Perfect place to stay in Aït Ben Haddou

The family that is running the place is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and I can recommend to have your morning coffee on their rooftop from where you have an amazing view overlooking the mountains.

Sin duda lo mejor es la familia que nos acogió; es encantadora, amable, colaboradora, acogedora… simplemente Preciosa. Pasamos una noche estupenda ya que la cama es muy cómoda y la habitación tiene todo lo necesario para que no tengas que llevarte muchos enseres (toallas, secador, mantas…) La casa es Preciosa, llena de detalles de su tierra. El desayuno riquísimo y variado.

Nada, todo más que perfecto por ese precio.

Away from all the tourist busses

We avoided the tourist rush in Ait Ben-Haddou and spent the night two kilometres outside, which was a good decision. We had a nice stay on Riad Tigmi with great food and breakfast on the roof terrace with a gorgeous view. The host and his family were adorable.

Excelentes anfitriones, una cama cómoda, un lugar muy agradable y cerca de todo. Nos tuvimos que ir muy temprano y nos prepararon el desayuno igual. La cena muy recomendable, volvería.

Wonderful Find!!

Riad Tigmi du Soleil was a a surprise gem! the owner (Suleiman) and his family were very lovely and welcoming- it felt like being a guest in their home. It was outside of busy area near Ait Behaddou, and the view from the rooftop was beautiful. The home cooked breads for breakfast and local honey/ jams were delicious, and we enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop after a long drive. The price was very good, and they had on-site parking.I wish we could have stayed here longer. We would definitely stay here again!

The owner was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The room was big, clean and cozy. We really loved the rooftop terrace and the entire house. Also the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything. We would come back anytime.

We stayed for to nights and had the best home cooked tajine.

The host, Slimane, and his family are extremely nice and welcoming. The interiors are lovely. The breakfast was served on the terrace with a view of the mountains, it was simple but tasty, some Moroccan pancakes with honey, jam and cheese. We also had the tajine for dinner and it was the best one we had during our trip. The location is good if you want to rest from the chaos of Moroccan cities. It’s close to Ait Ben Haddou. It is also possible to use the hammam and have a massage. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay at when visiting Aït Ben Haddou.

Super kind staff, lovely people! We had a very nice breakfast on the terrace with a nice view towards the mountains. The terrace also had an amazing view of the start at night.

The bathroom had a bit of a smell to it, which also got into the bedroom area. We opened a window which helped a bit.

Beautiful house, with a stunning Terrasse for breakfast in the morning The family are amazing and help you with any questions you might have Secure parking behind the building Short walk or (very short) drive to Ait Ben Haddou - after a day of driving we welcomed the walk - and got to see the starry sky on our way back :) Would recommend this place

Perfect stay with rental car!

Incredibly kind host family! Nice roof terrace overlooking the town to enjoy the sunset. It’s the perfect stay if you are with a rental car as you can easily get into town and park your car there.

This accommodation was not planned for us, because we had one in Marrakech during this time. But we realised that going to Ait Ben Haddou from there, and go back the same day, it is not rational. So we decided to "overpay" for that day and spend one night in riad. What a great decision it was! One day is definitely not enough there, so we had enough time for everything, plus this way we had the chance to spend a great night here and to get to know a warm, welcoming family. The breakfast was incredible, on the terrace with a beautiful view. The riad is located about 2 km from Ait Ben Haddou but for a few more minutes with car, you should not skip this one.

Loveliest stay in Morocco!

It's a super cozy family home where the owners will treat you like a family member. Beds are comfortable, there is a terrace with a great view to the mountains where you can have a tasty breakfast and you can even order lunch or dinner to have there. Definitely recommend!

Very nice and spacious room with the one and only hair dryer I ever encountered in Marocco (thank you - very nice!). Lovely terrace with a good mountain view. I was a bit stomach sick when we checked in and the lovely staff made sure I was ok. Had dinner in the riad, also very good tajine!

The terrace has lots of sun and a good mountain view, but sadly there is hardly any furniture up there so you can sit down comfortably.

Nice place for a night

Great guys running it, couldn't do enough to make you feel at home. Nice breakfast, great Tajine. They even have beer!

It was a bit cold, even with extra blankets, but the hit shower helped.

amazing days

We felt like at our home and the staff in this riad is simple amazing. Friendly people, a great experience. We made a horse ride tour by the mountains with Morroco horseback ( riad manager’s cousin) that it was the most incredible and fun experience in the area. We were supposed to stay 1 night, however we loved this place so much that we extended it for 2 nights! we wil come back for sure! thanks for all the hospitality guys!!

Slimane is very kind and welcoming. He was very accommodating with the timing of our supper.

Slimane was very welcoming. We watched the stars from the terrace. The food was nice and plentiful. Quiet location, close to Ait Ben Haddou. If you drive further on along this road the scenery is amazing.

Very good

The Riad is 2 km from Ait Ben Haddou so unless you're by car, be ready for the walk on the side of a provincial road. Slimane the host was super nice and friendly. The room was cozy and clean.

Good stay , good host. Value for money

The hosts are really helpful and adjustable. Really nice place to stay. Good location. Parking available. They can also cook delicious meals for you . I really appreciate their hospitality

as there is no heater in room, rooms are bit chilly in winter

Good value for money in a more remote location!

Th location was close to tourist town but outside which felt more secluded and special. There was amazing views from the rooftop and lots of common spaces. It also had hot water and overall good value for money. We also had dinner there and it was one of the best ones we had yet!

Breakfast was just bread and coffee with some jam, so a little small but not bad. The bed was a little hard, but lots of warm blankets.

Everything!! The family is so friendly, they give you the feeling and privacy to feel like home! The house is beautiful, such a nice style and everything super clean!! The breakfast on this beautiful terrace is wonderful! Such a nice view!! Ait ben haddou kasbah is just 3 minutes from it! We had a lovely stay thank you so much!!!! The price is much to cheap for what you get :)

Exceptional

Slimane and his family were amazing. They offered me tea once I entered with some sweets. I had the place to myself, yet Slimane had provided all the amenities and gave me access to the entire building. I have asked for a dinner which he served along with some fruits. The room is very well decorated and has all you need. The bathroom also contained all the necessities and the Hot water was running smoothly. Id you don't have a car, the riad Is located in a walking distance from the Kasbah (30min walk approximately), you can also take a cab from the main road. Go to the terrace to enjoy the tranquility and the view. I'd totally recommend this place.
