Rosie and Urs our hosts were such a lovely couple, friendly and helpful.
The location in the heart of the country makes it the perfect getaway cottage for nature lovers ,walkers and anybody who needs peace and quiet.

This place was perfect! A nice small cottage in the middle of the farm land. Next to you there are some animals which really gives you the farmland vibe. The cottage was nice and clean, very cozy with the fireplace in the middle. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Great place if you want to disconnect as there is no WiFi (which was a great plus for us!)

Very quiet and tranquil location, clean and tidy with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay.
It was a little chilly when we got there, took a bit of time to warm up!

Rosie and Urs are wonderful hosts, it was so lovely to meet them and see their way of life. We just wanted to relax and recharge and the cottage was perfect for that. We loved having the fire burning, cooking in the great kitchen, and going for local walks. And of course all the sweet animals!
Just beware it can be difficult to get taxis in Bantry, so always plan ahead that way.

the owners Urs and Rosie, their dogs and horses. mostly we loved everything - the surrounding gardens, chickens, sheeps and goats

Fantastic stay, lovely and quiet. Was nice waking up to the morning bird songs. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Hosts Urs and Rosie where great.

The cottage, the scenery, the beautiful scent from all the flowers and the quietness.

The octagonal cottage was beautifully designed, comfortable, well equipped and set in a stunning garden of wild roses, foxgloves and other shrubs and flowers. Our hosts, Urs and Rosie, could not have been more welcoming and helped us to appreciate the delights of their secluded organic farm - the goats and horses, the meadows, lake and river and the ever present birdsong.

I cannot describe in words how amazing this place is, you literally have to experience it to understand it.
The kindness of Rosie and Urs it's one of a kind, they made us feel just like family.
They are such amazing hosts and without them this experience wouldn't be as incredible as it was.
The place it's so magical, it really makes you feel in contact with mother earth. It's like an enchanted forest; so peaceful.
The cottage has all the comforts you need, so you will sleep like a baby.
Definitely for nature lovers!!
