Nestled in South Bass Island, this charming house for $703 per night is a great option for your next break. Come and enjoy the privacy of your own Home. Bring your own food and drink and enjoy the camaraderie of your friends and family while enjoying all the Island has to offer. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our Home which is nestled on an acre of land in the woods. It is a large, comfortable Home located near the State Park, Saunders Golf Course the Put-in-Bay Airport and is one mile from downtown. Sleeps 12-13 comfortably and is the best Home for large groups on the Island and is perfect for families, reunions, bachelorette parties and large groups who want to stay together. It is truly a Home A way From Home—you will love it! Enter from the 1,000 square foot wrap-around deck into the 'Great Room.' The Great Room offers a clear view through sliding glass patio doors from the living room, dining area and kitchen. The A Frame has Cathedral ceilings, two Fireplaces and plenty of room. This is a great Home for bringing the entire family or for a group coming to fish in the spring and fall. Put-in-Bay--The Key West of the North--Put-in-Bay is the most exciting, fun filled destination in the Midwest (maybe the USA?) and can be as relaxing, romantic, or wild as you want it to be. The property is no where near where the VRBO pin shows. Pin shows that it is near the park in the main town area. It's actually way out of town. Much closer to Joe's bar. The inside smells very musty (not at all like Pine Sol as the owner tried to refute in another post). Only 2 of the 4 window AC units work consistently. Two would turn on but then have a power surge and trip the power strip breaker within a few minutes of being on. Bedding and bathrooms were clean which was the biggest plus.

There was a few minor things that we wished were different. There were no extra garbage bags but we figured it out. And the air conditioners kept popping the breakers but we made due. Was a nice play to stay: and so spacious.

My family had a great time getting away this past weekend for the Fourth of July and staying at Robert’s place was wonderful. Despite a few little kinks with the place everything was wonderful and Robert was very communicative. We overall had a great time and it was the perfect location for a getaway.

Great location. Lots of room for parking. Place is spacious. Good area for grilling and sitting on deck. In regards to contacting owner, I Sent a text to number provided in regards to check in, got no response. And as for cleanliness, the First time we needed a frying pan we found several that still had grease in them from the previous use, that obviously were not washed. That was disgusting and I’m assuming more the fault of the previous renter. Toilet paper holder was broken off the wall. Not a big deal , and Overall, we enjoy this A frame very much. It works well for our group, just a couple minor things could be tidied up that would help tremendously.

Great space for large groups who don't mind sharing living and sleeping space. Big yard and porch space perfect for lounging and yard games. About a mile from downtown but a short walk to Joe's Bar. Wifi would have been helpful as there is very limited cell service on this part of the island.

Nice house tucked away with plenty of privacy. Still close enough to downtown to be just a quick trip down to the bars. Interior is a little older but overall clean and plenty of sleeping space.

Great Place To Stay to Enjoy the Island
I stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends and it was such a great house and is centrally located to many great attractions on the island. I would definitely recommend it.

Great house for a family stay. Needs some updating but very clean and comfortable. Beautiful shaded yard and drive.

Great place for a group of guys to hang out and have a weekend. Yard is pretty amazing, you have privacy, 5 minute drive to downtown.
Property is a little dated and seemed to be well used. Small fixtures and locking brackets were not fixed properly and loose. Lighting was not working and we were having some trouble with outlets. Reset breakers twice to get power. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Great location although does not match owner’s listing as it’s on the opposite end of island. Pens for guest’s use like grill, cooking utensils, coffee maker, were outdated or in disarray. Cooked a couple meals on grill so it wasn’t too bad. Suggest that you bring a coffee maker as the drop machine here was slow and not very hot. Circuit breaker for living room Windows AC trips frequently, eventually we gave up and ran only fans in this part of house. Be electric dryer was not working as owner was waiting on electrician to fix 220 outlet, this was more than a minor inconvenience being the close proximity to water and water related sports. - i.e. kayaking. Wet clothing after washing or playing had to dry in the sun. Deck and fire pit were nice for sitting outdoors in the evening, neighborhood was quiet and very close to state park. Overall, pretty good place, especially considering the cost.

Everyone in our group was very happy with the property and their stay in Put In Bay. Host was very responsive to all my messages. We would definitely stay at this property again, to the point where the group wants to change our yearly guys trip to PIB now. Thanks for letting us stay at your property!

We needed a place to rendezvous with my daughter's family headed east from Philadelphia, and this provided the perfect combination of convenience and fun. Her kids (vacationing from Israel) were especially taken with the island experience, and the 12 year old has become an expert on the war of 1812.

The place was overall weird, the listing stated "All towels and bedding washed in hot water that’s at least 60ºC/140ºF" but only included hand towels, the owner would not take my call once we arrived, would only text me. We had 10 guests and no towels. Also stated "minimum 1 day vacancy between guests stays" but he was making sure we were out by 11 am because he said he had new guests coming in later that day. Nothing in the kitchen was even rinsed prior to our arrival all dusty and dirty, the Grill provided was a gas grill with no gas, we were told to buy our own charcoal and use charcoal in it, the fuses kept popping when we had the a/c running. Would not rent from this guy ever again.

The furniture is old and smells, like probably 1980s and we got charged 100 bucks for breaking a leg off one.. don’t think we did, but oh well, maybe they can use it to upgrade something,

Spacious cabin
We stayed here as a group of 6 and had plenty of room. We loved the high ceilings and outdoor fire pit. The listing had a treehouse pictured, but there wasn’t one.

Perfect for a large group
We had 14 girls at Put in Bay for a bachelorette party, and this place was perfect. Enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably! Our only issue was the shower in the smaller bathroom didn’t work! Definitely a little tricky all using one bathroom to shower! All in all, it was a good place for a fun weekend!

Great time
We stayed for a girl’s weekend, so we weren’t in the cabin a ton, however, it was perfect for our needs. The listing is completely accurate, so there weren’t any surprises. The property manager was great at getting back to me in no time, and he was very accommodating. Make sure you take towels (we forgot those 🤦🏻♀️). I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to do an weekend on the island
