Quirky property that had all you need for your stay. Right on top of the waterfront bars and restaurants, lovely walks and plenty of sailing going on. Weather was unbelievable, lucky us! West Mersea is a great place to visit, very friendly and welcoming people.

You don't need to leave mersea Island as everything you need is close by and within walking distance. You can even walk around the whole Island if you want (16 miles). Essex Wildlife Trust Fingringhoe and Tollesbury Wick not very far away have some excellent walks also.

Fantastic gem for couples seeking a short break by the Essex estuary which pulls of a successful mix of traditional boating activity and significant gentrification. Highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
