About this condo rental
Nestled in Mendon, this lovely condo for $179 per night is a great choice for your next trip. New kitchen appliances, new counter top, one bathroom completely redone with granite in the bathroom upstairs and marble in the lower bathroom new vanity's in both bathrooms, glass shower door, custom tile work, new lighting, and new flooring. New mattresses new king bed furniture, new TV's flat screen with smart TV in the living room. new carpet upstairs, hotel collection linens, down pillows and down comforters, new kitchen supplies and dishes. A great property!! Also as of 10/2020 new flooring in the open main area and new hearth You can have 4 adults and two kids There is a sleeper sofa a king bed and a queen bed plus two full bathrooms Unit is restricted to 4 adults but child/infants do not count in this occupancy but the occupancy will be strictly adhered to due to covid please ask about if all amenities are still open it does change all the time it seems now and they may be closed so be sure to ask if this is of interest . For now all amenities are not available due to covid do not request to book PRIOR to asking if the amenities are open if this is important since if I accept your reservaiton it is accepted

Our family Xmas present was a long weekend to Killington. Although my husband and I had been to the area for a weekend a number of years ago with a work event. It was our 26 yr old son’s 1st time. His girlfriend joined us and we had a great time! The 20 somethings did a lot more skiing then the boomers who are intermediate beginners at best. However between the property and resort there was something for everyone!!
We all loved the ski home trail back to Trail Creek! It was quintessential! The fireplace as well as the sauna and Jacuzzi at the Amenities Ctr were a perfect end to the day.
Kim was great to work with as we were able to coordinate both an early and late check in/check out with her.
Great location and everything you need!
Would definitely stay at Trail creek again! Hope to be back some day.

We had a wonderful time staying in Kim’s condo! It was very clean and comfortable, extremely well-appointed and in the perfect location. We walked to the lift in the morning, skied all day and then were able to ski right back to the unit. Then we hit the pool, hot tub and sauna and returned to the condo and a roaring fire. We can’t wait to go back!

Unfortunately, the Trail Creek properties are not really walkable to the lifts. There also wasn't nearly enough snow to use the ski-home trail during our visit. This really limited the convenience of this rental for us... but the unit is nice and it's plenty comfortable for a family of four. The instructions and recommendations offered were spot on... and easy access to plenty of firewood was one of the highlights.

Trail Creek was fantastic. Close to everything Killy has to offer. Walk to Snowshed is fine for adults and teens. Ski home was so convenient. Wood burning fire place was a cozy amenity.

Very cozy and comfortable place. Super easy check-in/out and easy communication with Kim. This is a ski-in place, not a ski-out. The shuttle will take you wherever you need to on the mountain. Skiing-in was super fun and very convenient. The gear room/foyer was very useful for all our ski gear. Decor was comfy and pleasant; albeit dated. Could use a refresh. Location was amazing, beds were great, place was warm...felt like home. Thank you, Kim!

The location is within walking distance to the slopes of Killington! The condo has all the essentials: comfortable furnishings, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kitchen, fireplace and ski racks at the entrance. The communication from the owner was excellent and helpful. It is also within ten minutes drive to excellent eateries and entertainment after the mountain closes. Highly recommended.

All & all, the place was nice. It was walking distance to hikes and the Killington Mountain Fall Fair. A few things of note: the kitchen is tight. It's tiny & only fits one person. As a previous reviewer mentioned, we also found a bunch of laundry in the dryer AND the washer (not sure how long it had been there, but it was damp & stunk, so we had to re-wash it, which was a pain). The fireplace was nice. Living room furniture could use an update. There's only room to seat 3 comfortably on the couch with no other great seating options. Other than that, it was a nice place.

The woman came up and angrily told us that it sounded like a herd of elephants and her kids could not sleep. Unfortunately, we drove from NJ in a blizzard, they are little kids (3 & 6) getting ready for bed, and unless they learn how to fly, it is what it is. Then a security guard came up 2 minutes after that with the same complaint. This is all within 5 minutes of us stepping in the unit in a blizzard. Unit is dated along with the bedding. One thing to beware of if you have little ones, is the upstairs loft that has a sign from the fire marshal stating that no one can sleep in that room, has the back of the bed (with no headboard) the same height as the railing/balcony. So, if you are a little kid and get on the bed, not paying attention, and fall...you are falling 12 feet and will be in the ER guaranteed. Scary, as my child was excited to explore upstairs and I almost had a heart attack as he was standing at the edge of bed at 3 years old looking down at me in the living room. That needs to be addressed ASAP. The flue on the fireplace was not working and smoked-out the entire unit. For the money it didn't feel like the value was there, and since you cannot ski or walk to the mountain, a 10 minute drive at a house opposed to a 5 minute drive in this condo, I think would make more sense. The end of the day its just a bed to sleep in but at the price I wouldn't do it again.

Overall a nice place
The property itself is nice. It's as close as you can get to the main ski lodge from a condo. Not ski out, but only a short walk to the lifts and lodge. Plenty of supplies, cookware, and even a full spice rack in the kitchen.
To make the initial communication a bit smoother I would suggest just sending the documents that apply to that specific location. All the emails refer to 3 different regions that they run rentals at. So you have to read through beach house instructions and ski lodging. All the communications include all 3 regions every time. It would be very easy for them to parse the information into 3 pre written emails and only send appropriate information for that area. It would cut out a lot of if/then statements and improve readability.
Their "legal documents" are very poorly written and illogical. Needs to be reviewed and proof read. This is made more of an issue because the top of the contract says if you don't understand the document to get legal assistance reading it however it is clear that after the document was written it is been repeatedly edited with little thought.

Overall a nice and comfortable condo to stay in
Most everything was pretty much as listed, so it was therefore quite nice. There were two things that were disappointing for me, one was the upstairs bed. It was incredibly squeaky, even with small movements. We were hoping to sleep there, but there was no way it was going to work. So, unless this bed is replaced, I consider this condo to be a one bed, one fold out couch condo. We didn't check out the fold out couch to see if it was in decent shape or not. My other disappointment was the sauna. I'm not a hot tub or pool fan, but I love to sweat in the sauna, so it was a plus that it had one. Even after turning it on 45 to 60 minutes ahead of time, and sitting in it for 20-25, it never got anywhere close to hot. Unless the sauna is repaired, there should be no advertisement for a sauna. The nature views from inside the condo are nice, and the dining and kitchen area are inviting for cooking.

Entrance code was wrong. Had to hunt down the owner. Furniture was very uncomfortable. No mention in write-up of having to climb lots of stairs. I am handicapped. Ceiling fan was on and no way to shut it off.
