean-side pool for enjoying my morning coffee. Furnishings modest & in good condition; a few overloaded outlets; original cabinetry; I quickly overlooked as the price was very reasonable, & the majority of time was spent outdoors. This unit a definite unit I’d rent again! This was the 4th condo we’ve rented at Kanaloa at Kona, all had plus & “okay” features. I prefer open windows for listening to the surf & sunrise birds; this was my 1st experience with my talking with a friend on the lanai then inside 9-10:15pm on a Sat night disrupting & bothering a nearby guest (per her loud request “for us to stop talking”). The units ARE close together, but typical & customary. The staff & all other guests friendly as usual!

Great stay at Kanaloa 1203! Clean, comfortable and great location. Sleeping with the windows open listening to the ocean waves was a bonus. From start to finish renting this property was smooth. Not too close to the hustle and bustle but close enough when needed. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely time at this property and recommend it for younger people who take off in the morning and come back in the evening. We are seniors and had a problem with the steps to get to the actual condo. There were 4-5 steps getting to the landing to go in, then once "in" there was an entire staircase going up to the actual property. We left our suitcases downstairs and took our clothes up as it would have been really difficult to take it all up. The property is lovely but old. The bathroom tile floor around the commode moves underfoot. The entire place is dated including no real ability to shut out the noise from outside because of the shutter type windows and because it is a property with a lot of foliage outside, there were constant gardeners early in the morning until afternoon. The kitchen is very well equipped with dated appliances, the stove has burners that are tipped so you have to really work at keeping the heat on your pan in the right places. Saying that, I could probably have fixed even Thanksgiving dinner there as there were plenty of pots and pans and items I would need. I really appreciated that. The living room furniture is really bad. They are sunken and horribly uncomfortable. I finally tried the rocker and pulled a chair over to put my feet on, that was the most comfortable chair in the place. The bed was EXCELLENT. We paid for the air conditioner but felt terrible using it as there was so much air escaping due to the louvered windows. But we did get cooler when they ran. LOVED the washer dryer. LOVED the big kitchen. LOVED the internet and the TVs. I don't think we would go back there but I don't want to discourage others. It just wasn't perfect for us.

Overall I'd say this was a very nice condo. The grounds are quiet, beautiful and clean, and check in was a breeze. The condo is was spacious, clean and functional. The only thing I suggest is that it's time for some upgrades. And at the end of the day when we went to the "Adult" pool there were children in the pool both times so we did not go for a 3rd time. They were supervised but we still would have preferred adults only. Other than this we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the property very much.

Our 4 day experience was absolutely wonderful! Everything worked well, it was clean, the King size bed was a delight. Great views of the golf course and some ocean. A definite do over!

This is our 2nd stay in unit 1203 (and our 20th year coming to Hawaii) we really like 1203. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Quiet, great views, close to pool/spa. Will definitely stay here again.

First time to the big island and we enjoyed our stay at KAK (Konaloa at Kona) condo. It had everything we needed such as a full kitchen, washer/dryer, parking, etc. Property is clean and well maintained. A bit dated like most condos but doesn't impact comfort or convenience. Highly recommended.

Had a great time on our first visit to the big island staying in Mark's condo. The condo had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay: full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach equipment, A/C, etc. Location was great and the condo was peaceful and quiet. We used the barbecue grill and ocean pool almost daily. Would definitely visit again and stay at the same condo. Thanks!

We loved staying at your condo. The view of the mountains and golf course was so beautiful. Every morning we sat on the Lanai and had coffee and watched the birds, the beautiful flowers, it was so relaxing. You had a great book on things to do. Each towels and chairs. We would definitely come back

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at a 1 bedroom condo. Kanaloa at Kona is in a great location along the beach on the south side of Kona. Easy driving to Kailua shopping and dinning district. The condos had all needed supplies to cook and barbecue at the condos. BBQ grill throughout the complex 3 pools and hot tubs. WasherDryer in unit balcony’s with lounge chairs and dinning tables. It was perfect. The owner also had snorkeling gear at the condo with body boards for surfing. I know they have 2 and 3 bedroom condos. I would highly recommend this place to all our family and friends. Aloha!!! Only downside traffic can get a little congested on the main north/south road

Aloha, If you're looking for a great place to stay on the Big Island this is it. This was our second trip back to Kanaloa at Kona and my wife and I can't wait to return next year. The condo was amazing and had everything we needed for our stay. Each morning we'd enjoy our coffee and breakfast on the deck and in the afternoons, when we weren't touring the island, we could be found out by the pool chatting with other guest. Close to downtown Kona, the short drive into town is convenient for shopping, lunch, dinner or a swim off Kailua Kona Pier, where each year amazing athletes competes in the world's most prestigious Ironman. In addition, if you and your family enjoy snorkeling, Kanaloa at Kona is conveniently located to some of the best. Again, we are looking forward to visiting Kanaloa at Kona during our next trip to Hawaii, and if condo 1203 is available that's exactly where my wife and I will be heading.
