We stayed over Christmas andis was lovely. Enough space for everyone. They even gve us a decorated Christmas tree!
Loved the location. Easy access to everything. Good place for exploring the Ring of Kerry and Dingle peninsula. Great hikes close by.

This coach house has a lot of character and is well appointed and maintained. It’s quiet and away from the tourist crowds downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed being here!

This cottage was a great launching pad for our day triips to Dingle and the Ring of Kerry as well as the Cliffs of Moher. We walked to pubs and restaurants. We had a lovely rainy day by the fireplace . Would definitely come back!

Owner was accommodating and attentive. He quickly fixed a bad outlet while we were out and was able to provide a box to ship souvenirs home.
We arrived earlier than anticipated and were able to sit in the living room while the cleaning was completed upstairs, which was appreciated given the long journey.
The location was amazing, so close to the Ring of Kerry, and the grounds of the house were like stepping back in time with a village/cottage feel.
The house was great with ample space for our party.
The washer AND separate dryer were a nice surprise as most are combos and the dryer doesn't work well. They worked great and were convenient for us as we head on to the second part of our trip.
CONS
The house needs a thorough deep cleaning, especially on top of the light fixtures in the kitchen (everywhere really).
Additionally the stove was not cleaned when we arrived and the cleaning lady had already cleaned the kitchen. Likely an oversight.
The toilet in the half bath (inside the kitchen) does not flush well. The owner is aware of this problem as the last guests let him know.
There are light bulbs out in many areas of the house including the kitchen counter pendant and the top bedroom on the left (main ceiling and one on the wall above the bed). This was a problem because you do not have a light to turn on when you walk in that room unless you walk over to the bedside table.
There are three clocks in the living room and none of them worked. There were batteri

We tremendously enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, spacious and a great location. Bernadette and Tim are terrific hosts.

Stayed here with my family and had a great time. Owners are onsite and very helpful and accommodating. They even provided tips and recommendations on day trips. Lovely house and property. The house had everything we needed and more. Walking distance or short taxi ride to the Killarney town center. Would definitely stay here again.

The most gorgeous house we have ever stayed in! Check in was seamless thanks to Bernadette's prompt communication. The house was perfect and had everything we needed, including extra linens and laundry. Plus, we got a surprise visit from the host's dogs in the morning - absolute loves. In sum, I could not recommend the Coach House more highly - it was perfect for our stay in Killarney. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts.

The property was exactly like it was pictured but even nicer in real life. Tim was great and gave us great tips for making the most of our stay. It’s a nice walk into town for dinner and lots of places to choose from. So relaxing after a day of sightseeing to ditch the car and get some fresh air. The location is superb. Very quiet and peaceful yet walk a bit and you are in all the action. We did the Dingle following his instructions and by far our best day in Ireland. Also did the ring of Kerry again following Tim’s tips. Highly recommend you take his advice so you aren’t on the tour bus circuit.
Nice to have laundry facilities and the place was so clean and well fitted out. I am a super picky person and there was nothing I can complain about.

We really enjoyed staying at The Coach House. Tim was a great host and gave us plenty of information regarding places to visit. Killarney town centre is 15 mins walk from the property and has a real buzz around the place. Killarney National Park is stunning. Gretat for hiking.. I will visit again and look to spend more time in the area. Will definitely try to stay at this accommodation again. Thanks Tim. 🙏

This rental has all of the charm that is promised on the web site. We were able to walk into Killarney or park there, as needed.
The property managers were easily accessible for the couple of times we had a question.
I will look forward to staying at the Priory at some time in the future.

Property is in a delightful location with beautiful gardens and good outside spaces. It does not unfortunately enjoy great natural light indoors so first impression was a little disappointing. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and were very quick to help with a number of issues which we had with the inventory and cleanliness. Perfectly located for walking into town and ideal touring base for the area.

Quiet location but still walking distance from the city center. Big apartment / house. We really enjoyed it!

Very quiet place off the beaten path of tourists. Provides a wonderful reprieve from the business of Killarney.

The priory was a great home base for a four day visit to Killarney and area. So much to see and do with many restaurants nearby. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect Killarney cottage for being within walking distance of everything and still be surrounded by nature. A walking trail to the national park is just steps away, and Ross Castle is a comfortable walk away. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is fabulous, and the courtyard space provides a great location for sketching, reading or just having morning coffee. Owners were super nice, and their animals -- two little dogs and a cat-- on the property were such an enhancement to the homey countryside feel. Would definitely stay here again on a return trip to Killarney.

Lovely, quiet, secluded, cozy home. The priory sign says it's built about 1780! Exterior looks like it's from another age which was perfect and the interior is entirely modern with all the comforts of home. Both bedrooms are ensuite...one included a whirlpool tub along with a shower and the other had a steam shower. Fully supplied kitchen. Having a washer and dryer in the house was much appreciated. Tim and Bernadette are wonderful, helpful hosts. We only stayed for 2 days and wish we could have stayed many more. It's the prefect base for a stay in Killarney to see all it and southern Ireland has to offer. We would love to stay again.

Fabulous Coach House!
We loved our stay in the coach house... lovely property with lots of history and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The kitchen great for cooking meals. Close to town and just off walking trails, but very quiet. Bernadette and Tim were wonderful hosts and had good advice on what to see and do. We also really enjoyed our visits from Teddy and Maizey - 2 super- friendly and sweet dogs.

Pure Charm
Lovely quiet setting with unique stone coach house charm and features.. Weather was wetter and cooler than normal, so we greatly enjoyed sitting by the fire in the cozy living room each night. Modern amenities with great shower water pressure. Washer and dryer greatly appreciated. Grounds at the Priory are exquisite. Short cab ride into Town or walkable in 15 minutes or so. Overall excellent experience.
If you are planning on going to Killarney and Bernadette and Tim's "Coach House" is available, don't hesitate to book. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic location just outside of the town center. The owners are wonderful people and very responsive. Their two dogs that greet you on property made our stay - absolutely adorable.

The cottages were a dream! A must stay.

Wonderful property. Will certainly come back.
What an amazing spot. I'm so happy we discovered the Priory paddocks and used it as a home base to explore killarney, kerry and beyond. The coach house was actually much larger then the pictures online led me to expect , so we were very pleasantly surprised and very very comfortable during our stay. My wife throughly enjoyed her days alone infront of the turf fire when my son and I abandoned her to go on a couple of fishing trips.
We will definatley plan to come back again.

Pretty but cold
The property was lovely but hard to find. The courtyard leading to the unit was a bit cluttered. The kitchen was fabulous with high end appliances and enough kitchen wares to be useful for breakfasts and dinners in the unit. The BIGGEST problem with the place was that the renters have no control of the heat. We asked the owner several times to turn on the heat but it never (in 4 days) got truly comfortable temperature wise. Starting a fire was not feasible due to one of our party having respiratory issues that couldn't handle the smoke. We turned all the gas burners on the stove on to be able to sit in the common areas. The radiators in the baths and bedrooms never came on so we had to dry our towels every day in the clothes dryer. The living room furniture was comfortable and the property was within easy walking distance to several pubs/restaurants.

I can’t praise this property enough…beautiful, comfortable & conveniently located. Gardeners will love the wisteria climbing around the living room window & the camellias & roses outside the door. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen charming. There’s a washer & dryer! One caveat. There’s a spiral staircase to the bedrooms… I had no trouble with it; it has banisters on both sides. If I get back to Killarney, I’ll book The Priory.

We had a pretty good experience. Pretty close to town- but a good little jaunt.
The tub was a bummer, I upgraded to this property because it showed a great jacuzzi. Darn thing was on its last leg and one night wouldn’t even power on. Owners said they would get it looked at… but had I known it was not functional. I could have saved several hundreds and stayed in a much less expensive place. :) oh well…
Not much to watch on the television, so make sure you bring books for cold rainy nights inside :)
You have to build your own fires to stay warm, so if you’re here in cool weather- just note, you can’t just increase the thermostat :)
Kitchen is well stocked and having the washer and dryer was a big plus.
If everything worked or we had a larger group I would rent again- otherwise I’d save a few bucks.

A beautiful location minutes from everything
We had a very nice stay in Killarney. The house was in a great location, close to town and to the Muckross House. My daughters and dog loved the freedom of roaming the property and the house had everything we needed. It was a bit chilly as there’s not a whole lot of direct sunlight but the wood burning stove kept the house toasty. The rooms were all very spacious and we’d definitely go back!

Excellent stay.
The Coach House was great! Very spacious, warm and cosy. The wood burner wasn’t lovely. It was really handy for Killarney itself and all the sights were easily accessible.Only slight complaint, the overlarge pottery cups etc and especially the teapot were very heavy to hold and though lovely to look at were somewhat impractical. Apart from that, no complaints and we would heartily recommend the Priory! We would certainly come again!
