Not sure what the negative reviews are about. This property was great. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and the house was clean. Plenty of towels and a great amount of space. There were 9 of us and we were all very comfortable. I felt safe here. There are some restaurants and bars in the area and I felt comfortable walking to them at all times (I was always with at least 2 others but I think would feel fine alone also). I would definitely stay here again!

The pool and back yard was amazing. The owner was easy to contact. The house was very suitable for our group. The neighborhood is a little sketchy so I would highly recommend not letting teens / older children walk around alone. Be alert to your surroundings if you're out wanking around.

We arrived at the property and headed straight to the pool. Later we realized the home was rather hot (83 degrees F) and not cooling down. After looking at email I realized the property manager sent a message to call him. I called and he was aware the AC condenser froze up and was not cooling the house and repair guy would be there the next morning. He offered another property a couple miles away in Hollywood where we could stay so we took him up on the offer. The Hollywood property had advantages for our group and we stayed there 5 nights until a new group was moving in so we went back to this home in Dania Beach. The AC was fixed and worked well. The pool and spa (not a hot tub) was nice in a very nice fenced in backyard with great outdoor seating. The bathrooms are nice and clean. Plenty of towels and they were not musty smelling as noted in one review. Most everyone thought the beds were very comfy. The drive from this house to the beach is an easy and direct drive. The floors are in rough shape and a little uneven but you walk on them, not a real problem. Parking is okay for one car, more than two cars would be a challenge. The biggest issue at this house is the dishwasher that doesn’t really work, the wash machine that squeaks terribly during the wash cycle, the dryer that we had to run 3 times to dry one load of laundry and the refrigerator that had water/ice in the door but didn’t work either. The disappointing thing was that we inquired about the dryer being functional after reading reviews and we were assured that everything worked. Well I guess it did work, just not very effectively.

The hot tub was a lukewarm tub. We requested that he came to fix it but he claimed it was as hot as it will get. (85 Degrees) There were moldy wet towels in the washing machine. I washed them and the the dryer didn’t work. The wifi was extremely spotty. It said it slept 12 but that included someone on the couch and someone on an air mattress … but the air mattress was broken. The dishwasher doesn’t release the detergent. Not in a safe neighborhood.

We rented the property for a week after Christmas till New year. This is a property/house that is solely used for renting (unlike all the other VRBOs i have stayed, which give you a warmth/feel that you are stepping into a friend/relative's home). This is 5 bed rooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, dining area, living area, stitched together as an alternate to staying in 3-4 individual hotel rooms. You will not be making any fond memories in this house and neither in the vicinity of this house...
The following were the issues :
- Heat not working at home (yes we landed at the worst winter in FL's history but with 70-80 yr olds and kids, we needed heat). This didnt get fixed for two nights after multiple/repeated requests for help...
- Clothes dryer didnt work for the entire trip. I had to make daily trips to the local laundromat (thankfully there are 2-3 around)..so every morning i would make a run to the local laundromat (opens at 6am), spend 90 mins and get back as family is getting ready for the day
- Bed Sheets and comforters smell bad
- Floor uneven, boards coming off, scratches at multiple places
- using the Microwave flickers the light in kitchen, lights/fans dont work in sync
- front door knob broken
- House is small for a party greater than 6-8, the dining, living/TV room all spill into each other
- Small but important things like : no soap in bathroom, no dishwashing liquid, floor mats in bathroom missing, hand soap is the cheapest variety, kitchen utensils extremely used, fridge drawers missing..
That said, the house host was very responsive and tried his best to fix the issues but we decided to vacate the house with one night left as the overall experience was just not worth it for us as a family...
Regarding VRBO as a entity, i would seriously look at other options as in all of this, they did little to help (heat, dryer etc) and after the first day, just forgot about the "ticket" that i raised.

It was a pretty good stay. Hot water in one bathroom didn't work, no ice in the house, floors were uneven but to me not a big deal, some of my family were not impressed. Plenty of room, pool area was great. Overall it was a pretty good stay and I would stay again but wouldn't be my first choice.

Perfect for our family
This house was great for our family! The back yard is completely enclosed! Our grand kids loved the pool and hot tub, so did we!! Taylor was great to communicate with, very quick responses. The kitchen was fully equipped. There were plenty of linens, bath and beach towels. Great Vacation!

The blinds were broken in most of the windows- torn and it looked like someone had ripped them down, the back screen door was cut by the handle, the back sliding door handle looked like someone tried to rip it off. It appeared as though someone had tried to break in. The back screen door was taped up. Most of the towels were old, no kitchen towels, very limited silverware. Most importantly the area is not safe. A man walked in the back yard and was taking pictures- he claimed for the owner but it creeped us out. When we came back from dinner a man approached our Uber and said “ I’m gonna pop a cap in your a**”. That was the end point for us and we left the home as we could not stay there. There were hardly any lawn chairs as well- does not match the pictures online. The owner is horrible and is trying to lie saying his home is in perfect condition. The amount of money he charges to stay here is ridiculous for the quality - it is worn and torn inside and out and not in a safe area. This man should not be allowed to rent his house and we will never use vrbo again!! This experience was stressful and horrible! It ruined half of our vacation. Don’t let this man fool you - you deserve a great vacation and you will be highly disappointed. The VRBO response to our situation has been horribly stressful as well.

The fact that there were many bedrooms and bathrooms makes it a good stay for a group, but, there were many things that were broken/missing that make the stay just OK. The dishwasher was almost pulled out of the counter. The kitchen cabinets were totally broken, couldn't really be used. Several handles on the doors to the pool were broken, so although we could still get in and out easily, it felt sloppy. It was also really tough to cook or make meals as there were next to no kitchen/cooking supplies (no ovenmit, no kitchen towels, no olive oil or other "staples", etc.). We also had a tough time working the washer. But again, if you're looking to spend most of your time by the pool, then it is a pretty good stay. The outside area is really private and great for lounging.

Had an outstanding stay at Taylor's house. There were 4 adults and 6 kids, we had more than enough space to spread out, sleep comfortably, and play in the pool without being on top of each other. The kitchen had all the basics for cooking (we made all our food at home) and Wal-Mart/Winn-Dixie was super close for the extra things we needed (e.g., parchment paper). The owner let us borrow a high chair and pack 'n play (versus renting) and he was very quick to respond when we needed a hand figuring out the TVs (my kids messed with the remotes, totally our fault). The outdoor space was the icing on the cake. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our winter get-away, the patio tables were awesome for eating & hanging out outside, and the canopy made daytime in the yard comfortable for those not swimming and lots of lights in the yard for nighttime outside. We would absolutely return and stay here again.

These pictures do not accurately portray the house from our December 2020 stay(different w/d, dirty furniture, outdoor furniture - hammock broken and other broken chairs on side of the house). Now it has broken and duct-taped appliances, broken uneven floors, a hot tub that is on the pool heater so it will not reach hot tub heat (the owner told me that it won't as well). Did I mention the rat? Have the picture of my furry roommate. Thankfully we did not meet him until the final day of our stay. We contacted the owner multiple times a day with issues. The owner responds to calls - but will expect you to fix (his BBQ told us to try a lighter, so he knows it doesn't work properly) or blame you(when the cracked washer wouldn't run, it was our fault...and they did not fix or replace so our last 2 days were without clean linen and towels. Luckily I had family in the area who pitched in. We had to return dirty towels to them which was embarrassing). We saw another review talking about the lack of kitchen towels, we had the same problem along with no oven mitts and watered down soap. He also did not have any propane in BBQ or firetable, so he just dropped off propane for us to fix. You need to keep your shoes on as the floor of the main room is uneven and the floorboards are coming up(there are some spots where they nailed down the floating floor so watch out for those). We requested a partial refund due to misrepresentation of a hot tub home and the rat - the owner hung up on me accused me of "enjoying my stay" and said there was no rat.At this price point, we expected a house to match what we paid for.

Quick turn around on booking
We had a change of plans and need a place to stay for 7days in the Hollywood area. This location was booked 10 days prior to us arriving and they did a great job prepping for our stay

Wonderful layout and yard.
The layout of the house with five bedrooms, three of which were master suites, worked out nicely for us. The decor of the house was also nice. The back yard, pool and hot tub were wonderful.

It was not a cheap stay, the outside is great, the inside is poor from bad smells, un leveled floor, towels that are old, not having basic paper towel, coffee, tea and so on, not clean and the headline was a dead mouse picess in one of the top kitchen cabinets

Fantastic Florida Getaway
This house is fabulous!! We stayed there to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday and it was perfect. The house is fantastic, with enough space for everyone to be close and still have privacy. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing! And, the location is ideal. It's close to everything! Lastly, the owner is great. He was so helpful and accomodating. We will definitely be back. My 7 year old has claimed it as our "Florida House!" I highly recommend this house (unless, of course, I'm renting it. :))
