Boats are anchored within the cove, beyond which the bold open ocean surf crashes onto the rocks of the point. There are 3 bedrooms (1 king/1 king + 1 single/1 queen). In addition max 2 additional people can sleep on a queen sleeper sofa in front of the fireplace. All bedrooms have en-suite baths and ceiling fans. There is a very spacious lounge and TV room, a living/dining room with cathedral-style vaulted ceilings, fan, exposed beams and a beautiful stone fireplace for cosy evenings. The original structure houses 2 guest rooms, both with own baths. A pocket door leading to this part of the house from the TV room can be left open or closed for more privacy. The entire home is outfitted with plenty of built-in closet space, incl a walk-in dressing room in the master bedroom. Eat in or go out: we have shops and restaurants open year-round nearby. New Harbor is one of the last working harbors along the mid-coast. The harbor and surrounding area are steeped in the rich history of fishing, lobstering and boat building. Though you have convenience stores and casual restaurants as well as eat-in, take-out seafood places, you won’t feel that you are in a busy tourist destination.
